Thanks for the lovely, relaxing housesit! Thor and Ashe are beautiful, friendly cats and very easy to look after. They both loved a good ear or belly scratch, Thor especially was very talkative and would let me know when he wanted attention! The house is nice and light filled and is in a good location. I'd happily housesit for Kylie and Chris again!
We can't speak highly enough of our experience sitting for Snow in Beaumont-du-Perigord. First, Snow is a gentle delight, a wonderful companion, who we miss sorely. Second, Nigel and Kate were warm and welcoming and bent over backward to make us feel at home and to make sure all our needs were met. They responded immediately when he had questions or concerns. Third, we have seldom enjoyed a village and environs as much as Beaumont and the Dordogne. We spent much of each day soaking in the scenery and the ambience. And, finally, the house itself was wonderfully comfortable. We would sit there again in a heartbeat.
From the moment I saw Jane’s posting on TH, I could tell we would get along well. It described the sit perfectly and focused almost entirely on Kwabi, a cat Jane adopted last your when his owner had to move away. That feeling was only reinforced when we chatted via video a few days later. The night before the sit began, Jane invited me to stay over and she cooked a delicious dinner. The guest room bed is extremely comfortable and the house charming - hundreds of years old - with all modern amenities and a beautiful garden. It is also in the middle of Wickham Market, a small, friendly town in Suffolk. Jane thoughtfully alerted neighbors to my visit in case of any issues and her Welcome Guide was most thorough. Kwabi is an all star cat, totally independent with his cat door, yet always up for a cuddle and chat. He slept on the bed with me and provided a great purr. He could not be a better companion. Jane left the fridge well stocked and was equally kind to leave guidebooks on the local area which proved very helpful. We had dinner again the night Jane returned and it was a real treat to spend more time with her and Kwabi. I feel lucky to have looked after The Crooked House and Kwabi and would be thrilled to return!

Hoku has been such an amazing groomer to my dogs! She was the only one that would take my very anxious dogs. She’s so patient with them and just knows how to calm them down! Now at their 4th visit they’ve been doing better and show no sign of distress. We enjoy seeing Aunty Hoku!! 1st photo 1st visit - Baymax wasn’t too trusting yet; 2nd photo 2nd visit; 3rd photo 3rd visit, Baymax finally let her trim shorter! 4th photo, in between visits, their hair gets long fast. 5th photo 4th visit & totally KTFO! Hoku is really the dog whisperer, she is amazing at what she does. My dog was a rescue and hates having her nails trimmed. We’ve tried everything. Hoku was able to take care of it without our puppy freaking out. I trust her to do excellent work and with her heart for animals, she’s the best! She also has competitive pricing; but, even if she didn’t, it’s totally worth every dime. If you love your pet, they will be in good hands with Hoku!! 💕
Simply said, Hoku is THE BEST!!! Our pups love her, she is always on time, she tailors your pups grooming exactly to your needs, and is on top of her schedule! We’ve been using her for about 4 years now, and she has gotten our anxiety driven fur baby to be comfortable and unafraid of the word “haircut”. I would recommend anyone to take advantage of her grooming skills as she cuts the pups exactly as you ask. She always gives reminders a day or so prior to your appointment, and if you or she has any schedule conflicts, she is quick to adjust and will fit you in as soon as she possibly can. We just love her and so do our pups! Thank you Hoku!!!!
I think Hoku deserves more than 5 stars! She is absolutely AMAZING. I took my little fur baby to pet smart ONCE, and there was no difference with the way my baby came home & he refuses to walk into pet smart like he’s traumatized! Soon after we went to that appointment we got referred to Hoku and have been going to her since. She’s definitely a fur baby lover! And gets the job done, you can literally see the difference. She never disappoints and always makes my Riley boy feel sooo loved… to the point where he doesn’t even want to come home! 100 starts of I could. The prices are affordable for what the grooming service includes. Easy to find the location, and Hoku is very communicative. From start to finish she texts with updates and time frames! Totally love Hoku and the wonderful job she always does on my furbaby Bella. Before and after pictures. Prices are great and affordable, usually schedule every 6-8 weeks. She listens to what you want done and does her absolute best to fulfill it. She is great with my Bella, very patient and caring.

