Loree did a great job looking after our pets. She was an amazing communicator. The dogs were comfortable with her right away and we felt good leaving them in her care. Our place was left tidy and neat. We would highly recommend her and would host her again.
Sitting Mochi was one of my favorites! She’s such a sweetie, very sensitive and happy. She can get pretty obsessive with her ball and rocks. Kat was also great, super chill and welcoming. Mochi can jump like a bunny, which is pretty funny. The river is right next to the house and it’s like her backyard, all the neighbors and local dogs know her. Crested Butte is a beautiful place to visit as well. Totally recommend!!
It was a pleasure to pet sit for Charlie & Jess for a long weekend! They have great communication and we easily set up arrangements prior to the sit. They were even flexible enough to let me come up earlier in the day and work from their place to ensure I arrived before they left. Their apartment is comfortable and the Oud West neighborhood is lovely and close to many popular things in Amsterdam without being right in the middle of the city. I enjoyed spending time with their sweet pets. George is such a friendly and happy dog, who loves walks in Vondelpark - but keep an eye out for any food on the ground, because he may find it before you do! Smokey Joe enjoyed cuddling and spent time every evening on my lap. He can be a bit temperamental, but so can most cats! Jess and Charlie also put together an amazingly thorough house guide, which is super helpful. I would highly recommend this sit and would definitely petsit for George & Smokey Joe again!
We had a lovely time pet sitting for Nicole and Tyler! Communication and welcome: Communication flowed well and Nicole was warm and responsive. We had a video chat to discuss beforehand and kept in contact via text and calls as needed. Nicole provided a comprehensive welcome guide with the info we needed, including recommendations for things to see and do on the island. We felt very welcome in their home, everything easy to find. Pets: All the pets are sweeties and easy to care for. Nicole provides all the info needed. Pepps is a very sweet, social and gentle boy, he needed some medication while we were there and took this very well. He appeared to enjoy hanging out with us while we were outside on the decking, or snoozing next to us in the house. Moxie is a little character, shy and more energetic compared to Pepps' relaxed confidence. She loves her food and therefore no issues getting her to come in. When outside she liked to be close by, catching bugs, or asking for belly rubs. After a day or 2 she got braver and took to sleeping on our sons bed. Spike was also very easy, just fresh water and veggies each day. He was social, easy to pet and handle. (although not needed, we enjoyed this very much) House and Location: Nicole and Tyler's place is comfortable and clean, plenty of space and light with large glass windows and nice views. Easy to find everything we needed and the hot tub was a real treat. The location is lovely, quiet with nice walks nearby, a grocery store and bus stop a few minutes walk away. The island is pretty, everything we needed nearby. It is easy to get into Stockholm, we had a car so drove to Bromma then got the T-bana (20mins) however the bus to Bromma is regular and takes about 20mins from the house. It is not necessary to have a car to enjoy this sit. We had some bad weather during the sit and curling up with the cats, a fire and a good book was kind of perfect. A thoroughly enjoyable and calm sit, if you are lucky enough to be offered to stay, snap it up!
We absolutely loved our stay with Umami! Margeaux and Pierre were fantastic hosts and we’re so glad we got the opportunity to stay there! The home is well situated and convenient to so many great things. Especially if you are a hiker you’ll be in heaven. On top of the picturesque views, Umami is such a fun kitty and he really made the stay an absolute joy. He’s playful and happy. I’m also a remote worker and the internet was great - something that I know many people need. We would return again in a heartbeat!
Fantastic sit! Loved taking care of Firrinne and Caoimhe. They are really lovely, playful and full of life. Barbara and Willie are lovely people, with great sense of humour, extremely kind and easy to talk to. They made sure I had everything I needed. The house is very cozy, full of character and very close to stunning sea views. Would definitely want to come back.
This was an amazing house-sit from start to finish! We hit it off with Jessica and Travis during our first video meeting and kept in touch with them until our arrival in Saskatchewan. We arrived a day early to meet them and to better understand the routine. This was our first time taking care of horses and we wanted to make sure that we were comfortable as well as our hosts and the horses. Previous experience with large farm animals, preferably horses, is certainly recommended. The property is gorgeous and the house is welcoming and spotless. And the animals! Three majestic horses, 2 big adorable dogs, 2 funny goats, 2 quirky and lovable house cats, a cuddly barn cat and a second timid barn cat that hid during our week there. But we knew that he was eating his food therefore we didn't worry too much. Communication before and during the house-sit was easy and open. Any questions or concerns that we had were addressed quickly. We made sure to send lots of pics of the very photogenic animals to Jessica. Our children (11 and 17) loved the responsibility of taking care of all the animals. They were rewarded with cuddles and loving nudges. If you have the opportunity to house-sit at Travis and Jessica's, we highly recommend it. It was a rewarding experience for all. We left with heavy hearts. Our family feels immensely lucky to have spent time in this scenic area, to have met this generous couple and to have taken care of such amazing animals.

Katie looked after our 3 house bunnies while we were away on holiday. She made sure she knew everything about them, nothing was too much trouble and she catered for all their needs. I would definitely recommend Hop and Hounds and I’m happy for our bunnies to be left in Katie’s care when we next go away.
Our 4 guinea pigs stayed here over Christmas and we are very glad we chose fur friends. The accomodation was more than big enough for our 4 with tunnels and hides for them. Katie was very good at communicating and the price was very reasonable. Highly recommended.
Our young baby bunnies went to stay here and were very happy and well cared for. Katie sent us some pictures during the week to reassure us all was well and when we picked them up they seemed settled and content. We will be booking them in next time we go away, thanks Katie!
Highly recommend Furfriends boarding, the care given to the animals is fantastic. Furfriends are responsive with communication, the facilities are good there's lots of space for animals, they always get to know your pet and spend time with them. My two stayed over the summer and were very well looked after, I was very impressed and now their going to stay for Christmas! Thank you Furfriends :)
