My husband and I had the opportunity to care for George's wonderful dog, Morita, in December 2021. It was truly an amazing experience to spend time with Morita, a friendly and easygoing Border Collie whom we loved right away. Our daily walks in the forest surrounding George's beautiful, peaceful, and cozy property were memorable. Upon arriving, George fed us a delicious lunch, gave us a tour of the property and took us for a long walk in the forest with Morita, explaining along the way Morita's habits and preferences. George also left us a folder containing all the necessary information about how to care for the property and Morita, as well as contact information in case of emergencies. We also had the chance to meet George's partner, Jane, at the end of our stay. We truly enjoyed the time we spend chatting and getting to know each other over a meal before taking our leave. What a friendly and welcoming couple! Our time on Galiano Island felt like a holiday. We enjoyed the quietness, the beauty of the surroundings, and most importantly, Morita's company. Given the chance again, we would definitely house/pet sit for George and Jane again.

A very comfortable stay in Nashville! Baylee is a super sweet and easygoing dog, I really enjoyed playing and spending time around her. Bryce was very helpful since the moment I arrived and he even had the basic instructions written down which was very useful for me in order to take well care of Baylee, which was pretty easy because she’s adorable. Also I had very good communication with Bryce through the sit in case there was a doubt or question. The place is a cozy apartment very clean and safe which I really enjoyed. 100% recommended!
We had a great time housesitting at Laura’s! Jackson is a sweet old boy who loves to get out for a good walk and a sniff, and was super easy to care for. At home he and the cats followed us everywhere which was really cute! Felix and Tiana are so full of character and Felix especially spent lots of time on our laps giving us cuddles. The flat is right on the edge of the water which is fabulous for stunning walks through the woods. We loved our time there and are so happy we could come! Thanks again for having us! xx
I had a wonderful experience at Paul’s home. Paul is an excellent host and provided thorough instructions in advance and was super communicative throughout my stay. His house is stunning with two fantastic porches and all the bells and whistles you could want. Paul offered his e-bike for me to use which I didn’t end up using but was a nice gesture, and would have perfect had the weather been a bit cooler. The house is situated in the RAD area and is a stone throw away from Carrier Park (on the French Broad River). I fell in love with his pup, Bailey, who is so well-behaved and has such a personality. Prepare for lots of snuggles and beady eyes! Overall my stay here was great and would recommend to others looking to visit Asheville.
