Fenway is a really great dog. He is affectionate, smart and loves to cuddle. Kaitlins apartment is a perfect studio in a conceirge building with gym located right in the heart of the Navy Yards. Kaitlyn is organized and a pleasure to sit for in DC.
This was an adorable sit in the English countryside. Hetty and Ben live in a beautiful old cottage that they lovingly turned into their own modern spacious home. Hetty welcomed me and showed me around, everything being wel organized. I spend some lovely moments with Monty their son, watching his favorite programm. I met Ben in the evening and I was treated to a tasty meal and great conversations. Tigs is really a very adorable cat. The sort to fall in love with. 10 minutes after I sat down on the couch he already climbed onto my lap. And did so many times. A real cuddler. And such a sweet character. It looked like he enjoyed his holiday very much too. The beautiful views from the house and the cute village of Mayfield made a great place to be for me. I very much recommend this sit and would gladly come again. Thank you.
Irene is a very friendly and welcoming lady and we instantly felt comfortable in her company. It was great to arrive the evening before Irene left, so that there was plenty of time for her to show us around her home and garden and introduce us to Abbs. Abbs was delightful company and amazingly agile for a cat of her age. She is clearly very well looked after. Her behaviour was exactly as described. She soon seemed to warm to us, and we really enjoyed having her keep us company in the conservatory during sunny mornings, snuggle next to us on the sofa in the evenings, and join us now and again on the bed in the night. Irene's home is very comfortable, with a well equipped kitchen and fabulous garden. Like previous reviewers we were amazed at all Irene has done in the garden. We were thrilled to be able to pick strawberries each day. The cottage is on the edge of a very pleasant village with an enjoyable short walk from the garden gate across a few fields to the bus stop (buses to Stratford on Avon and Banbury), local pub and surprisingly well stocked village store. We loved our two weeks here. We would be delighted to be able to return in the future, and have no hesitation in recommending the sit.
I had a great 2 weeks looking after the lovely Spooky. Miriam was very welcoming and gave a helpful tour of the flat with clear instructions. The cosy flat has everything you need plus a lovely garden space that gets some sun throughout the day. There’s plenty of local shops and parks within a few minutes walk and public transport links to central London. Spooky is very easy to look after and makes a wonderful cuddle buddy. She requires medicine twice a day but when added to a little wet food I had no trouble with it. She’s a total sweetheart and I highly recommend this sit.
Vanessa was a wonderful host... very generous and easy to communicate with which we did frequently through WhatsApp. But the star of the sit was Nala. A sweeter and more affectionate kitty you won’t find anywhere else. She is very intuitive and expressive, with lots of eye contact. And the cuddles! OMG she was soo affectionate but always on her terms of course!! A girl has to be discreet after all! I’d highly recommend sitting for Vanessa and Nala if you want a quiet time for reflection, study, writing, reading, and the joy of kitty cuddles. Thank you Vanessa!!!

Our furbaby loved her first day, we felt at ease leaving her too. We got updates on how she was getting on which definitely helped. Courtney and Gav absolutely love all the dogs that attend and you can see it in the way they speak about them. This will be an ongoing weekly visit for Harley.
Our golden retriever Loki has been going to Woof This Way every week for nearly a year now and loves it. Courtney and Gavin are brilliant with all the dogs and they treat Loki like their own. He has a great time socialising with other dogs and he's always excited to go for the adventures they take him and his friends on. We are updated with videos and photographs of Loki having an amazing time whenever he is in doggy day care. We have also used Woof This Way for boarding and knowing he is safe and looked after well is important for us. Whenever we have asked for any tips for training they have been really helpful and understanding as well. We can't recommend them enough and are really glad we found them!
Our malamute Stitch absolutely loves staying with Courtney & Gavin! They treat him as they would their own dog and we know he’s in safe hands. We’ve found it difficult in the past to find people that can handle larger breeds but that’s definitely not a problem 🐶. You know your dog has had the best time when he doesn’t care about greeting you when you come to collect him 😅 highly recommend! 😄
Courtney is amazing with all the dogs. She genuinely cares for each and every one of them so you know your pooch is in a loving home. She is extremely knowledgeable on obedience training also and can work with you and your dog. Best dog service in Glasgow!
