We had a lovely time with Kip. He was sweet, cuddly, happy, obedient and very easy to walk around the neighborhood. His human parents clearly adore him. Communication was excellent and their home was lovely. Quiet and accessible. We would love to care for Kip again.
Margeaux and Barbara were the sweetest dogs, well-behaved, quiet, and cuddly. The neighbourhood was beautiful and the bus stops conveniently accessible. The Walnut Tree Restaurant was great. Reece, the border, was quiet and respectful of my privacy. Communication was easy with WhatsApp.
Everything was as advertised. Except Salem. He was even better than advertised. A very independent and calm cat. He warms up fairly quickly and kept me company at night. Avonlea was a great communicator and I felt welcome in their space. I would be lucky to ever watch Salem again.
I had a lovely time with these handsome & friendly Marmalade boys. With a warm welcome from Sally & Ian and a comprehensive welcome folder I was all set. Chivers especially kept me company much of the time, and they both enjoyed attention & a brush. The house is wonderful, comfortable and light with all mod cons. It was an easy walk into town or to the rail station. I would love to go back and thoroughly recommend a sit here.
Our sit for Jacob and Tiffany was so enjoyable! They are the kindest people and have fantastic communication. Zuko and Namaari were wonderful animals to care for. Zuko is such a happy and loving pup, especially once he warms up to you. Namaari loves to play and can be very affectionate. The home was really comfortable and in a great location for airport access and exploring Seattle via light rail. We hope to sit here again and would definitely recommend to anyone!
Staying at Marlene's home was a very special experience in so many ways. She was so friendly and welcoming, and we had such a lovely time chatting with her the night before she left for her trip. She made us a delicious dinner which we enjoyed over great conversation. She is an extremely talented artist whose works in its various forms from sculptures to paintings are found throughout the house. Being so artistic, it is not surprising how beautifully her home is decorated. It is also spotless, extremely comfortable and spacious. Located right in the mountains, the views are stunning and there is a beautiful hiking path a couple of minutes walk away that we took the dogs on daily. The internet is pretty solid for such a rural locale and we didn't have any issues with it. While in a very quiet, secluded area, you are only about 20 minutes away from the supermarket, restaurants,etc. Missy, Joe and Lily were a pleasure to watch and we had so much fun with them. Missy is older and very chill. Joe is a big mush and so sweet. Lily is a very energetic dog and it is important she gets lots of playtime outside in addition to her daily walk. She loves being around people and will want to sleep in the bed with you, which we didn't find a problem. They are all very good on the leash. Lily pulls a bit but because she is a smaller dog, it didn't make walking her more difficult. So long as they get their daily exercise, they relax the rest of the time. Once they pass out in the evenings, you can almost forget they are there in the room with you! They eat breakfast around 7 am and are very good at waiting while their food is prepared. They were a fun bunch. We had such a wonderful time here and would definitely come back for sure!

Fabulous personal visiting sitting service! Currently on my second cat cared for by Tatiana while we are away with no worry or stress. It’s not just a visit to feed and scoop the litter tray but time spent with your pet and interaction in line with their preferences. The regular updates let me know my boy is OK while we are gone. The price is great for the service you get. I trust Tatiana with my boy and in my home without hesitation!
This lovely lady looks after our lovely cat every time we go away. She advises us, gives her plenty of time and attention etc When we return everything is all tide and most importantly our little cat is happy as Larry and not at all bothered that we’ve been away. Will always continue to us!
I highly recommend Tatiana. She has an obvious love of dogs and is well versed in their behaviour. Our bouncy Lab took to her straight away and not only did his behaviour improve but so did ours following some training advice from Tatiana - so you can teach old dogs new tricks! She is so well organised, punctual, and gives a great service, which we will be using again. We have now used Tatiana three times and will continue to do so. She provides such an excellent service.
Finding the right pet sitter is difficult. Not only do you need to trust them with your beloved pets, but you also need to have trust letting them into your home when you are not around. After reaching out to Tatiana via e-mail, she was quick to respond and provide several alternatives of when she could come and meet with us and our dog Oscar. It's immediately obvious how much she loves animals. She gave him the right amount of attention, but still focussed on going through the process and paper work with us. I felt confident that she would treat him like she would her own dog. Tatiana walked our dog every day this week. She provided text updates after each walk, with valuable information, and confirmation that all was OK. We will be using her service again already next week! Highly experienced, completely reliable and totally professional services provided; ranging from dog walking, feeding, vet visits, etc. Equally importantly is having a high level of trust as you are allowing someone into your home when you're not around. Diesel Dog and I can highly recommend Tatiana to anyone needing support to look after their pets at very reasonable rates. Diesel goes bananas when Tatiana arrives to take him out; I'm slightly envious of his love and affection for her :)
Peggy our Bedlington Terrier loves going out with Tatiana several times per week and loves spending times with other dogs on the walk. Peggy started with Tatiana when she was a puppy and it was really helpful that she grew up being able to socialise with other dogs. Tatiana has taken our dog Bobbi for regular walks over the past few weeks to help us out. She is an excellent dog handler and I have learned a lot from her. Bobbi adores her and enjoys his time with her. She is very calm and easily controls a dominant dog who does not like to walk on a lead. I have relied on her and she has not let me down. Lynne and the team provide an excellent service, the dogs clearly enjoy the experience as seen in the pupdates which are sent on request (being sensible of course with the times of requests). They are dog owners and are very responsible. Only issue is very popular and you need to get you booking in early. Strongly recommend.

