We chose Florence to stay in our place for a period of 4 days in August, and boy were we glad we did. She was caring and affectionate with our cats, sending us daily photos, thorough in all the cat "chores", and left our cats happy and our place neat and tidy. We would use her again, no question!

A great location for a pet-sit with 2 easy going, obedient and loving golden retrievers, Ellie and Pippa. With the girls we enjoyed many walks in the area, around Castleton and Hope, up Mam Tor, walks near Derwent Reservoir and also a walk across the moors to Padley Gorge. Pippa does get a little excited when in front on a walk, pulling on the lead and we found by encouraging her to walk behind one of us, she would happily walk on loose lead.
The fish in the pond in the garden are great to look at and need minimal effort to look after.
In terms of the property, it is very well equipped and the views into the valley from the balcony are lovely. We also enjoyed swimming at the outdoor pool in the centre of Hathersage (a drive or a c20 min walk downhill, advance booking is required, see pool website).
Communication with Adrian was clear and we felt welcomed into his home. Thanks again to Adrian, Ellie and Pippa for a great week in the Peak District.

We could not have asked for a better house and pet sit! Cliona and Conor were the ultimate in gracious and personable hosts. They gave thorough instructions for the care of their lovely pets, Sky and Millie, as well as their band of chickens. The old rectory is a magnificent old home built in 1800 and has been lovingly restored not only inside but out. The thought and care around the grounds and gardens adds to the beauty and tranquility of the property. The beautiful and “grown up” tree house adds to the charm of the place.
Sky and Millie are wonderful gentle and lovable dogs who quickly took to us as did we to them. As the old rectory is set on 6plus acres, the dogs live in a paradise all their own. The chickens as well have their own piece of the land and happily supplied us with eggs and entertainment.
We would gladly return to sit for Cliona and Conor but now also consider them to be good new friends.
Thank you again for the opportunity to be entrusted in the care of your home and pets. We could not have asked for more!

Julie and Simon are a lovely couple - genuinely warm and welcoming. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed.

Pumpkin and Parker are easy to care for gentle cats and Tisky the little mouse is sweet.

Luna is a gentle and good natured dog, a delight to take for a walk and very laid back at home. There are plenty of lovely walks on the doorstep.

The house house and garden are gorgeous and very clean and comfortable. The pool was a great bonus.

A perfect house sit, absolutely recommended!

Loved Alfie and his home. Thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful area along the river to walk Alfie, right outside his gate. Also my favourite coffee shop -Zero's. Dosen't get much better than this.

We had a wonderful 5 week pet sit with Rikki in Nanaimo. Andy and Brigid were so warm and welcoming from day one. They're the kind of couple with whom forming fast friendships comes effortlessly. We were provided with any information we needed before they departed and kept in touch via WhatsApp throughout their trip.

Rikki is a really playful dog who loves to run and explore. I'll definitely miss her excitement each morning which was adorably infectious, she'd just be overjoyed to see your awake.

We'd typically give her two walks a day, one early in the morning and then late afternoon. We would take out for a long morning walk on a local trail were she would encounter many of her dogs friends. Rikki gets along with humans and dogs alike, so we didn't have any issues having her off or on leash there. Having such a beautiful forest walk first thing in the morning was really a great way to start the day.

Andy & Brigid's home is blessed with a spectacular coastal view of the surrounding islands. From morning to night that really didn't get old. I'd also like to give an honorary mention to their neighbours, who were nice enough to invite us to the beach meetup every Friday.
In their neighbourhood you can tell there's a true sense of community.

All in all, we are really happy to have met Andy, Brigid and Rikki. We are really blessed to have made new friends in them, it was a wonderful way to close out our Canadian trip. We would definitely recommend them to prospective pet sitters.

We really enjoyed our sit in France looking after Zak and Luna. Vanessa and Neil made us feel at home immediately - and the rumours are true, Vanessa is an amazing cook. They are an extremely interesting, generous and warm couple and we really enjoyed spending time with them before and after the sit - so much so that we spent a few days longer than planned with them. We loved spending time with Zak and Luna - they are both sweethearts and we found it adorable that Luna came for walks with us. Having a swimming pool was definitely a bonus! We loved chill days by the pool but there is also lots to explore in the area. Vanessa and Neil went over everything with us when we arrived and also left lots of detailed instructions for the house and garden, which we found extremely helpful. They were also really quick to respond to any queries we had. We really hope to come back in the future - thanks again Vanessa and Neil!
