Karley & Ian were a joy to sit for. They were very welcoming and gave us an thorough and easy to follow overview of the house as well as clear instructions and explanations for taking care of Asha, Oreo and Katniss. They left us with a list of local recommendations which we found very helpful being new to the area. And talking of their area, their home is AMAZING and easy to take care of. And their neighbours are extremely friendly. A real plus was being able to spend time with the family the night before they went away and the evening they got back as well - they are a wonderful family Asha was a real character and a joy to look after. The surprise for us was how affectionate Oreo and Katniss were. We have looked after cats before and we appreciate they all have their own personalities and some are more independent than others. But both Oreo and Katniss were keen for a fuss each day which we were only too pleased to oblige. Karley & Ian kindly lent us their car for our stay which enabled us to take Asha to various trails to explore plus of course enabled us to easily get groceries. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to have the opportunity to look after their wonderful home and fur babies again
We had a great time at Donna’s with Gandalf! He’s a sweet little guy who mostly likes to nap and cuddle on the couch. The house is close to a great little bakery in town and the beach is walking distance away. Donna was kind enough to make us dinner upon our arrival and we felt very welcomed and comfortable. Thanks again!
