One of our favorite petsits, how could we resist cuddling with sweet Mochi and Chimo (Chewbacca)! They follow you around the house and come sit nearby wherever you're studying, eating or sleeping. We loved their morning hugs and kisses and Martin would always miss them whenever he left for work and could not wait to come home. They're such small dogs but full of fun, Chewbacca was so easy to give medication to and gets excited about everything, Mochi loves to play fetch and gives such a funny stink eye but is always up for belly rubs! The house is nice too, with a rooftop terrace and garden in a calm neighbourhood (we slept really well) with all needed amenities on a 10 to 15 minute walk. Great park nearby and great connection to the TTC network. Allen is also great: very easy going, easy to keep in contact with (loved to seeing his travel photo updates) and quick to arrange this sit. He even brought us the most delicious cookies from his holiday. Thank you so much! If you ever need a sitter again, please do let us know, as we would love to take care of Mochi and Chimo again (and again)!
Jerry and Debbie are a warm and welcoming couple who invited me to their home in Kelowna the evening before they left and gave me a good orientation and made me feel at home. There was good communication while they were away. The house is lovely, clean, and comfortable. Lexie is a beautiful cat, who warmed up to me quickly and loves to be held and cuddled. The area is also lovely, right beside a forest, with lots of nice hiking/walking trails close by, as well as being about 15 minutes away from beaches. I’d be happy to return if the timing worked out. Missing Lexie’s cuddles already.
Mallory and Jerry are great hosts. This stay was just a house sit as Spirit travelled with them. Their home is lovely, and the neighborhood is a very peaceful and tranquil setting. I look forward to returning in the future!
Wonderful cats! So friendly and easy going, they were a joy to look after, and Ellen and Karl were in regular contact. The house was very nice and clean and the views were stunning. I would gladly visit again :-)
What a pleasure to get to know Sherry and Steve and then have the great pleasure of caring for their beautiful home and garden and of course the adorable fur babies. We got to their place a few days early to get the lay of the land (and dogs); Sherry was super thorough and gave us all the info we needed for a smooth sit. We loved the home and garden, we spent hours watching the birds at the feeder and just enjoying the incredible view. The dogs, Ms Sadie and Ms Mancha, were an absolute delight, such sweet company. They are so well loved both with different yet charming personalities. Steve and Sherry were so hospitable; taking us to a local get together as well as showing us all the local haunts to enjoy. It was such a pleasure to get to know them and we hope to visit again! We certainly developed a much stronger love for Costa Rica while there and we look forward to returning.
From the moment we met Anabel, Togs, Santi, and family we knew we would have a warm hearted and wonderful stay. It was our pleasure to care for Togs and Santi 2 very special and lovable boys. We miss them !! The park handy was their favorite place to sniff and scratch around..
