Emily was a great pet sitter. I appreciated that she thoroughly read through the house guide and even though she applied with her boyfriend... after reading the guide she asked if it would be okay for him to come for part of the stay- a sign of maturity and respect. The house was SPOTLESS when we came home- just as clean as we left it and the dogs and cat were happy! ... as well as all of the plants being well-watered. She was responsive with communication and we really appreciated her caring for our home and pets so well. I would gladly have Emily sit again for us anytime she's available!
Jill was great! She showed up on time and she left the house tidy. My kitty took to her right away and I appreciated the fact that she was willing to give Ginger daily medication - which is not Ginger's favorite thing. She was also good about keeping me posted about things going on around the house. I will definitely have her back.
We absolutely loved house sitting for Becky and Mark while they were away. They were incredibly kind and accommodating to us, and communication was fantastic. Becky left us with so much advice and information, so we immediately felt very comfortable in their lovely home and local area. The house is modern, was left very clean and tidy, and had everything we needed for a month. The hardest thing about the sit was saying goodbye to Blue at the end! We became really attached to him over our stay, and we will definitely miss taking him out into the Downs every day and cuddling on the couch. He was a breeze to look after, and a really lovely natured and affectionate dog. We would absolutely recommend house-sitting for Becky and Mark - we certainly would do it again!
Peter and Sue were lovely hosts. They treated us to a delicious dinner the night we arrived. The sunset from their patio is exquisite and they gave us some excellent tips for exploring the surrounds. Their home is spacious and made for a very comfortable stay. Spirou is an easy going cat. He mostly lies about wherever it’s warmest, but is occasionally sociable if you give him scratches behind the ears.
This sit way exceeded expectations - between the smart, loving and sassy dogs and the warm welcome by the host family! We admit to feeling like we had walked into a landscape painting as the viewscape from the home and environs was so very gorgeous. All three pups were just great - always up for a walk, playful yet obediant. The perfect companions for a rural idyll. We had a wonderful meal prepared by our hosts on arrival and were shown two of the pups usual walks. There is a ton of history nearby - more than you might expect. Quite a treat to climb to top of Dunadd. We respect this families stewardship of the land as well. We would love to return anytime fingers crossed! Thanks again and give the pups some extra fuss from us!
There is just something about Shannon and Mike's place that means 'relaxation'! Terra was a hoot and she and my terrier, Mocha entertained me several times a day with zoomies!! I loved sitting outside in the mornings and evenings and just relaxing. Some folks may not want to be this far from downtown area (all of about 6 miles), but for the serenity and welcoming feeling, for me it was perfect. Terra was a lovely 'host' to Mocha and me and we'd be thrilled to do this again when we plan our next June's trip! Thank you Shannon, Mike and Terra!
Susan and Jhennifer are really kind and welcoming. I had a great week with a cutie dog and three lovely cats ! The bedroom was perfect like whole the house ! Thank you for your trust !
We had an amazing sit at Camille's home! They are a lovely family, with a nice energy and the communication from the begining was very easy and fluid. They prepared everything for us to make us feel comfortable an explained us how everything works and how was the pet's routine. And what about Botas, Misch and Trouble? Our daugther that will be soon 2 years old was in love with Botas, he is a very kind and nice dog and we enjoyed so much our time playing with them, specially with the tennis ball :) Misch and Trouble love to be outdoors, they are lovely and very easy to take care of. Their place, even if it was not 100% finished at the moment of our sit, was amazing, very comfortable and with stunning views of the see. Plus there were many toys and books that our daughter could play with and "read". We highly recommend them! Thank you family <3