My dog Bailey absolutely loves going to daycare! Courtney and Gav are brilliant with the dogs and post updates throughout the day so I can see how Bailey is getting on. They go above and beyond by doing training and taking the dogs out on day trips - Bailey always comes back knackered! Bailey is a rescue and we discovered together that she had some behaviour issues but rather than refuse to take her, they were happy to work with her and now she behaves well with the other dogs so it's been great socialisation for her. I'd highly recommend woof this way!
Woof This Way are an exceptional care and support system for your fur children! Courtney is a breath of fresh air and has a true passion for the care and wellbeing of your pooch, giving them the exercise and care we know our little (and big!) ones deserve. I’ve Known Courtney and Gavin for years and their love of dogs and all animals became very apparent the more time I spent with them. I myself don’t have a dog, but I would have no problems with leaving any animal in the care of woof this way. In fact, I would actively seek to use them even if I didn’t need to. It’s clear to see from their social media accounts that the dogs are cared for and having lots of fun. I couldn’t recommend Woof this way any more!
My Westie Lomond is 1 year old and has been going to Courtney & Gavin at Woof This Way since he was 14 weeks old. I can hand on heart say that they are the reason Lomond has such an amazing nature, socialised and obedient. No other doggy daycare in Scotland compares to what Woof this way do. I knew from the first time I met them that dogs and animals are their passion. Instead of dogs being in one room like most standard daycares, Courtney and Gavin give dogs a blended approach of an at-home experience whilst getting to play with other dogs combined with the most incredible walks, including countryside and beach. Courtney and Gavin are unbelievably skilled at what they do and they have excellent dog training skills. They train recall, off and on-lead walking and more importantly, they are skilled in reactive and nervous dogs. I’m in awe of the work they’ve done recently with some rescue dogs at daycare. Not only do they train Lomond, they are always on-hand for dietary advice and support with my own training with Lomond. They are my actual dog gurus! The best thing about woof this way is I know that they love Lomond as if he was their own, & he equally adores them! So much so, he doesn’t want to come home with me when I pick him up! I’ve spoken to the other dog owners who go to Woof This Way and we all agree, Woof This Way are AMAZING! I’m kept constantly up to date with what Lomond is doing with videos, messages and pictures of his amazing days with his doggy friends. So much so that I get constant messages from friends, family and colleagues saying how much they enjoy watching the videos too! Every penny spent on Woof this Way is of absolute value and no other daycare compares.... I only wish they accepted humans too! :)
Illustrious critters has been perfect And flexible for my two dogs! They have very different needs, one being a very lazy senior and the other a new rescue, a bit nervous but very lively. Seonaid has been so patient and kind to both of them and it’s so obvious she is a true animal lover. We often get beautiful pics texted throughout the day...couldn’t recommend her enough.
Really debated whether to post a negative review or not but don't want other dogs being neglected like my Golden Retriever. The website says that dogs will get walks in the forest, free walking in a grass paddock or even group walks but he seemed to only get some solo time in the concrete play area. The weather was amazing so I thought he would get out and about. Upon dropping Benny off, we were told he wouldn't be mixed with other dogs at all due to no other dogs his size, then the unpleasant woman stormed off. From looking at the updates on their Facebook page, there were multiple other large dogs including labradors and Retrievers so this was disappointing. We booked this with good intentions that Benny would be walked and mingle with other dogs but none of this happened. He is a friendly dog so we expected him to social with other dogs. They stay in concrete floored kennels and Benny was returned with blood stained elbows and sores presumably from laying on concrete too long. We had given them two blankets for Benny to lay/sleep on and I doubt they were even handed to Benny. Benny only stayed there for 6 days and I'm disappointed in the state he came back in. The staff never said anything about his elbows/sores, they probably didn't even notice. If you really care for your dog, please go somewhere else.
Our Dog has stayed here 3 times in the last year. Each time the service has been superb. Staff all very friendly and really get to know your dog. We have used several kennels over the years, some good, some bad, but this is the best by far. We now don't have to worry about leaving Mila for a few days as we know she will be well looked after.
Absolutely love this kennels and cattery I’ve used valley kennels for my dogs previously and now our cats for 30 years … admittedly my dogs were kennel dogs at home so they were happy and my cats never bother going in to the cattery and staff look after our pedigree kitties so well.. I read some of the reviews and think mmm … I’d definitely recommend here.. even my husbands dog who’d never seen a kennels and we kennelled him here at an age of 14 and he was super and well cared for.

