Jack is a super sweet dog and Maggie is a nice, relaxed cat. The area around the house is beautiful but the location is rather remote. I would recommend this sit to people who have a vehicle because Tetbury is not within walking distance and there are only 2 busses going there each day. But if you have your own car it will be a nice place for you.
Julia & Jeremy’s House is beautiful and in a lovely rural spot. Railway station just a short drive away made getting around really easy. We had our own little Oast House away from the main house but perfectly warm and comfortable. The 2 cats were slightly aloof with us other than at food time and the dog wasn’t there sadly otherwise we would have gone on walks galore. Highly recommended. One minor disappointment was sluggish internet but that was the only issue in an otherwise fantastic week. The gardens are beautiful too. Thanks Julia. Happy to sit again.
It was a pleasure to sit for Diane and Zuko. Her directions for Zuko and her home were very clear and easy to follow. Communication with Diane was easy, thorough, and timely. Her home was welcoming, comfortable, and located near lots of restaurants/shopping choices. Zuko was an absolute delight. One of the smartest and funniest dogs I've met. He was shy (at first), but after that first one on one walk, he let his guard down. He knows lots of tricks and was treat motivated which helped to build trust with him. I definitely recommend this sit. I would recommend this sit.
Marla was very kind to us and we really enjoyed our 10 day stay in her flat. She left detailed and easy-to-follow instructions about the pet care and her apartment in general. The cats were lots of fun, with great personalities! The location of the apartment was especially great, it is right next to a big food market and hawker centre which was not very touristy and had a huge amount of food options and a little supermarket. We could also access the tourist areas and activities quite easily using MRT etc. Would recommend to any cat-lovers visiting Singapore, we already miss the cats Mowgli and Raksha! Michelle and Michael made me welcome from the moment I arrived. From a warm greeting and pick-up at the ferry, to a lovely dinner the first evening. They allowed me to come a day early so that we could all get used to each other, and of course so I could get to know their wonderful wheatens, Lily and Fauci, and get some very useful tips from them about their home and the island where they live. The sit itself was amazing. Their home is one of the most unique and interesting places I've ever had the pleasure to stay, and the location is near beach and forest and surrounded by nature. My partner and his kids came to join me and the kids had a wonderful time, tromping about, looking for frogs and finding smooth stones on the beach. Walking Lily and Fauci and getting to know their fun and sweet personalities made every day better, and walking with them was a great way to get to know the island. I can't recommend sitting at Michelle & Michael's place enough. I enjoyed getting to know them, their home and their wonderful dogs very much. I would very gladly come again.
Matt and Susú are some of the kindest people I’ve ever met and it was great getting to know them. Their house is very clean, comfortable, and has lots of kitchen gadgets for those that enjoy cooking. There are lots of beautiful cactus plants to admire and a big back yard- perfect for play time with the pups! If you love nature and hiking they are located close to Saguaro National Park, Mt. Lemmon, and the Sonoran Desert Museum. Nacho and Blue are both cuddly and silly babies. Nacho loves to play fetch with his frisbee, cuddle, and give lots of kisses. Blue enjoys chasing after shadows/light, being held like a baby, and runs in circles when he is excited. They are both such special boys and I miss them already!