“We Love Pets Mansfield” and specifically Mandy & Jason recently cared for our two 3 year old British Short Hair cats twice a day whilst we were away for two weeks. Although outdoor cats, they remained inside and at home for the two weeks. Both cats looked incredibly well, content and had clearly been properly looked after once we arrived back home. Feeding stations and litter tray areas were immaculately clean and we were sent photos and short video clips of Belle and Blu pretty much every day. We could not have had two nicer people attending the property; both clearly love all animals, were attentive and spent time on visits interacting, entertaining and playing with our pets. Highly recommended; we will be using “We Love Pets Mansfield” again in September. Thank you so much Mandy & Jason!
Mandy and Jason looked after our young cocker spaniel for 2 weeks. It was our first time away from him but we felt at complete ease knowing he was safe and being cared for. He had plenty of exercise and fun during his time there and we got updates with photos. He fell in love with them on first meet and you can just tell they are great people. I'm so grateful to them both for everything. I would highly recommend them.
If you ever need a pet sitting service then Jason and Mandy at We Love Pets are definitely the people to get in touch with. We have had them pet sit both our cat Rio and our Rattie Norris several times this year and it’s less stressful for both of them being able to stay in their home surroundings whilst we go away. They both love Jason and Mandy and our Cat Rio who is not a peopley cat will always call us a liar and fuss round them both when they call in. Its also a breath of fresh air to have a pet sitter that will also look after a rattie as alot dont but they look after all different pets not just cats and dogs. I wouldn't have anyone else look after our Cat and Rattie ♥️

Dex came for his first holiday stay & I felt comfortable leaving him with Mandy & Jason. I received photos of Dex looking happy which made me feel at ease. Any queries they had they asked. They were great being able to give him his daily medication. He came home with no signs of stress(weight loss & stress lick sores) like he has when stayed in kennels which tells me he felt happier. I'd definitely recommend and visit again.
We absolutely LOVE we love pets. Darren has been so helpful and kind since the beginning, and our dog goose absolutely adores him. We get photos from his walk each day which is so nice. And it’s so reassuring to know they’re first aid trained. Definitely would recommend to anyone and I wouldn’t go anywhere else!!
Used a dog boarding service for the first time and chose Mandy and Jason to look after Stan for a few days. Had a meet and greet before I went on holiday to get to know them, for Stan to meet them and discuss his feeding/walking routine. While I was away they sent pics every day which put me at ease. Happy to recommend their service and will use again in the future.

This is a great place to board your pooch whilst away on holiday. Great service from Abi and the team and the accommodation is fantastic. Nothing is too much trouble. Great peace of mind to know your beloved family member is being well looked after.
Wish I could put the dogs thoughts in writing, let’s just say the moment they realise they are going to Oaksedge Farm they are all excited and happy - normally I don’t even get a goodbye from them 🙄 Only downside is if you are not a confident driver the access might be a little tricky but nothing you wouldn’t expect in the Peak District
The care and professionalism of this place needs no mention ....exceptional is to weak to describe it. Recently my old man (Gunter) took his last breaths with Abi and Leah by his side,apart from me and Rach I could not think of anyone I would want by his side at the end...thank you both for everything. I have just collected my little sausage dog from his 3rd stay at Oaksedge farm. Its a truly lovely place where I know he is looked after very well.. I'm very protective over Lincoln and he's never stayed with anyone apart from family. However, I instantly got a good feeling when I looked around the farm and could tell that animals come first!! I would never take Lincoln anywhere else. Thank you to everyone who looked after Lincoln xx!