Great cattery, staff are always friendly and welcoming. And my cats are always returned happy and calm. The photo updates on social media are great to see how well they are doing. I have used this place several times and would highly recommend them.
Avoid!!! My poor boy was left in the kennel for 4 nights to lie in his own pee without as much as a walk because hes terrified of putting the slip lead on they said for the safety of staff members they cant risk putting his harness on him hes not an aggressive dog i have 2 small kids at home its was just a new environment and was scared. He has been left traumatised from this. Had to get family member to collect him early as when i called to check on him they informed me he hasnt left the kennel for a walk this is just cruel!! Also dont believe he wouldn't go a walk i don't think they even tried as he loves his walks.
Extremely disappointed in the service we received. We were on holiday in Thailand and books Lola in for a 13 night stay. Received a call from the kennels on day 11 asking us to collect Lola as she had damaged her paw pads. Damage I may add encouraged by the kennels encouraging energetic play on a hard, concrete surface. It appears however that they were more interested in how they would get paid before they would release Lola to our neighbour and asked if I could transfer the money to my neighbour so that they could be paid. From Thailand on a Saturday and we were 7 hours ahead. I agreed to pay them over the phone and Lola was released into the care of my neighbour. They were more interested in getting paid than in Lola’s welfare. They couldn’t wait two days until we returned. When she got home, she didn’t (couldn’t) bark. She had lost her voice. I discussed this with my vet who said that this can occur when the subject is continuously barking for long periods of time. There is absolutely no duty of care offered here and they are not interested in administering and care to any damage or injury albeit a result of their negligence in failing to notice any change in your pet. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID !
I can’t explain how good this cattery has been. Had our two boys here for 10 days, they’re long haired and in a previous cattery had come back quite scruffy, but picked them up from Valley this morning and they look, smell and feel as if they’ve been groomed daily and looked after so well. They seem to have had a great time (one of them didn’t even want to get in the carrier to come home). The cattery also posted photos of them on the Facebook page every day, which made being away a lot easier, as I could see each day how they were doing. Will definitely only use this cattery from now on. The staff are super friendly and helpful too!
They charged us the full amount on drop off and our family again on collection. Our dog came home with an injured nose. We also left our portioned bags of our dogs regular food because his stomach is sensitive to change and there was nearly 2 days of food left in his bag when we collected him. They told us our dog ate one of his toys, stuffing and all, which makes sense since they apparently weren't feeding him. Very disappointed with how our dog was treated and won't be using again.
I was really impressed by PetStay Glasgow from the start - Jane is very professional and inspires confidence. She asked for a lot of information about our lab Grace before matching her with a sitter. Grace was with Eleanor and family for 2 weeks and she couldn't have been better looked after. Eleanor was very good at keeping in touch and sent daily news and excellent videos and photos of Grace. Grace was also given a variety of walks and activities (she even 'helped' with the recycling) and looked happy and very much herself. Eleanor clearly cares about the dogs she looks after and does an amazing job. We will certainly be using PetStay again, and would love to have Eleanor and family look after Grace again.
Martin and Kelly and their children welcomed Austin and Gladys back to their home and treated them extremely well. They kept us updated with photos and messages. They even threw Austin a birthday party while he was there with cakes and presents. I couldn’t be happier with their care🤗 …
Our dog Meg was fantastically looked and cared for by Lorraine and family , Lorraine kept us updated with pictures and videos of her stay with her family , Meg looked like she was from home to home , out every day playing with her new found friends Lorraine's daughter and son , especially she loved Lorraine, the service we was giving was 100%+ as I was not sure leaving Meg with anyone as she was used to family members looking after her but Lorraine made memories and security in my heart , would recommend this company Pet stay to anyone they would not let you down and ensure your pet is suitable with the right person like we had , only thing that we can say is that Meg is missing Lorraine and family thank you again Pet stay and Lorraine for looking after Meg and she woofs you all.
