This was Renee's second time at our home, and she is just wonderful. Our cats were so well-loved and cared for, they practically ignored us the first two days of our return! It lets us know how much they enjoyed their time with her. Adding to that, we arrived to a clean, wonderfully staged home in which she tended to so many details we wouldn't have even thought of! And, to boot, our plants looked healthier than before we left. Renee is returning in just two weeks and I know our cats will be as excited to have her back as we are. Renee is a gem!
As I'm close by, I offered to visit Lynne to see if I could help. Meeting Jackson, Kiki and Coco gave me an opportunity to discuss their needs in detail with Lynne. She took time to give me all the information I needed and answered all my questions so I felt 100% comfortable saying yes. Lynne provided me with a comprehensive house pack and walked me through things I wanted a bit more information on before they left. I looked after Kiki and Coco as Jackson was at the dog sitters. They are such sweet well behaved girls who love eachother's company and settled really well with me. Kiki's medication is straightforward and I knew what to do if she became unwell. They sleep well through the night, and their routines are well established making their care very easy. I got lots of cuddles and they were happy to snuggle and get tummy rubs from me. The house is beautiful and I felt very safe and comfortable. I slept well in a lovely room and had everything I needed for my stay. I'm so glad I was able to help and I'd be delighted to spend time with these special pups again.
This is a tricky housesit to review because there were a few major mishaps. On the other hand, some of the worst things were somewhat beyond Juliette's control, yet she took responsibility for it, which was honorable & which is why I am giving the sit 4 stars. I'll avoid giving more details about what happened because I doubt future housesitters will face similar challenges. What matters is that Juliette is a good person & that her dogs are also great. Although Greyhounds are the fastest dogs, they are NOT high energy or high maintenance. Therefore, do not get intimidated if you're considering taking care of a bunch of Greyhounds. They are easy to care for! This housesit is best if you enjoy solitude.
We had a great half term break looking after Anna’s beautiful and very playful cats. Anna was an amazing host and made us feel so welcome and comfortable in her lovely home. She was so thoughtful and generous and made sure we had everything we could possibly need and was easy to communicate with. It was a very relaxing experience and such a great location too!
I truly enjoyed taking care of Dakota, she is a sweetheart! Very well behaved and loves to play. Kimberly's apartment is great and centrally located, everything was right at hand. We communicated well and I hope I get another opportunity to take care of Dakota!
Even if the event Liz and Carrot wanted to go to was cancelled - the reason why I got the chance to sit the house - they let me stay at the farm free. Boom. I got the chance to hang with the greatest dog e-v-e-r. Could take Harry to the beach, running, the cats are cuddly and Stink slept in front of the flat everyday. The horses have great characters and you can hang out with them on the grass with some tea and they listen to everything you wanna tell. The house…well farm and the area is great if you enjoy spending time in peace, mountainish green valleys. Liz and Carrot habe a great sense of humor are chill and created an area with a positive vibe. I was working online in the day - what was no problem. Wonderful experience. Thanks to them both, the animals and the mountains. Long live Harry ❤️
Julie and Mark have a beautiful house with a big family and we were pleased to have the opportunity to stay with Otis, Buster & Mabel. They are all very loving and very affectionate and really a pleasure to be with. Julie and Mark went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed whilst we were there and even mailed across a forgotten item after we had left the sit. Thanks for everything and would recommend!
