I had a lovely time staying at Nikki & Cate's. Oscare, Jas and Finn are delightful and loving characters, easy to care for and very chilled around the house. The one exception is when they get so excited when it is walk time....it is a joy to witness Jas spinning round with excitement :). The house is large so the house-sitter is able to have a separate space, bedroom, kitchen and shower/wc downstairs, though you are welcome to use the main lounge and kitchen if preferred. The cat Oscar is lovely and again very easy to care for. Nikki gave me instructions for feeding the fish, which is really not a chore at all, it is very relaxing to sit with a cuppa by the pond whilst feeding them. Nikki Cate and their son Ben are super friendly and even asked me to stay for dinner when they got home, despite their very busy lives. Chorlton is a great area to visit, with a good selection of shops, independent restaurants and bars literally around the corner from the house, with easy tram, bus or cab links into Manchester city centre. I would highly recommend sitting for Nikki and Cate. Thanks again both and good luck with the Channel swim Nikki for a very good cause.
Our week with Tully and Tyson was hugely enjoyable. Claire and Jason have a beautiful home and we were privileged to have the opportunity to stay there and look after things while they were away. Tully is such a character, still very young at heart, loves to play, and wants to be in your company all the time, including at night when she joins you on the bed, taking up all the space, of course!! Tyson is a typical cat, very independent, but when he feels like it, is full of affection and purrs! Claire and Jason were very welcoming and generous. We would always welcome the opportunity to help them again with looking after their gorgeous pets and lovely home.
I couldn't have had a better petsitter for my first experience. Kristina and her husband Yassime are incredible people, they did everything to make me feel comfortable, super kind and very nice people. Kristina was super accessible, communication was great. The house is very comfortable, excellent location, everything you need to enjoy Philly or simply stay at home. Maggie and Sophie are two princesses, adorable, affectionate, they were with me all the time, I'm really going to miss them, very easy to look after. I just have to thank Kristina for her trust and certainly, if there is another opportunity I would stay with this pet sitter again.