This was our first time using Petstay and won't be our last. Our 18 month old cockapoo Rico stayed 7 days with Joanna and her terrier Roger. I was really worried about leaving Rico but could see Joanna loved dogs , she continued with Ricos routine, ensuring he had plenty of exercise each day and Roger was happy to have a friend . Joanna sent us videos/ photos each day which we all loved getting, he's going back again in a couple of monhhs for 2 weeks . We had such a fantastic experience using PetStay - from the get go Jane put us at ease and explained how the process worked. She took as much information as she could about our dog Chase to ensure she matched us to the perfect carer. We were matched with Lorraine and her family. On the first visit with Lorraine we knew Chase would be in safe hands. When dropping him off for the week we felt anxious as this was the first time he had stayed anywhere except family but that settled very quickly when we seen how happy he was to see Lorraine. Every day we received pictures and feedback of what he got upto that day and lets just say he was definitely on his holidays too. Eleanor and her whole family made our petstay experience amazing. She and all of her family gave our collie Dornie the most amazing care while we were on holiday. We got regular updates as to how he was settling in, which was extremely reassuring for us and laid our minds to rest so we could enjoy our holiday. Eleanor took gorgeous photos and sent us loads, we really appreciated this! All in all, I think Eleanor has been our best dog sitter ever, and we would love to have her and her lovely family to look after Dornie again. We liked the company Petstay too, it was easy to set up our pet care, our sitter was very well matched to our Dornie. All in all, a great service, I would give 6* if I could! Many thanks :)
I can’t rate PetStay Glasgow highly enough. Jane paired our dog up with a lovely family to take care of our dog while we went on holiday. The service from PetStay is exceptionally professional and thoughtful from start to finish, and our dog had a wonderful time when we were away. He was paired with a perfect family. The family he boarded with sent us a photo and an update each day, which put our minds at rest and we could see how happy our dog was. He even went to the beach! I am extremely grateful to Jane and the family who took exceptional care of our pup when we were away. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend PetStay and I would be very happy to use them again in the future.
Goodness, where to start. I have only very positive things to say about my entire experience using Pet Stay. From my initial contact with Jane, who was so helpful, thorough and very quickly matched my dog to his hosts. Marie and Kenny are just lovely people. They were wonderful hosts. So kind, friendly and very accommodating. Skipper settled so well and just had the best time with them. He was on lovely walks/went to the cafe which he loves and I was kept up to date via messages and pictures during Skipper's stay. I will absolutely use Pet Stay again, and would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone A fantastic experience, hence the 5 stars.
Was a bit worried as haven't left poppy with anyone for more than few days, We met Jean , Pat & jasmine before leaving poppy with them, We were sent photos of poppy & she settled well throughout her stay. When your dog is such a huge part of your life, you want the best for them. Kitkat is a sensitive dog and we knew kennels would not be a good fit for her. So imagine our relief, when from the very first meeting, Kitkat was relaxed and happy with Alice and Bernard Stuart. It was so obvious she would be happy and settled that we went home and booked the dates right away! During our holiday Kit was in a home from home environment. She was able to sit where she liked and sleep where she liked. Kit enjoyed walks by water and met the local wildlife. She was looked after so well, we could see from the photos how she was doing. The attached photos were sent to us during our holiday by Alice. I would not hesitate to recommend petstay to anyone. Jane is fabulous, very thorough and efficient. An altogether brilliant service from a wonderful team! We are looking at dates next year already!
This is definitely the best daycare around. My Bobby has been going here since he was a puppy (after his jags etc). I defy anyone to tell me that he is not happy going here. As soon as I mention "are you going to see your friends" he jumps around like one happy boy. Lisa, Tony, Nicola & the team are amazing. The time and attention they give the dogs while in their care are second to none, which can be seen with the numerous pictures, videos etc they take. My wee man Bruno has been a staple at Chilled Dawgz for a little over a year now. I cannot fathom to think what i would have done if weren't for Lisa and the team! I am 100% certain that Bruno is well taken care of every week day from pickup to drop off! The team treats the wee ones as if they were their own! Bruno is always super excited to see Tony every single morning! He even waits at the window to see him coming in the van! He knows the van all too well! I would 100% recommend anyone who has a fur baby and needs them to be taken care of during the day to give Chilled Dawgs a go! Our puppy Shih Tzu Milo started going to dog daycare at Chilled Dawgz. He absolutely loves it. He is so excited when we drive up to the daycare to be going in. All the staff are friendly and Milo has gotten to know them and really loves seeing them. It has really helped Milo with socialisation. We can’t thank the team enough for looking after our wee Milo. He is just so happy here.
