I don't even know how to begin describe this absolutely AMAZING house sit! First of all, Judy met us on the driveway with a big hug! Big plus for me! Then, we got to meet sweet Hunter and Ginger and fell in love right away! They have a lot of energy when they first meet you and jumped up, but once that was out of the way they were more calm. (Personally, I loved it!) Ginger loves to put her head between your legs upon greeting. So cute! Then we entered Judy and Ged's gorgeous home! It was like a Bed and Breakfast! Beautifully decorated and immaculate! Judy had made space in the pantry and the fridge for all of our food. Our bedroom looked like it was out of a magazine - with a king size sleep number bed and lots of drawers for our clothes and room in the closet for our hanging items. Judy and Ged walked us around the entire home giving us detailed instructions for care for the dogs and for the garden area as well. The garden is gorgeous and extensive! I worried about getting enough water on all the plants during the heat of the summer days, but they all seemed to do ok. It was so peaceful sitting out on the back patio and listening to the birds! Then we took a walk around the neighborhood with the dogs and got to meet the many kind and friendly neighbors. Even during our stay, we would meet neighbors who extended a warm welcome. Hunter and Ginger liked to walk at a good pace during their morning and evening walks. I think we could have slowed down and they would have complied, but we enjoyed going at the pace they seemed to prefer. Even with rabbits, other dogs, and squirrels they responded very well on the leash! In the evenings, they would sleep in the den, but we found it best to leave the chair in front of the door. Otherwise, clever Ginger would push her way out and join us in bed. Our last evening, she even made it past the chair, but we couldn't resist letting them sleep with us. They were so fun to snuggle! Big, but precious!! Ged put down the bikes for us and each morning I would ride on the bike paths to Dolphin Head (a flat 3.5 mile ride down and another 3.5 miles back.) I think I only missed doing this one day. My absolutely favorite morning activity (after feeding/walking the dogs, feeding the birds, and watering the flowers.) We were also given a pass for the swimming pool which has a lazy river. It is a FANTASTIC pool and I could hardly pull my daughter away! Judy communicated during our stay which was helpful and lovely! I came to love both Judy and Ged even though we weren't with them! My daughter even said Judy could be like a grandmother to her - so sweet! We miss Judy and Ged's home and miss Hunter and Ginger so much! We would ABSOLUTELY love to come back to stay! Although you would be blessed to house sit for Hunter and Ginger and Judy and Ged, we secretly hope we get all the upcoming house sits!! Such a wonderful experience!! We miss it all!
Jasmin’s place was lovely, it’s in the perfect location and her little dog Otis is so sweet and well behaved. Jasmin very generously let me stay an extra night after she returned and let me leave my bag there while I travels to another city. She is very kind, a good communicator and it was a perfect house sit. I would definitely recommend this house sit, you will be very comfortable and happy staying here and watching her sweet pup. Thanks for everything, Jasmin!
Adorable cozy apartment. Was very clean and well taken care of, I loved being there. Incredible location. Walking distance to Mississippi and Williams and a very quick drive/long walk to get to Alberta. I highly recommend. But definitely best if you are staying there with another person. Or if you plan to stay in a lot/are doing activities where you can take a dog with you. Dragon is a very sweet and smart dog but is still very young and needs lots of attention and exercise. It was a lot when it was just me but much more manageable when my partner came over and had 2 of us to entertain him
