Sara & Reed warmly greeted us upon arrival. I would highly recommend staying on their property if you're looking for a farm experience. They have such a beautiful lifestyle and I am so grateful I was able to stay here. This experience was truly once in a lifetime. The guest bed was extremely comfortable! I think about and miss the whole gang often. πππΎ These animals are living their best life thanks to Sara & Reed. Sara was great at communicating with us and made sure we were confident with the routine prior to their departure. Sara's mother also offered to help come over one day so we could go out on a longer day trip. All the animals were so happy to lucky and incredibly sweet. I wish I lived closer so I could come over and see them LOL.
We had such a wonderful time looking after Poppy and Zara. They are both such lovely dogs and both so sweet in their own ways. Poppy is full of energy and loved sprinting everywhere and Zara is just as happy to walk along with us at her own pace. The house is beautiful and we felt very welcome and comfortable. We took lots of walks around the property and also loved discovering the area. Communicating with Charlotte was quick and easy before the sit as well as during the sit. We feel very lucky to have had such a great experience and already miss the dogs so much!
Isi is a very loving cat, it is amazing how sweet he was when I arrived: he came directly to me and sit in my legs to be pet :) he is very easy and love watching animations, we loved Shrek with Donkey and Pet. I have spent a lovely week with him in beautiful appartment of Betta in very nice area of Zurich. Betta is very kind with very smooth communication. this is an amazing catsitting there.
This was my first sit through Trustedhousesitters, and unfortunately it did not really go as I expected through some miscommunication. Firstly about Chelsea and Luva: they are very cute and cuddly dogs. Paola wishes you to let Chelsea go off the leash in the Amsterdamse Bos as she has a lot of energy. I would really recommend finding the most secluded spot in the forest, since Chelsea is easily distracted by other dogs (starts barking a lot) or bikes/geese ;-). Paola did not tell me where I could best do this, so I recommend asking her this beforehand since I had to do some exploring. Paola asked me to be there at 8:00 exactly, which I was, after she only left me in at 8:15 which I thought was rude since I had to pay extra for a bike when my train was cancelled. I told Paola it was my first sit so I entered it with blank expectations. She told me about the dogs, but nothing about the cleaning expectations. I asked her if I had to bring my own bedlinnen, which I did not have to. But when I arrived, I found the bedlinnen full of hairs and dirt since I assume the dogs sleep on the bed. I removed them and put it in the corner for her to wash, and a friend brought me an extra set of linnen. A few days after the sit I got quite some agressive texts from Paola, why I diddnt wash the sheets. I did not know this was expected of me, since I just stayed one night, and I did not sleep on them anyways. In any case, I learnt a lot from this sit to ask more questions beforehand :-).
This was a wonderful housesit - Christine's apartment is lovely and she was very well-prepared and left me all the information I could need to look after her home and the kittens. Ono, Kyara and Onchao... oh my. They are three of the most adorable kittens I've met, so be careful how long you stay, because they'll make it very hard to leave. Ono was so friendly and active, Onchao and Kyara were both friendly but a little more chilled, and the three of them get along so well they made it a breeze to look after them. Christine's apartment was also very convenient to explore Luxembourg from. I would definitely recommend this sit.

Sue Kent came to meet me and Peanut before placing him. She spent more than an hour getting to know him and asking pertinent questions so that she could find the right match for him. He is always delighted to see her and enjoys his βholidaysβ. Sue has been really helpful to me, flexible and accommodating with my travelling needs, which can sometimes change. She sends me frequent updates as I get rather bereft when Peanut is away. I have no hesitation in recommending this branch of Digs For Dogs and Sue in particular.
So glad I found Sue and Digs for dogs! My dog is too nervous for kennels and I hadn't had a holiday for over a year due to having nowhere to put her safely (she cannot share a friends home if have dogs or cats). Digs for Dogs was the PERFECT solution! Sue spent quality time getting to know Baby, and my preferences and fears. Went through the process beautifully. Sue found an incredible host, all vetted, they adored dogs, had a big garden to play and lots of fun walking places. While away I thought she'd pine for me - but oh no! I got daily videos and photos of her having so much fun! Kissing the host, playing, generally loving life! I was 'so' relived and had nothing to worry about. Sue is remarkable at picking the best people for your dog and reassuring you. All Covid safe, checklists so I didn't forget anything and made the whole experience feel like it was a VIP bespoke service. I will absolutely use Digs for Dogs everytime now I've found them. Thank you from me and Baby Blue the Staffie xx
Daisy Drop had the best time with her hosts on her holiday from Digs for Dogs.. she had lots of attention and love which was really reassuring whilst we had our break in Ibiza ... She had a trip out on the tram, lovely long walks.. new tricks and pamper time! Thank you for looking after her x
Brilliant people who are truly passionate about dogs and also helping others. I met Tracy & Sally volunteering at Heaton Park this morning and I'm definitely going to help them promote this business.