I love Hoku. I discovered her by chance many years ago and now I bring my dog, Leia, to her every 2 months. She’s not only a skilled groomer, but is also a kind person who truly cares about people and their pets. Hoku goes above and beyond with her service and is considerate of Leia’s medical diagnoses. She does her best to alleviate the unrelenting symptoms caused by severe allergies and always communicates new concerns or observations with me. Leia always comes home looking and feeling great!

I was very nervous to leave my kitty for 3 weeks at a boarding facility since it was going to be his first time being away from me for that long & he’s not super socialized (he only knows myself & my dog). Let me start by saying The on boarding process was very easy & fast. Tails of Hawaii also is priced really well (I did my research of boarding facilities before booking). & it was super convenient because the facility is 5 minutes away from my home. Upon drop off, I noticed it was very clean & well kept, the staff was very friendly & reassuring. Through out my kitty’s stay the staff sent me pictures, updates, & health updates during the entire time. It looked like my kitty had a great time socializing with other people & did well in his new environment. Tails of Hawaii really gave me peace of mind knowing my kitty was being well looked after & because of that I was able to enjoy my vacation. I will definitely be back for any more future boarding needs & recommend them To anyone! Thank you again tails of Hawaii for taking care & looking after my kitty!
I had to move myself, 3 dogs, and 2 cats from Hawaii to two separate cities in Ohio and I was such a wreck. My pets are my family! I almost went with another company but they had poor communication and kept sending the wrong itineraries which gave me such anxiety. I reached out to Happy Tails and they were super quick to get back to me and got the different itineraries right the first time and really did their best to put my worries to rest. They came to pick my pets up from my house and didn’t even bat an eye at how much I was crying saying goodbye to them. Needless to say, all my pets landed safely at their correct destinations and I am so thankful for all their help! They sent me updates and pictures of everyone during their pre-flight boarding stay. They paid attention to all the small details I sent about all my pets different quirks. I highly recommend using Happy Tails if you have to move your pets. They really made something that was so stressful and seemed so complicated to orchestrate with 5 different pets and 2 different locations so seamless. 10/10!!
Tails has allowed my Chocolate lab “Nani” to socialize with others providing caring staff to help her grow. We are grateful for the webcams that allow me to periodically check on Nani throughout the day to observe her activity. The piece of mind knowing she is in a safe environment. I place my trust in the staff at Tails to care for a part of my family that we treat as our own child now that our children have grown and moved away. I did have an incident which Nani ingested possibly a rubber piece which Tails helped to monitor her during that period to ensure if her poop contained additional pieces since she was not eating. I know that “Nani” could get into mischief and also becomes snippy considering she is a rescue that has experienced Trauma. However, Tails monitors and reports her day. Nani comes home exhausted from a full day of playing and when we reach the store. she is wagging her tail and not putting on the brakes as we enter. We attended the 2024 Pet Fair in Mililani and I was hesitant about bringing her out in the public with other dogs and their owners. Nani allowed people to pet her and she was wagging her Tail the entire time. Thank You Tails!
Just completed the meet and greet. My senior dog seems to be very relaxed and happy. Because of his health and senior status, he was rated under a non social status. Environment of the lobby was very clean and neatly kept. Would have loved a pre tour of the kennels. Just to observe. Looking forward to his boarding.
We have been with them for almost 8 years. They have been a lifesaver. Our dog is not very sociable as he's almost 11 years old! But with time and patience they have mixed him in with other dogs. Still not real sociable but he is mingling with them and that made us EXTREMELY HAPPY. He wants to mingle but not sure how to. He LOVES all his aunties and uncles. Be board him periodically, which he's not real happy about, but it gives us a peace of mind knowing he is well cared for there. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND Tails of Hawaii.

