Dog Sitters in Midlothian

Julian did an excellent job of caring for our pets and home. He took our dogs out on numerous long walks so we returned home to happy pets! His extra effort in planning travel arrangements which would ensure his on time arrival at our home amidst the transportation strikes affecting France was greatly appreciated as it meant that we were able to catch our flight on time. Allegra was an outstanding sitter, she clearly loves animals and bonded with our two cats very quickly. She stayed for over 3 weeks and was very self sufficient and sent amazing photos and videos that we will treasure forever! The house was spotless when we got home. Allegra timed her arrival perfectly so we were able to have a face to face handover for a few hours which was appreciated and always useful for both sides. Thanks so much Allegra.

Ruth was the dream sitter! She was organised to a T, great with communication and left the house spotless. Had our shy male cat George having belly rubs in no time and eventually had our little tripawd Peppa besotted with her. Would highly recommend and happily have stay again.

Laura and Doug were 5 star house sitters. My dog Woody had a great time and I got plenty of photo updates to prove it! Would thoroughly recommend.

You really couldn’t ask for a more lovely pet sitter than Paola! She is a delightful caring person who takes her responsibilities very seriously. Maya, our dog, can be anxious around new people but Paola bonded with her quickly. We had a day’s handover and by the time we left for our long weekend we were very confident. Paola kept in touch with pics each day and when we returned we felt we’d come home to a friend who’s been staying! We would welcome Paola back any time and hope she feels the same way.

Hamish and Lily did a great job looking after all our poultry. They followed our instructions for the feeding routines and all seemed happy when we returned. They kept in touch while we were away letting us know how things were going. The house was clean and tidy when we returned. We would be more than happy to have them stay again.

Anita was such a great sitter for our two Labradors. She arrived on time, was completely self-sufficient, and we came back home to two very happy and contented dogs, and a clean and tidy house. Anita even took the dogs running, which I'm sure they absolutely loved. In fact, I don't think they missed us at all! We were lucky to find Anita, and would highly recommend her looking after your pets. She'd be welcome back any time!

Sylvia was just perfect, we all loved her as did the dogs and she managed to get all the hens in. Could not recommend her more highly.

Freya was a brilliant cat sitter for our cat Topaz. She sent updates regularly and made the whole process very smooth. She even came up with ways to get our cat to be active and play with her. We would highly recommend her as a cat sitter.

Annie is lovely, warm, friendly and my animals loved her stay!!!

Leni, was an ideal pet sitter. She is a compassionate, responsible, loving person for both pets and humans. She communicated very well. I had a bereavement while on holiday and had to come home after only 4 days into Leni's 2 week sit. She was so understanding. I told her she was under no pressure to move out, however she found herself a place until her next sit. She kindly made my bed for me for when I arrived home. So grateful for having met Leni. X
