Brandy and Kent were excellent house guests and dog caregivers. Brandy kept us up to date daily with pictures and checkins. Edi was very happy when we got home and the house was well taken care of.
Stanley was the best company, very snuggly and easy to care for! He loves going out and is so calm and well behaved in crowds - it was an absolute pleasure to take him with me wherever I went. The neighbourhood is very walkable and dog friendly. Communication with Kathlene was easy and she was always available for questions. The house is comfy and colourful, including a shared backyard with many friendly neighbours!
We really enjoyed sitting for Molly in this charming Portland home. Lauren and Andrew were welcoming hosts, easy to communicate with, and had a clean and comfortable home to stay in. We enjoyed seeing all the instruments, the library, natural lighting, and character of this house. The neighborhood was safe and walkable, although Molly spends her time at home as an older dog. When we first arrived, sweet Molly came right up to greet us. During our time there, she slept a lot, but she loved every minute of brushing and petting. When it was sunny outside, she enjoyed laying out on the deck. Molly knows what she wants, she stands by the back door if she needs to go potty and will eat her food if you mix something yummy in for her. We enjoyed seeing snippets of her personality throughout our stay. We recommend this sit, especially for first time sitters like ourselves. We hope to see Molly again soon!
Giulia and Eugene were so very warm and welcoming. Pina was so very soft, fluffy, and purrific. Their apartment, just a two block walk from the coastal water of Malta, was clean and comfortable And, because of Pina's crafty feeder-on-a-timer, I felt comfortable leaving Pina, while I explored the islands by day (and cuddle with pina by night). Giulia and Eugene even got me a bus card to help with my explorations. It was also fun to exchange photos and updates with Pina's humans via WhatsApp. This was a perfect experience for my first official house-sit on Trusted Housesitters.com.
Katelyn and Eric's place is a wonderful space for a DC adventure! It's walking distance to the Capitol Building, lots of restaurants, Eastern Market, museums and grocery nearby. You'll love your animal companions, too. Sierra is super easy and mellow, but she gets quite happy at the prospect of a walk! Sterling is a true king, no trouble at all to give his insulin shots. In fact, he came to me each evening for a reminder of his dose...and the treat that follows. Loved our stay in this cozy row house in a fabulous city.