I’m always nervous when going out of town and leaving my dogs in the care of someone else. However they took great care of my dogs. I loved their live feed every so often I would get a glimpse of them. Seeing them running around having fun made my feel so much better know my dogs were having a great time and being well cared for.
Recently had our two labs do a meet and greet with ToH. The staff was helpful and explained what would be done and what would be evaluated. Having the online portal definitely streamlines the process. Looking forward to having our pups boarded at this facility. Very convenient and only a few minutes from the house. Definitely appreciate the military/veteran discount for boarding.
PCSing to the mainland, and I am so happy with the help that Tails of Hawaii gave us. They answered all of our questions and kept us updated along our fur babies trip. Everyone I came across was super friendly as well. I definitely recommend Tails of Hawaii, especially if moving. They help take away the stress and everything was simple.

Our dog Buddy, loves going to Wolfpack Adventures with Nikki, Peter, and their wonderful team. He gets to go on cool hikes to new and exciting places while socializing and bonding with his furry pals. They are really great about sending pictures and updates on each of his adventures and boarding stays. It's so nice knowing he's enjoying playing with his friends while keeping fit and excited. we've boarded with them twice and loved it. Did you know they also pick up and drop off for his adventures? After his drop off, he's ready to happily sleep and start snoring. I can't recommend them enough. Thank you for loving our shy Buddy and taking such good care of him! He's blossomed a lot!
We've been sending our dog Moose to Wolfpack since he was 8 months old. We were concerned at first since he is Mr. Aloha-and-then-some and wondered if he would even fit in with all his excitement and energy. But he's been attending adventures for 2 years so far and loves every one of them. We feel the structure and socialization the Wolfpack provides Moose is highly beneficial to helping fulfill his different dog-needs. The Wolfpack team is very skilled in what they do and they really know how to connect with the individuality of each dog. For instance, Moose needs a stern, no non-sense leader otherwise he'll push all the boundaries to get what he wants. On the flip side, there are dogs who need a softer approach which I've seen them provide as well. Aside from weekly adventures, they are about the only ones we trust to board him long term during our off-island travels. Hands down, they get em!
Love Wolfpack adventures!!! They helped my furbaby Oliver get out of his shy shell and is slowly socializing with the pack. He did great boarding with the team and I could trust Nikki and her staff to take good care of Oliver. He enjoys adventure days and knows when they are outside to pick him up. They care about each dog and I’m grateful for everything they do.

I was immediately drawn to WolfPack Adventures because it was a locally-owned, small business, who offered exceptional services for great prices. Nikki is amazing with dogs and truly cares about the well-being of our furry friends! Zeus has blossomed since going on adventures with Nikki and regularly gets complimented for his demeanor- heʻs much friendlier, confident, and enjoys his long walks with new friends. Our girl Riley has stayed with WolfPack Adventures HI twice now for boarding while we went on vacation. We love that it’s a home setting for her rather then cages or strictly outside. She loves going and we always get reassurance from Nikki that she is doing well while we are gone with picture updates. I will definitely continue to use this amazing dog sitter/home setting boarding for our pup. Nikki is great with the dogs and is also very attentive and quick to answer texts while we are away.
My girl Nosi loves Wolfpack Adventures HI! She goes ever Wednesday and they do an amazing job with tiring her out and they even do some training with them! Nosi isn't the greatest at heeling on leash as I trained her off leash but Wolfpack was able to train her to be great at it! If your dog is good around other dogs I would definitely highly reccomend!
Phenomenal! WolfPack Adventures allows our pup to socialize and experience new places constantly. We can see how happy she is in the photos we receive while out and about. From the initial assessment, I knew WolfPack Adventures takes pet care very seriously. Our dog was observed on her interactions with the Pack to see if she was a good fit. This gave me peace of mind knowing this type of evaluation is done on all the dogs. We have also utilized the boarding services. It is a huge relief knowing our dog is in good hands and living her best life.
