Megan is a top tier house and pet sitter! We would welcome her back any time and will be sending her invites for our future sits. It is hard to pick the best among Megan's many strengths, so I will do them in order of importance to us.... She gave excellent care to our dogs, who clearly warmed right up to her and she extended them love and attention that they need, especially in the first few days of our absence. Megan is an expert communicator, sending us a daily update and reaching out when she had a question. Megan was highly reliable, communicating well before the sit started and offered lots of flexibility on arrival and departure which we greatly appreciated. She is a pleasant person to be around and we enjoyed the evening we spent together prior to our departure and the evening and morning we had together prior to her departure. She is a real gem, and we encouraged her to find a way to share her natural abilities and talents with newer sitters to help them become as great as she is at making a sit successful. Some of that is just her natural ability, but she has a depth of experience that she brings to the table as well.
Toby was such a great guy, loved having cat conversations with him, Liz & Ray gave me very clear instructions which made it a very easy sit. I went on some lovely walks in the woods and really enjoyed exploring the area. I would definately recommend this sit and wouldnt hesitate to sit again for Liz & Ray
The housesit for Belinda was great. Communication was excellent from the start, we went through everything that needed to be done throughout the sit. Belinda and her husband made sure we were comfortable and had all the information we needed before they went away. The house was comfortable and cosy and just a short walk away from River Tamar which is beautiful. There was a log burner in the house with plenty of logs available. Henry had a lovely temperament and loves playing and being around people. He is still a puppy though and being a pointer, needed a lot of exercise as mentioned in the advert. We’d suggest someone experienced with dogs due to his excitable nature and can be very strong. Spud the older dog was very easy to look after and loved having a cuddle. As were Ezzy and Rocky. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this housesit to others. Thanks again for letting us sit for you Belinda!
My daughter and I were warmly welcomed by Louise and her husband Rob. We arrived the evening before they were due to leave and we enjoyed a supper together and an interesting chat around the log fire in the lounge. The view of the sea in the morning from the lounge was beautiful as the house sits right by the slipway of the harbour. The bedroom for myself and my daughter was very comfortable and quite separate to the rest of the house as it's up another level with a separate bathroom. Dora is a gem of a dog. She is affectionate and biddable, no problem to look after. I walked her round the harbour and on a beach nearby and she behaved impeccably. I loved Dunbar and this sit is in a great location being just a few minutes walk from the main street with it's individual shops and good cafes. There's lots of things nearby to keep your interest so I would highly recommend this sit.
I loved this sit! Mango is the sweetest puppy, and was an absolute pleasure to look after. Pickles kept a lower profile, preferring to be out and about by day. The home is lovely, clean and very comfortable, in a great location near the water. I loved evenings out on the porch with Mango. Thank you Carrie and family!
Michael left clear instructions for their lovely home and sweet dogs. Penny and Daisy were easy to care for and very loving. Boulder City is a fun place to visit and cinnamon rolls at the Coffee Cup in town very delicious! Thank you Michael and Cindy for allowing us to stay in your cozy Christmacy home over the holidays.
