Loved,loved,loved every second of this house sit in lovely Leicestershire. Susan and David are fantasic,so welcoming and made us feel at home as soon as we walked through the door! Their beautiful home is situated in a lovely quiet street with really friendly neighbours. There are loads of walks/public footpaths to explore including "Ivanhoe's way" wich is 36 miles of fab forest walks. Their pets :- Sapphire and Savannah (cats) are really easy to look after,both with very different personalities. They love to play and be fussed over. Chinchillas - we had never looked after chinchillas before,also easy to look after,feed and let out of their cages every other day to have a sand bath! Guinea pigs - easy,just feed and stroke once they get to know you. And last but not least the adorable Inca (dog) He walked miles with us,very friendly and affecionate dog. Lets you know when he wants to go out,when he wants treats,or just a cuddle!! Amazing,well trained dog. Miss him already. Thanks for everything Susan and David,would come back whenever you want x
We loved our time with the furry family, pearl, peggy, tinker and pip! the most excitable cookapoos we have ever meet so so sweet. Catherine and Kevin are such lovely people, made us feel so welcomed on the handover, so this was such a pleasure to be with the pet family. we will def keep in contact x
My stay in Portland was wonderful! Beth and Ben were very nice and provided a mini tour of their neighborhood when I arrived into town. Their home is in a safe and walkable area, not far from the bus stops and stores. They provided clear and detailed instructions for the sit and the kitties were easygoing and super cute! I highly recommend a house sit with them and would be happy to visit again in the future!
We had a great stay in Aaron’s apartment with his two lovely cats Samson and Dash! Everything was great from the beginning to the end. Aaron is such a nice guy and welcomed us with some eatable presents😋 We were so happy that everything worked out as planned and knew that Aaron is completely reliable and the cats easy-care and friendly. The apartment is clean, in good location and all in one just a dream! We will definitely miss our fluffy friends and hope to come back again🥰
Helen was very easy to communicate with, from our pre-sit WhatsApp video call, to maintaining contact during the sit. From the moment we arrived, Helen made us feel at home. Her house is spacious, the views are stunning, plus it’s warm and comfortable. Hebden Bridge is a lovely town, from coffee shops to strolling along the canal side, and don’t miss the scrumptious artisan bread stall on a Thursday!! Finally , and most important of all, Polly and Bosco are an utter delight; so enjoyable to be with. They are both wonderfully cuddly and affectionate and we’re really looking forward to seeing them again…fingers crossed!!
Oh how we loved taking care of Montana’s homestead! Bowie and Pawleys are the greatest homestead protectors and sweet sisters. Bowie has a lot of energy and will run up and down the street with you (she’s really great on a leash!). They are both so sweet and adorable. The kitties all get along so well, which was contrasted when I brought my cat and she felt like an outsider 😹 but they kept giving her chances even though she would hiss at them. Awesome animals! The chickens stole my heart, and the land itself deserves a review of its own! Definitely take the opportunity to go with the Lassies down to the River whenever possible - you won’t regret it ❤️❤️ thank you Montana for sharing your sweet soul and life with us. I know we’ll be back to visit!