We are so grateful to have found wolfpack adventures for our dog Remi. I did a lotttt of research before deciding what would be the best fit for her/us and I couldn't have picked a better place or better people to care for her. On 12+ hour work days I can rest assured that she's getting the attention and exercise she needs. I love that she's able to go out on all these hikes and walks while safely socializing with other dogs/people. I was worried she wouldn't fit in given her super clingy and high-energy personality, but immediately upon meeting the team at wolfpack I knew they were so skilled in meeting the needs of all the dogs. I've also seen an improvement in her on-leash behavior since sending her here and the pick-up and drop-off option is a huge bonus as well. I could go on and on about how great they are at what they do.. just try it out, you won't regret it. Highly highly recommend. Nothing better than coming home after a long workday to a sleepy pup. Plus, they send pictures of the fur babies after every adventure !!!
I am so grateful to Wolfpack Adventures for helping me find a boarding solution for Milo. Milo does not do well in groups and does not do well in kennels, so we honestly thought we were out of luck when it came to boarding options. Nicolina offered us in-home boarding at an affordable rate and it exceeded our expectations in every way. We got to meet Karissa ahead of time, got pictures several times a day while we were gone, and we felt so relaxed knowing Milo was getting a lot of cuddles in the comfort of his own home. We recently boarded our adopted dog, Winnie, at Kama’aina K9 while we were away for a week, and we couldn’t be happier with how it went. Since it was our first time boarding her, we were a little nervous, but the staff was so great and made us feel comfortable right away. The every-other-day “Woof Reports” with photos and updates were so cute! It was such a relief to see Winnie looking happy, excited, and having fun with other dogs. Daily updates would’ve been nice since it was our first time overnight without her, but the ones we got were still super reassuring. When we picked her up, she was her usual energetic self, which let us know she was well cared for the whole time. The team made everything so easy, and we’ll definitely be bringing her back. Highly recommend Kama’aina K9 if you need a safe, loving place for your pup!
My pup Waffles has been going here for years- and it’s her weekly interaction with other dogs in a wide open area- she loves it! They are always kind to her (I ask her every time about her visits) and she gets photos and new friends to play🥰. They have gone next level care for us due to unforeseen circumstances and we appreciate that they do so, because they really do care for our pups. Thank you Kama’aina! Our dog, Charlie, stayed for two weeks while we traveled to the mainland. We received progress reports with photos every other day. We loved that they provided enrichment activity and socialization that we can’t provide at home. We felt like he was in great hands!! They gave him a bath before we picked him up, and their process was quick & easy. In the past we have boarded Charlie at his veterinary clinic. He spent most of his time in a cage/kennel with potty breaks outside. Kama’aina K9 Adventures gave him a much better experience with fun activities and lots of outdoor play.
From first contact with them to picking my dogs up was super easy and convenient. All of the staff that I talked to were nice and professional. I appreciate that they allow you to have a let your dog stay for a few hours so they can see if there are any compatibility issues with your dog and the other dogs staying. Drop off was quick and easy. I loved getting the woof report so I always knew how my dogs were doing. It made our trip so much more enjoyable not having to worry about the status of our dogs. Overall this was a very pleasant experience and I definitely recommend them to watch your dog(s) while you're away. I will be using them in the future as well.
We recently tried Kama'aina K9 Adventure for a half-day daycare with our dog Rocky, and he had an absolute blast! The agility adventure park gave him a fantastic outlet to explore and burn energy, transforming him into a happy, muddy monster by the end of it! This place is perfect for socializing and exercising your pup in ways that go beyond what I could offer on my own. The staff provides a safe, caring environment, with a great focus on safety and accountability. We were so pleased with Rocky's first half-day experience that we booked him for an extended stay right away. Highly recommended!
Most dogs (and owners) are afraid of my boy so he doesn’t get to play with them, the one thing he wants most. He’s big but still a puppy and so so sweet. I took him to KK9 in hopes that he would make friends to run around and play with and I’m so happy I did. His temp eval went great and when I received the report and pics of the fun he was having, I was overwhelmed ♥️. Thank you to the wonderful staff who took care of my baby and recognized the big bundle of joy he is! We will be back.