Tracy from Riff n Ralf has been looking after my cat Archie since he was a tiny kitten, and I'm so glad that I found her! She clearly loves animals and I know that Archie is in safe and caring hands whenever I'm away. She sends regular updates and photos when she visits and she spends time with him rather than just popping by to feed him. I honestly couldn't recommend Tracy and Riff n Ralf highly enough!
Highly recommend Riff n Ralf! Tracy and Sally are passionate about pets and are great with our pup Ralph, he adores his home visits and walks. They are incredibly accommodating and reliable and we love that they go the extra mile, sending photos and updates after every visit. Ralph has loved his puppy play dates that they have organised and especially his goody bag he received at Christmas! Cannot recommend highly enough!
We feel very lucky to have found Riff and Ralf! They are just incredible and it is wonderful to see our dog Reggie having a fantastic walk and making lots of new friends. They go above and beyond and have provided us with valuable support and advice! Reggie loves his walks and we love that he is so happy! Tracey is the best! Thank you for all that you do! Highly recommend Riff and Ralf!
I cannot recommend Riff N Ralf pet care enough, they are amazing with my dog Teddy. They pay special attention to what he likes to do to ensure he has the best experience when he is out with them, he always comes home very happy and ready to nap after a busy trip out. They are real animal lovers and it is very clear that the welfare and happiness of the animal clients they have is top priority over everything else.
Sally and Tracy were brilliant with my dog Monty, when they took him for walks and spent time with him for the short period Monty needed them. They are both super friendly and run a professional dog walking service. I would recommend them to anyone who needs a pet looking after. Thanks once again.
Sally at Riff n Ralf walks my dog Archie several times a week and I couldn't trust anybody more with him. She is super reliable and walks him rain or shine, sends updates so I know what fun he's been up to, and Archie clearly loves her. Thanks Sally!
Tracy's looked after our cat during two separate holidays now and I can confidentially say she is the perfect sitter! She is super friendly and organised. She popped round before we went away to discuss the cat's food arrangements and other routines before coming back twice a day whilst we were away. On the first occasion, we'd only had our cat a couple of months when we left her with Tracy but we felt totally reassured as she was such a natural with her and kept us up-to-date with messages and photos on WhatsApp. I highly recommend Tracy to anyone looking for a pet sitter.
I 1st heard of Riff N Ralf from my sister-in-law because she contacted them to look after her dog Ben while they went away &Ben was a rescue with his little problems & they had no problems with him..so I have Max a Morkie & he was getting lots of little walks but he was so lively he needed a bit more fun & boy!! Does he have fun with Sally &he's met Tracey too.. he runs free geys wet, muddy , nothing is too much trouble..they are fabulous & so caring & he recognises Sally every time she comes..he's one happy pooch.... xx
I have known Sally for many years and it was a natural and logical decision to ask her to take care of our cat, Marlin. We were away for 4 days and Sally visited twice a day, providing regular updates and photos of Marlin. It made my wife and I feel at ease knowing that Marlin was in such safe hands. Thank you, Sally, and Riff N Ralf Pet Care!
Second time Dianne has looked after my cat (2 x home visits a day) in last 8 months or so - again she was absolutely fantastic, did everything I asked for & more. Updates, photos & videos provided as promised, (house looked after too, bins put out & collected), & most importantly of course, my cat who doesn't really tend to take to people quickly (he won't go near my brother who he has met multiple times!) loved her, & I have come home from holiday to a very happy cat. Difficult to express the peace of mind I had on holiday knowing Dianne was looking after him after using a cattery in the past (nothing wrong with catteries, but my previous cat never did very well there & it was a lovely cattery - to have your pet looked after in his/her own home just reduces the stress on your pet hugely in my experience). Very reasonable rates too, if you need a pet sitter - rest assured Dianne will treat your pet like her own, & I have already booked her for my next break. Going forward I will be checking Dianne is free before I book any other holidays! Thanks so much Dianne! π
We love Diane! She is amazing, we have had our rescue dog for around 6-7 weeks now, she was so patient and considerate as at first Roscoe was very unsure of strangers! He now loves his walks with Diane and I get to see his waggy tail on the camera when she comes in! She takes him on solo walks to all new places to build his confidence and works so well with our shift patterns and lifestyles! Wouldnβt want anyone else walking my Roscoe! πππ
Dids dog walking services are simply wonderful!! Dianne honestly cares about the upkeep of your dog. She is confident to handle even my crazy one year old Labradoodle, and brings her back happy and well walked ever time. Canβt recommend highly enough. Thank you Dianne from me and Miley.