Bear started doggy daycare at Chilled Dawgz last summer as a 1 year old, super energetic puppy. When we lost our older, bigger dog at the end of last year, this service has helped Bear stay socialised with other dogs. Lisa and the team are exceptional and I have no worries leaving Bear in their care.
Arthur started only a month ago and now if I say "Are you going to see Lisa and Nicola" he gets so happy and excited! I was worried with him being a lockdown pup that he wouldn't settle in but he loves it at Chilled Dawgz!! Yous are wonderful! I'm delighted with the amazing care you give my pup!!

We brought our Shih Tzu puppy here for day-care during our holiday in Glasgow. We were very happy with the initial contact and when we arrived to bring our dog we knew we had chosen the right Daycare for our doggie. The staff are very friendly, the space for the dogs is clean and bright and there is an outside play pen too. They are also conveniently situated just off the Great Western Road. We can highly recommend them!
Jacqui is the best there is for taking care of your furry family. Nothing is too much for her, she goes out of her way to accommodate and give the best care to your dogs. Our dog Maple adores her and knows when the van is arriving at the house! Jacqui also takes the time to sit with you to learn about your dog, she’s very careful about when she can be sure of recall with them before letting them off lead and loves your dog like her own. Jacqui is like one of our family now, we would be lost without her!
Jacqui has been taking our big bouncy Golden Retriever out for nearly a year. She has been, without a doubt, the best dog walker we've had. She is a pleasure to deal with. First of all Jacqui is a dog lover and has a fantastic attachment to all her dogs. She first took one of our dogs almost 10 years ago and he absolutely loved going with Jacqui. He was always at the door waiting excitedly for her because he always got a good long walk in lots of interesting wild places. Charlie is now too old to go on these walks but young Max has taken over the mantle and has every bit as much fun as every dog deserves. And of course Charlie still greets Jacqui excitedly when she picks up Max. We have never regretted using Wild Side Walks and would recommend her to anyone. Professional, reliable, trustworthy - Jacqui knows and understands dogs and their needs (a real live dog whisperer 😀). She is absolutely brilliant, can’t thank her enough.

Bailey absolutely loves Jacqui and always comes home thoroughly exhausted having clearly had a great time. If you’re looking for a reliable and professional dog walking service who will care for your dog as though they’re their own then you can’t do better than Wild Side Walks.
Jacqui loves and treats her clients dogs as if they were her own. She always make sure the walks are a new adventure. My pup lived with her for an entire summer and I could tell he was very loved and happy and spoiled! She truly cares and loves dogs. Highly recommend her. I felt more relaxed knowing my pup was somewhere that he was happy, loved and having lots of fun.
I cannot recommend Jacqui and Wild Side walks highly enough. It is a shame that my boxer Lucy can't give the review as she just loves her! Lucy jumps up as soon as I say jacqui's names, runs to her van and comes back happy and tired. Also usually muddy, which is a sign of a good adventure walk! I started using Jacqui when I moved to the area. I was careful about who I picked as I have had some bad experiences in the past - you really do need to do your homework when picking a dog walking company - but Jacqui and Wild Side walks have been fantastic 😊🐕🦺
Extremely kind and helpful. Were very patient explaining the prices, booking and the grooming process. Very knowledgeable of what a guinea pig needs and made me feel very safe in leaving one of my piggies with them for the day. Came back to pick him up and he looks great, and seemed to be in very good spirits despite having been away all day. Got my piggie home and he was immediately back to himself and happy with his new look and much more comfortable. Cannot praise Furry Friends enough!
Took my kids guinea pigs to get their nails trimmed, including aromatherapy. Mike and Alison were lovely, and did a grand job. The guinea pigs came home, and were so relaxed, they didn't leave their pet carrier for 3 hours. Their nails look fantastic. 2 content piggles, and one happy owner. Highly recommend.
We've used Furry Friends Hotel for our rabbit any time we've been away for a few days, and we're always happy with the service we get. It's always hard to be away from our rabbit, but Furry Friends Hotel always make sure that we've got pictures and keep in close contact with updates about how she's getting on (which is fantastic, as we're always nervous so the reassurance is greatly appreciated!). They're always very friendly, flexible with times and even offer a taxi service for your pet.