My dog had such a great time and really burned off her energy. The staff is very friendly and efficient. I like the ease of scheduling and drop off, & report cards The only possibly downside is the dusty road driving up to the site and your dog will definitely need a bath or wipe down after but we expect this being in the "country".
Lucky loves staying with Kama'aina K9 Adventures. As much as we don't love leaving him we are at ease knowing he's being looked after with lots of love and care while we're away. He loves seeing his aunties and love seeing old friends and making new friends. Lots of love and appreciation to the owners, staff, and furry friends for always keeping my fur baby safe and entertained.
My girl frequently goes to daycare at KK9, but she recently had an extended stay there. As soon as we pull onto the dirt road, she gets so excited. She is so happy to go there. The daily report cards were so cute and gave me peace of mind when off the island. We highly recommend KK9 Adventures!
Long overdue review. We have been sending our pup Mamba to KK9 for 3 years from 2020-2023 (multiple times a week, including some overnight boarding when we were away), and we would have still been going there if we didn't move to the mainland. KK9 is amazing. Mamba learned all his socialization skills from going there every week as soon as he was old enough to meet the age requirement. He would always be so exhausted by the time we picked him up, and so excited when we were dropping him off. There is just so much outdoor space for all the dogs to run around all day. He made so many great pup friends along the way. The staff is one of a kind - everyone is so friendly and most importantly, is going to love and spoil your pup!! They are great with posting photos of how your pup is hanging. Admittedly, the drive to the daycare is a little rocky, but it is 1000% worth it to give your dog an outdoor daycare experience. We've taken Mamba to many other daycares on the mainland after we left Hawaii, but NONE of them compare. It was his favorite place on earth and we wish we were still able to send him.
Erica and her staff are amazing. I 100% trust her to take care of my Doberman. She will send pics daily and you can rest assured your pet is getting all the love, attention, and socialization they deserve! Thank you Erica for taking care of Indy for the past 3 years. Erica is amazing! She welcomed my 4 dogs (on short notice) with love and attention! The dog kennels are larger than others and well maintained. She sends daily pictures with updates. All my dogs just loved her and her staff. This is the only boarding place that i will use here on the island.
To sum up Erica's service: Exceptional! She went above and beyond all we could hope for! She lovingly watched our rabbit Lucy and cat Loki for 15 days. She sent so many pictures and spoiled them like they were her own. From day one of when I contacted her, she was always super prompt and answered my questions thoroughly. I could tell right away that she loved animals and that our fur babies would be in excellent care. Not a day went by where I didn't get at least 10 pictures of them looking well taken care of. I highly recommend her service and we will definitely be repeat customers!

Great place to board your dog. We have used Erica to overnight our dog over the last 3 years. She is great with all the animals and has an intricate dog run where she can adjust the runs to the size of the dog. Her application is well thought out. It includes temperament of you dog, medical issues and verification of required shots and kennel medication. We have never had a problem there and our dog always comes home to rests from all the fun and running around with the other dogs. The dogs are paired up with like size and temperament and she closely watches them interact before introducing other dogs.
Best dog boarding that I have ever used. Such a wonderful person and team that take care of your dogs. They send picture updates to you so you can see them enjoying themselves while you are away.

The Dogwalker Etc. experience is AWESOME! 🤩 from start to finish, everything was perfect! We love the portal where the Dogwalker posts pictures, writes notes, records on multiple topics (poop, per, water refill, meds administered etc). SO AMAZING!! The meet-n-greet the day before was easy to do and hardly took any time at all. The staff know what they’re doing and are friendly- super easy to work with! 10 outta 10 recommend !! 🙌
Loved them while we had a walker for our area in Aiea. Then he moved off island and they don’t have enough staff( look online it appears they have plenty but I’d say that’s very very inaccurate). 5 star for his care during short time we had him. Negative -1 for not having a replacement and/ or viable option and time offering needed.