How could we not use your service when you raised our pup from birth?! She loves her walks with you, and your commitment to her and all your animals is a credit to you. Fantastic service. Always on time, keep us informed, and keep us updated with photos and little videos. Thank you πππ» β¦
If I could give more stars then I would.Diane has a special bond with my dog who always looks forward to her coming to take him on his next adventure. We are always kept up to date with photos and the route walked.Excellent service and very happy puppy and owners.Thank you for being so amazing!
Excellent my dog Bo loves Hellen πππ β¦
Such a brilliant find, our three nervous dogs had a fantastic stay and we received daily updates and photos whilst we were away. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again after being let down last minute elsewhere. Also helps that the guy running the kennels is very warm and friendly. Really superb to deal with. Thank you mate.
This is the best place we have ever experienced in terms of dog care. Our German Shepherd is very reactive and difficult to manage. James is fantastic with him, has him socialising with other dogs every day (something we thought no longer possible) and gives him so much exercise, sends us photos and gives him training and brushes him, and we can see how much he adores dogs himself. It feels like we are leaving him with a family friend to look after him, rather than boarding kennels, because of how much we love our dog going there. I could not recommend this place enough, not to mention how reasonably priced it is!
James is so good at what he does. My little dog actually looks forward to staying at Hareshill. Ellie always comes back happy ,healthy and well cared for. I can't recommend James any higher. He is professional and caring and we can holiday free in the mind our little dog will be happy and safe. Well done
Brilliant! Have a GS and he can be a bit off an a**. Tike for a quick visit and was assured that the dog was just nervous and he could take him and even have him ( dog) be ok with his dog.. and he sure did it... Thank you very much and I highly recommend this kennel for big dogs. My dog is on the left...
I cannot recommend this kennels enough! Third time we've been! When we approached to drop Webster off he ran in with his tail wagging! That to me says it all! And as we all say that dogs are the best judge of character! Today when I went to pick him up , I watched him playing with his tail wagging before I let him see me! Leaving your dog in kennels is hard, but knowing they are happy where they are means you can relax! Last year unfortunately as it was last minute and unavailability i had to take him to another kennel(not gonna name), but I cried all the way home after I picked him up! We now book here before we book our holiday, because I know Webster is HAPPY and cared for! Thank you for looking after him x
Very impressed for the care and attention that the owner of the kennel spend with his pets guests. Strongly raccomended, I leaved with James my French bulldog and very, very happy of the professionality and service received. Thanks
We would recommend this kennel for anyone who wants their dog looked after like they are at home. Our frenchie is terrible for kennel guarding and can be snappy with people he doesnβt know, he was with James for 5 nights and when we picked him up he was so happy and kept going to James for cuddles π₯° We will not put our dog anywhere else. We cannot thank James enough for the care he gave our dog.
My dog has just stayed at Hareshill for 8 nights and he loved every minute. James and team have taken really good care of him, I have received regular updates and I wouldn't hesitate to book my dog or recommend any of my friends to use Hareshill. Thank you, see you in December!
I was so nervous about putting Elsa in boarding kennels as sheβs never been away from me before but James put my mind at ease I was sent regular updates about Elsa and you can tell she was well looked after and had a fantastic time. I will definitely be using Hareshill boarding kennels in the future.
In the past couple of weeks I've left my dogs twice with James and I can honestly say I fully recommend his services. I've got 2 covid puppies that weren't socialized, so they are always nervous and anxious around other people and dogs. James has taken them in and treated them as if they were his own, and this has made all the difference. The dogs aren't secluded to a tiny kennel all day long. There is a focal area outside, with loads of space, toys and agility equipment where dogs are free to roam around. They are taken for walks outside and they are genuinely taken care of. James has even taken the time and patience to introduce my dogs to the 'social crew' and this has given them a sense of belonging to the pack they had never experienced before. It's amazing to see how my dogs have joined the gang and happily play and run around without being scared, barky or nervous. Thank you, James! For treating my dogs as if they were your own. It was impressive to realise how excited they were to see you the last time I dropped them off. Seeing them jump up and down to get your attention and cuddles speaks volumes of your talent and professional approach.