Amazing place for our dogs, First class luxury & care, our 4 dogs loved the stay. We felt so at ease with daily photo's to see them playing on the paddock.
Genuinely a brilliant place for your pups, young and not so waggy to chill being looked after by the best team led by a champion. For many years, our own several hundred mile trips to drop off and then collect have been nothing compared to the comfort the pack of three enjoy. They know when we arrive and go crazy to get in and are well refreshed when we collect the reluctant returners.
Our Jack Russell stayed at Oaksedge with Abi and her team for 12 nights. The care and service was absolutely fantastic. Abi sent approximately 25 pictures to our daughter (the bride) every day. This was so lovely and very reassuring for us all. After the 12 night stay our 12 year old dog came home looking healthier than ever. Can't thank Abi enough. I would definitely use Oaksedge again without hesitation.
This is the only place my wife will leave her babies sorry Dog's! Abby is great with them especially as they are both rescue dog's and Scruff can be a handful! But they love coming here. I really thought hard about leaving this post as Abby is busy enough and we want to get our dog's in when we need to ! But she deserves the praise.
Dear Abi, Thank you for looking after me when my Mum and Dad went on holiday. I've told all my friends down the park that they should come and stay with you if their Mum and dad go away, because I went on lots of walkies and met lots of new friends. My bedroom was better than Mum and dads bedroom at home and I cant believe I had my very own Flat Screen TV. I particularly enjoyed paddling and hanging out with my mates around the bone shaped pool in the doggy garden. I cant wait to stay with you again. lots of licks and woofs Oscar
Would highly recommend for dog walking. Paige and the team offer a caring personalised service for your dog, leaving feedback on how the walk has gone. It's lovely to see the pictures on Facebook too as an extra insight. I know how much my dog loves all of the walkers as he makes such a fuss if we we see them out and about, which is a stark contrast to a previous company we used. I come home to a happy and suitably tired dog!
Absolutely brilliant service, it was my two boys first time in the kennels at the grand old age of 8 and they looked very happy when I picked them up and are both lovely and clean. I was nervous to leave them but the staff kept in touch and reassured me which was lovely. I highly recommend these kennels and will return. Thank you Upperwood kennels :-)
We have used Upperwood previously for our cats so knew how great they were, but we wanted to introduce our puppy from an early age to get him used to kennel visits. We initially booked him in for a day and then 1 overnight building up to 4 nights most recently. On his first visit the staff were absolutely brilliant, knowing he hadn’t been before they suggested they take him straight into the kennels whilst I completed some form work; he was gone before I realised which made it extremely easy for me. When we collect him he comes home happy and looking really well. I would highly recommend Upperwood kennels.
We were holidaying in Derbyshire and our golden lab stayed for 2 nights to allow us to visit National Trust houses. He's 6 and it was his first time in kennels. The staff were very good and I'd definitely recommend Upperwood as a great place for your furry family members
My dog Larry always leaves happy! Have boarded him for short weekends and longer 2-3 week trips with no issues at all. Staff are lovely and welcoming and the accommodation is on acres of farmland in Derbyshire. Staff answer their phone promptly and provide pictures and updates on your animal(s) if you’re missing them. Amazing place! Thank you Upperwood.
I can highly recommend Upperwood! The staff are so lovely and clearly really know and love dogs very much. My Labrador boy has been going for day boarding with them when I need to go into work nearby for the last couple of years. He's always happy and tired when I pick him up at the end of the day. There's no one else I trust to look after him.

Checking in process was quick and easy. The staff really friendly. No frenzied barking on arrival. Dogs had their own outside space and access to grass and they have centrally heating in their sleeping space. Hopefully they won't be too cross when we get back.
Fabulous. I have used Upperwood for the last 20 years (not the same dog!) - I wouldn't take my dog anywhere else. I know that my dog is safe, happy and well cared for. I can't recommend highly enough.
This was our first time using Upperwood and also a new experience for our 1yr old Sprocker who is quite timid. Lovely pens where the dogs can see what's going on and also interact with each other (each pen has its own run with fence separating dogs from each other) This allowed Ruby to go outside when she wanted and still feel secure. She actually came back a lot more social with other dogs and I think allowing her to sniff and see other dogs with the knowledge she was safe in her run gave her the confidence boost she needed. Pricing really competitive and lovely staff. Will definitely be back next year. Thank you.
I have been a vet nurse for over 20 years, and am often asked to recommend a boarding facility. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Upperwood. My two dogs are always happy to abandon me at reception, without a backwards glance. They are always relaxed when I pick them up, and never drop weight or seem remotely concerned about anything. The staff at Upperwood are fantastic, sensible, experienced, and know the dogs inside out. I couldn’t ask for more. Thanks