We love the staff and people at Dog Walking Etc. They are all so genuinely great with our dog. I especially like the fact that when we board our dog, he stays at the host’s home and not a kennel. He gets to interact with the host family and pets. They all go walking and playing together which he loves and I like getting daily updates with pictures. We initially used DWE to have our dog walked weekly along with weekly field trips. He gets so excited as he waits for his outings. When his walker arrives, he gets super excited. Don’t let the name fool you! If you’re looking for a cat sitter look no further than Dogwalker etc!! We are so grateful to have Erin and her awesome team of cat lovers for our two babies Stiker and Goldie. It’s clear that the company loves all animals but we felt very confident in their abilities for cats specifically. We traveled recently for spring break and had the Dog Walker team come in twice a day every day for two weeks. They did everything from cleaning & feeding to playtime to grooming and also taking care of our house too. We came back and found everything better than we left it. Thank you so much to Dogwalker etc and the whole team!

I’ve used dogwalker etc a few times for their dog walking services and dog sitting when we went on trips. It’s such a great service, they handle my difficult terriers (terrors) very well and the owner even came out once to assist the sitter with learning how to manage my dog. Coming from someone who has been turned away from doggy daycare, this was greatly appreciated!!! My dogs are very high energy, and intelligent, hence why I need a service. I also felt very comfortable leaving the island in this companies care, we got updates daily with photos, which is a nice touch. I will use this service again for sure.
We hired Ruth from Dogwalkers to doggie sit our fur baby while we were in Japan. We were super nervous since this was the first time leaving her with a stranger and we were out of country. Ruth is THE BEST. Rachael, the owner walked me through the process, gathered info and matched us up with Ruth. Ruth also came highly recommended by our neighbors. Our fur baby is very shy, so we hired Ruth to walk her before our trip to become familiar with Ruth. Ruth writes great detailed reports and the service includes daily photos which is great and comforting. Ruth even took out our trash bin and recycle bin and played with our fur baby. They really bonded. Ruth is great with animals. Ruth and Dogwalkers are pretty flexible about told return date in case of flight delays so your fur baby won’t be left hanging by themselves. We will definitely hire Ruth for future trips!
I have used Dogwalker ETC! on two different occasions and have been very happy with their service. The daily communication between the caregiver and pet owner is excellent. The staff are very professional and trustworthy. I felt at ease immediately after meeting the two people assigned to watch my pets and highly recommend this company and these wonderful, caring people.
When we took a trip in 2019, we needed someone to take care of our little girl for about 10 days. We found the perfect people who took excellent care of her! Misha was about 5 years old and this would be the first time we would be away for that length of time. Of course, we were concerned and apprehensive about how she would adjust in our absence. To our delight, she loved being with the dog sitter! The sitter would email videos of her daily activities and this gave us great comfort seeing her so content and happy. The personnel are so caring and genuine in making sure that your furry child is given the best care and they are also very professional. Highly recommended to entrust your dog in their care.
We used Dogwalker Etc for 9 days while away on a trip. Our girl was well taken care of, Ms. Sharee did an excellent job spending time and writing solid reports on how our dog was doing in our absence. I met Sharee before our trip and felt at ease with her. I explained to her all that was required, (you also write care instructions on their web portal) and we walked the usual route with my girl. I warned Sharee of all the neighborhood dogs that are possibly hostile and have broke off their leash in the past. I also warned Sharee that my dog could slide out of her collar (she's done so in the past) so beware of that, and that also my dog has bolted out of the house and went straight to the neighbor's dog that they keep tied up in the yard which I've been very leery of becoming unhinged at a blink of an eye. It can be nerve-wracking to leave your home and your pet to someone you just met, but Sharee was very professional and had been with the company for a long time so that put my mind at ease. Also, our dog is very strong, and I was a little worried that she would pull too hard down our stairs for someone unaccustomed to handling a larger dog, but Sharee has had a lot of experience with many types of dogs, and I felt confident that our girl was no issue for her. I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone looking for a pet sitter, and they are trustworthy. I will definitely use them again in the future.