Our bunnies Poppy and Alfie were recently looked after by Mike and his team. We are absolutely delighted with the care and attention that was given to them during their stay. Would highly recommend Furry friends hotel.

Our piggies have stayed with Furry Friends Hotel on more than one occasion and have been pampered each and every time. When away myself and my partner can relax knowing our girls are in great hands and will recieve the utmost of care. Mike and Alison seem to simply love small animals and score high in conscientiousness, even catering to our little ladies sensitive tummies. If you are searching for a safe and doting home for your furry friends while you are away then look no further. Furry Friends Hotel really cannot be recommended highly enough!
This place is grand. Anytime I leave town with the family the family guinea pig stays here. We are always super happy with the service and the prices are fair and reasonable. Recommend this place 5/5.
Our bunny Bridget always has a lovely time at the Furry Friends Hotel. She is well cared for and gets pampered. She always returns home relaxed and happy. Would highly recommend!
This place is amazing! Have been meaning to leave a review for a while, they are kind and thoughtful and clearly care about every animal they look after. Would recommend to anyone looking for somewhere for their pets, they are very communicative and give helpful updates so you never need to worry about your furry friends. Their grooming service is also impeccable, my bunnies never are stressed after, which cannot be said when I try myself.

I engaged Mo to cat sit so long ago it was in a time pre Covid! It was obvious from the start her passion for cats and empathy for their owners. The feeling was mutual. The first time she cat sat she sent a pic of Felix on her chest. One of the last times she looked after them she spotted blood in the litter tray so inspected the cat and made an extra visit later to check there wasn't any more. I recommended her to a friend and she performed cat sitting duties and helped my mate out when a stray cat she fed was sick and later sadly passed away. Not technically part of the service. I should have written a review before now. Today personified her love for animals and care for owners when she helped me in a really compassionate way when my cat had just been run over. She was mid dog walking service but did not hesitate to take control, drove me to a vet and assured me he was unconscious and blissfully unaware which is what every owner needs to hear when their animal is dying. She even swept me up and took me home afterwards. All the while making sure the dogs were still getting what they needed. Like some of the other reviews have said I can't recommend highly enough for authentic client and animal focused service. If I could give 10 stars I would and hope to use her services again some day. Mo and Reno have looked after Willow for 2.5 years for daily walks, daycare and overnights when I have had to travel for work. Willow loved being part of the pack and always returned mud free, well exercised and happy! Their care and love for the animals they care for is clear. They are reliable and never let me or Willow down and I was very sad to have to separate Willow from the pack when we had to move from Scotland. I cannot recommend them enough and you should have no hesitation is trusting your pets, of any size to their care. This is a Completely positive review of Tails and Adventures! Their attitude to humans is totally professional and their attitude to the animals extremely kind and caring. We felt very safe to hand our pets (and the keys of our home) over - really appreciated the sensible questions (where's the pet carrier if there's an emergency etc) which put us at ease before we left and then appreciated the updates while we were away. Our cats brought a mouse home while we were away which shows how much they loved their new babysitter and it was dealt with easily and with an appropriate level of humour. When we got back all three cats were relaxed and had clearly been well looked after. Highly recommended if you need a pet-sitter while you are away. The only drawback is I'm not sure the cats missed us.
Mo and Reno have looked after Bella since we first adopted her. She absolutely loves her walks and we are so grateful that she's well looked after and cared for when she's out with Tails & Adventures. Wouldn't feel comfortable leaving her with anyone else.
Our dog, Peggy, has been going on weekly walks with Mo & Reno since she was a puppy - I think it's the highlight of her week! They take her on lovely and safe walks where she can run around happily with the other dogs. We're very thankful we came across Tails & Adventures as they provide such a fantastic service and are very trustworthy & reliable people.
Mo and Reno have looked after Holly for a number of years now and I can't recommend them highly enough. They have a great bond with her which is clear by the crazy welcome she gives them every day when they arrive to take her out! She always comes home from her walks tired, happy and content. Mo and Reno always go above and beyond to help with Holly in any way they can and I trust them completely to take good care of her.
Tails and Adventures are great with our black Labrador and we have used them for years. Always reliable and responsive with great communication. We trust them and know our dog is well looked after. Highly recommended service and lovely people.
