When Peter and I cared for Windy the sheep and Burley the budgie, Felicity and Marius were in the process of relocating from Victoria to their new home in Saddleworth. Despite their incredibly busy time we were extremely well prepared for the housesit. Felicity and I had a thorough phone conversation beforehand and we understood the needs of their beloved pets and home. Their character filled home is in an interesting location and we enjoyed exploring the area. We, my daughter Maxime and I, had a wonderful time at Romainmotier. Gioia and her daughter Amber are wonderful people and very attentive hosts. They gave us a very warm welcome, so that we immediately felt at home. We also have taken Tchouki, Prince George and Coquette in our hearts. Tchouki is a very intelligent dog and it was a big pleasure for me walking with him. He showed me the entire area so we don't have to take a route twice. With this house sit we have made new friends and we look forward to seeing each other again. Thank you very much for everything.
Great sit. Karen and Lance are experienced hosts who provide everything a sitter could want or need. Their communication is thorough and timely. Their home is lovely and comfortable. They make a sitter feel welcome and supported. Little Bear is an easygoing cat who is happy to be brushed and have play time or to curl up for a cat nap. The home and location are perfect for exploring and enjoying Portland. No car needed. I hope to return.
What a lovely lovely lovely stay at Shepherds Lodge with the spotty dog named Blue and his kind owner Jean! Blue is soft like a bunny rabbit and snuggly! He knows what he wants so once you learn his language, his needs are super simple! Their field is enclosed making it a very safe space to play with Blue so he can run free! Since Jean uses a nose harness for Blue due to his size, our walks were super enjoyable and beautiful! The house is as charming as its owner! I will miss Jean and Blue and look forward to going back!
Smithers is the sweetest cat to sit for, and followed us around the condo to sit on our laps or sleep with us. He is entertaining when he plays with his toy collection and loves to drink from the bathroom faucet. Also loves to warm his little bum in front of the gas fireplace. Alexandre and family have a beautiful condo located just across the street from Science World and Olympic Village and around the corner from the Skytrain Station, making travel to and from very easy. Nice walk on the seawall to Granville island or Stanley Park. Would definitely sit for Alexandre again! Laura and Thomson Christopher Farquhar
Elise and Harvey were fantastic hosts! They have a very comfortable home in a great quiet location but very close to all Aventura has to offer. Levon and Bennie were a treat to spend time with! Levon took a little time to warm up but they were incredibly easy to watch and spend time with—more like cats really! :-) One pro-tip is that if they wake you up in the middle of the night it's because they want to go under the covers ;-) Communication was easy, directions were clear, and I'd look forward to doing this sit again!
