Caitlin
We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend with Duncan and Freddie. We walked, we played with toys, we laid in the sun, and we napped quite a bit. These two buddies were very fun and easy to take care of. Caitlin and Spencer opened up their home to us like we were old friends. The home was very comfortable, conveniently located, and within a gated community. Food trucks were available on Friday and Saturday evenings to serve the neighborhood. A nice gym was available in the community center. This was our first sit with trusted Housesitters and it was a great one! Thanks Caitlin and Spencer!

TRACEY
We met Tracey who was a nice friendly lady. The house is nice, clean and modern, Wifi, Sky TV, small garden area, quiet and with an outdoor hotub, if you like that sort of thing. The two cats were no problem to look after, one cat is very quiet and shy and the other is outgoing and vocal. Gloucester town is within a short bus or cycle ride or maybe a 20 minute walk. There are plenty of amenities closer by also. I would recommend this as a good housesit to anybody who wants to stay around Gloucester.

Anneliese
I recently house-sat for Anneliese over the weekend, and unfortunately, my experience fell far short of expectations.

While Anneliese was initially friendly and communicative, the condition of the property upon my arrival was disappointing.

The house was not as described – it was unkempt, with bits scattered across the floor, a dirty bathroom sink, and a broken toilet seat. Though Anneliese informed me about the broken toilet seat on the morning of my arrival, the overall cleanliness of the house was subpar, with clothes strewn about and food stains on the cushions in the lounge. This lack of upkeep made my stay uncomfortable and unsettling.

Additionally, I encountered challenges with Cheddar, the cat. While Anneliese did not disclose this beforehand, Cheddar's behavior was intimidating, as he showed aggression when approached and swiped at me multiple times. Such information would have been valuable to know prior to my arrival.

I am hesitant to leave a negative review, but it's important for future sitters to be aware of these issues. I hope this feedback can contribute to improvements for the next guest, ensuring a more pleasant experience.

Jaime
We really enjoyed this housesit.
Jamie was very thoughtful and welcoming, the cats were a delight!
The house is comfortable and had everything we needed.
Each cat had their own personality and we enjoyed a lot their company.
Taro is a gymnast, she like to climb things and is very sweet.
Nina is affectioned and wanted to sleep with us every night.
Nacho is a sweet cat, who loves attention and likes to sleep with us as well.
Hazel is a kitten that had just been adopted and we struggled a bit with play aggression but learned our ways and played a lot with her. She is a sweetie too.
Couldn't recommend it more!
Thank you :)
Hazel kitten and we struggled a bit with play aggression in the beginning but leaned our ways with her.

Alyssa
Alyssa and Toby were the most trusting sitters we've had, they even let us enter the house and gave us the lock on the door for us to get in when they weren't there! We were a little apprehensive about how this would make the dogs feel given they had never met us but as soon as we walked through the door we realised they were 2 of the most docile dogs we've ever met and had nothing to worry about.

They equipped us with everything we'd need downstairs in the basement, the coolest area of the house which was very appreciated with the very hot weather we've had through the last week, extra blankets were given too incase we needed them. Thus, the kitchen was fully equipped too. Access to Netflix and other streaming apps were given for both tvs!

Alyssa and Toby were always available to chat and one of them would respond to our occasional message almost instantly via WhatsApp - very approachable and easy to talk to. Alyssa too gave us many tips on our ongoing roadtrip too which was greatly appreciated!

The dogs, what can I say? Dodge and Jersey were friendly, calm and cuddly. They had a fairly set routine when it came to food but other than that were happy to be walked whatever the time which always would mean we'd get them out when we woke and enjoyed the views of Fish Creek pp and then again after dinner to watch the sunset the other end - endless and beautiful walking opportunities. They don't particularly like dogs and tend to bark if dogs are passing but making them sit before they passed always helped the barking and or would stop it entirely! We'd let them out during the day multiple times, for Jersey to have a play around with her blue spikey ball, and dodge to sunbathe mostly! They were very well behaved dogs, would never say no to a cuddle and we were lucky to see the playful but rare bouncy side of Dodge on the last day where he had the zoomies after walk time. Jersey has eye drops and she never hesitated to let us handle these every couple of days.

This was hands down the easiest of dogsits we've had since arriving in Canada and this is our 4th since April!

Thanks again, Rebecca and Chris
