We had an excellent house sit. Rike and Andrea's house is really superb, ideally located with everything you need. The cleanliness was also perfect. Pekoe is a cat who was a bit shy with us for the first few hours but then became very affectionate. We had a great time with him and he manages his food very well. I had a great short sit with Tommy. He had recently been in a fight and was on antibiotics to help him heal - grinding up the pills was easy and he ate them, mixed in his breakfast and supper, without any fuss. He also never showed me his claws or any bad temper - he was a sweetie all round. Nic and Paola were generously hospitable with their kitchen etc, and communicative and helpful throughout. The house is high-tech and would sometimes talk to me in mysterious ways, but they reassured me that all was going well.
We had such a great time at Louise's home looking after Dora and Poppy. Dora has lots of energy and was great on walks but she is equally cuddly at home. We had lots of fun playing and getting to know her! Poppy is also really sweet and quite a self sufficient cat. She seemed to enjoy a bit of attention and has a lovely loud purr and we really enjoyed having her around. Louise made us feel comfortable straight away with really clear instructions for looking after Dora and her home. The house was so lovely and comfortable, we felt at home immediately and felt so lucky to have such beautiful views and walks on our doorstep. We'd love to come again!
We had such an amazing week house-sitting and caring for Paige in Montecito! Speaking to Linda on the phone and meeting her and Paige in person before beginning our house and pet-sit gave us the opportunity to learn more about their care needs, schedule, and routines. Their home and backyard are incredibly inviting, comfortable, and spacious with so many amazing amenities including spectacular views of the golf course and ocean, a quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors, a washer/dryer, and a beautiful deck to relax on outside with Paige. Many local attractions nearby include the beach, Old Mission, and downtown Montecito and Santa Barbara. Paige is so incredibly sweet, fun, lovable, and cuddly! We so enjoyed our daily walks with her through the neighborhood, playing tug-of-war with her toys, and giving her lots of belly rubs. She is incredibly well-behaved and loved being close to us during the day. We loved it too! She really is the sweetest! During Linda’s trip, we enjoyed sending daily updates about Paige and appreciated her prompt and thoughtful communication with us. Thank you so much for everything! We had such a great time with Paige, and we are really hoping to see her and Linda again in a future house/pet-sit. All the best and Happy New Year!
These amazing Women had the most beautiful, clean, organized home that I have ever seen. It was a sitter’s paradise!!! The details to the welcome guide and the well thought through of suggestions were exactly what is needed for a successful sit! The communication and respect had me feeling instantly comfortable from moment one! As for the fur-babies, Falli and Bellini, you couldn’t ask for more sweeter and well behaved duo! Falli takes a little to warm up yet gives the best snuggles and will talk to you all day if you let her. Bellini is the tiniest ball of joy that loves cuddles and is for sure Queen B!! You can feel how much love they are given daily! The location of the property is ideal for anyone who loves to be able to walk to all the local attractions and local restaurants/farmers market. I felt safe at all hours of the day and enjoyed the lush greeneries and the most beautiful yard on the block! It was a wonderful sit and I feel blessed to have such an experience with this wonderful family!
My children and I had a gorgeous, cosy weekend looking after Puck, surely the friendliest cat on earth! My kids are at boarding school and just loved the chance to snuggle with him and relax in Victoria and Will’s beautiful cottage for a couple of days. Victoria was great to communicate with and gave us some great recommendations of walks and things to do in the area. It was a real pleasure housesitting and looking after Puck.
