Cat Sitters in Midlothian

After my confirmed sitter had to cancel, Mairi jumped in last minute, arranged all her travel plans and got to Berlin with time to spare so that I could go on holiday as planned! Thank you Mairi for your willingness to take over when you were most needed. Mairi took excellent care of my home, my plants and of course, my pets. My older cat, who is usually cranky about having been left with a stranger for a few days, was not in the least perturbed and was very relaxed! I am grateful for that! My home was well cared for and neat and tidy when I returned. Mairi is easy to get along with , very respectful in her manner, and we had some good conversations in the short time we interacted. I can highly recommend Mairi. Thank you again for everything!

Gavin is more than excellent. We had a fun evening with Gavin before we departed, and were extremely confident that Milo and our house were in the best hands possible!. Amongst many things Gavin is a professional dog trainer, and he loves to bake bread. So not only did we come home to a tidy clean house, Milo was also better behaved on the lead, AND a delicious home made soda bread loaf was awaiting our arrival! We hope Gavin will come back one day!.

We have just returned home from a cruise, having left our four much-loved cats (and home) in the very safe hands of Maruska and Kate. The cats were not remotely bothered about our return - just really chilled out and happy - a sure sign that they had been really well cared for in our absence! Kate and Maruska also had the pleasure of having to deal with an unexpected power cut their very first night, followed by an alarm system that would not recognise the reset code, but they took it in their stride and handled the situation brilliantly. As keen gardeners, they were also happy to tend to our garden during the unseasonably hot, dry spell while we were away, which was very much appreciated - the garden looked amazing on our return. This was our first time using zeewoi, and I was probably an over-anxious cat mum with OTT comms ahead of the sit, but I needn't have worried - I couldn't have asked for a better first experience, I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Kate and Maruska as sitters, and hopefully our paths will cross again!

Katy and Aaron were extremely kind, courteous sitters as well as caring and considerate - we could tell Willow was well looked after upon our return. We would definitely recommend them and welcome them back!

It was just Angus who sat for us, not Becky, but we would be happy to welcome him back! He was very communicative and proactive in arranging logistics for the sit ahead of time. He sent photos of our two cats throughout the sit, and we could tell that they were very comfortable with him as they were doing all their favourite things! Angus left our condo clean and tidy. Thanks Angus! :)

Penny is a gem, feel so lucky to have found her. She made a best friend in our dog straight away. She took Rollo for adventurous walks in the local area, found a river walk which he would have loved! She sent updates and pictures, we could see Rollo was super happy! It was clear Penny’s priority was our dog and we are extremely grateful for looking after him so very well… he misses you! Penny looked after our house as if it were her own. Thank you so much Penny. You are a wonderful 5 * sitter! We hope to see you again one day! xx

Jack was an excellent pet sitter: responsible, organised, friendly. He was extremely good with our cat, Scadoo, who clearly took to him a lot. It can be tricky to get Scadoo to take his pills, but Jack persevered until he managed it. There was lots of play, and regular photos. We hope to have Jack again sometime, if he’d like another trip to Glasgow.

This was the second time we have had the pleasure of Priyanka and Cole taking care of our pets and home, and would very gladly have them back. Lots of updates, pets absolutely love them and just very nice people. Highly recommend!

The girls were great. The cats and dog were happy and relaxed when we returned Ed. The house was spotless and they were super friendly. Would happily invite them back and recommend them to anyone.

Matt and Shania stayed and looked after my cat as a couple, and they were brilliant from start to finish. They were organised and responsive, extremely helpful and accommodating in terms of the key/flat handover timing, and very patient when I wasn't quite ready when they arrived! They showed clear interest in the welcome guide and any information that could be shared with them about my cat (who has additional health needs) and my home. I felt a strong sense that they cared about giving my cat a good experience, and when I got home he was settled and happy, and had clearly been well cared for, which is so reassuring after a trip away. The home was extremely tidy and clean - they'd even washed the towels and stripped the bed, which I never expected! They sent pictures and updates regularly of my cat while I was away. Overall, they were brilliant, and I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking cat and home sitting services.

I cannot recommend Marian enough for his excellent care of my dog Murphy and my flat while I was on holiday. During my time away, Marian sent me updates and photos of Murphy, which put my mind at ease knowing that he was in good hands. Overall, Marian's professionalism, reliability, and genuine care for my dog and home truly impressed me. I will definitely be reaching out to him again for future pet-sitting needs, and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter. Natalie and Jordan looked after our cat whilst we were away, and we can't recommend them highly enough! Communication before the sit was really easy, and we felt confident that our cat and home would be in good hands.
