Andrea was the dream House-sitter for our first time. We only recently joined TH and have been finding our way, we were nervous about what to expect. We have never left our dogs or home with anyone that wasn’t family or a close friend before, and Andrea has given us so much confidence that when you are honest and upfront on your listing, then find the right match, it works! From her application to completing the sit, Andrea was amazing. She is so warm and easy to chat with, organised, communicates clearly and stays in contact. Andrea was happy to arrive the night before we left, she was able to meet our dogs and we felt we could do a handover that wasn’t rushed. She sent us WhatsApp updates, our dogs looked so happy and relaxed in her company. She clearly loves animals and was wonderful with our older girl and our rather mischievous younger cockapoo. In fact, when we got home, our cockapoo was following Andrea around and not us! Praise indeed. Our home was immaculate, our dogs were happy, Andrea had even prepared us lovely meal for the evening we came home. We had invited her to stay an extra night because that fitted with her onward plans and we had a super evening, chatting over the delicious food she kindly made for us. Andrea is a lovely person, genuine, such good company and trustworthy. We met through this App, but have no doubt we will stay in touch as friends!

If Ana happens to apply to any of your dates, confirm her sit as soon as possible! I know it's easier to just post 5 stars for sitters, but this one is truly legitimate. We lost one of our last two herd goats just before Ana came, leaving one very senior goat on his own. I went back and forth between traveling and canceling to stay with him and figure out his best options. The trip was critical to make and with Ana's assurances, I left for two weeks. My little had the best companionship, the best care, very attentive eyes on him, and was never alone for too long, helping him to adjust to his new normal. This platform is great for people to travel and visit new places; however, animal care often comes in second for the explorer as they enjoy their new surroundings. Ana found the way to enjoy time for herself yet keep animal care as her priority. My senior pup loved having Ana's little senior pup, Peanut, in the house. When I come home from traveling, I can tell in an instant if my animals were satisfied with their care, and these two were happy little campers! Sadly, our summers include wicked wildfires. We had one break out within 2 miles of the house--on the day I was traveling coast to coast. When I landed and spoke with Ana, thankfully the fire was under control and evacuation was not required; however, she already had contacts established for transport for my goat and she had the car packed with all she would need for their care should evacuation been necessary. Having a wildfire that close to your home is completely unnerving, especially when you are not home. It took some time for me to settle my nerves but it was NOT because I lacked confidence in Ana. Her communication was fantastic. Again, explorers often say they will send updates daily or send photos and then they go MIA periodically. Ana sent me daily updates, as I had requested, and sent photos. I could tell by their energy in the photos that all was well. We really didn't know how my senior goat would do on his own and with someone new. Ana and Pippin quickly became tender friends and he felt safe with her. Pinkie pup loved all of the attention she got. This is a long review but it is important for me to write it. We all put a lot of trust in the person coming in to our homes and caring for our littles while we are away. On some level, we have to surrender and trust all will be well upon our return. This is the first time I can say that I could focus on the difficult task that requires me to travel and not have a constant worry running in the background. Personally, it has been lovely getting to know Ana. She is a very kind, compassionate, and generous person. She has keen eyes when it comes to all the details and the sweet care we hope to receive for our littles. And we really really hope she wants to come back for another visit!

Andrew & Lorraine
Lorraine and Andrew's house was wonderful, cosy and clean in the beautiful surroundings of County Wicklow.
They extended their hospitality to a dinner before the stay, and they are lovely people.
I loved having the opportunity to take care of Toby and Macy, I literally fell in love with them! ❤️
Five star experience!

Absolutely loved our time at this sit. Something in the photos and description drew me in, and we were not disappointed. Jo and Ali are lovely and easy going, yet organised too.
The differing characters of Daisy, Zak and Charlie were wonderful, and their playtime was such fun, even if a little dominated by Daisy’s prowess, on everything frankly!. Personally it was lovely to reconnect with a cat again, and Pumpy was a sweetheart, knowing exactly what she wanted and when, but ever so easy and content, as are the dogs. Beautiful home, garden, people and animals, friendly neighbours, and a tranquil environment that just makes you feel great.
The nightlife seems to simply be an owl who hoots just as you try to go to sleep, and the sound of the cuckoo ( inside and out) was delightful. Being in the country isn’t for everyone, but with a car free walk from the garden through the woods each day, and a frog chorus by eve as we sat out for supper ; we felt really lucky to be staying away from it all.
Would have no hesitation in recommending this sit, and would love to return, I’m sure each season would offer something new, but the fantastic welcome by all would be a constant.

Lotus and Lilac are the two most adorable cats I’ve ever watched! They’re very independent however they love tickles and head scratches from time to time! I had the best time watching them. Leigh and her partner were also so welcoming and sweet! They had a bottle of wine for me during my stay which I thought was very thoughtful. They left clear instructions and were so easy to communicate with. The neighborhood is also beautiful! Close to tons of restaurants and coffeee shops.definitely one of my favorite sits!
