WOULD NOT RECOMMEND; Unfortunately, our experience of Natasha and her partner is sadly not that others appear to have had. We needed a sitter for two nights to care for our two dogs, two elderly cats and house while we had a couple of nights away for our youngest son’s wedding. Our usual house sitters weren’t available, and we had arranged for another sitter from zeewoi but just a few weeks from the wedding she had to pull out due to ill health. I republished the dates and Natasha applied. We arranged a video call as I always want to do this prior to agreeing for a sitter so I can meet them beforehand especially if they are not local and able to visit prior to the sit. It was only going to be Natasha and her son Colby and not her partner that were going to do the sit so the video call was only with her. Natasha and Colby arrived, and I ran through all the instructions for the house and pets and in particular that as we have several acres of land that the dogs were to be inside after dark. I left happy in the knowledge that Natasha and Colby were looking forward to a quiet evening watching a movie. Having enjoyed a family dinner and heading off to bed to get some sleep before the big day I notice several notifications on my phone from my external home security cameras. This was at 10.30pm and after dark and I notice that my little dog was out the front of the property and had been there since 10pm and no one was letting him even though he was barking. I then checked the other camera notifications, and I was shocked to not only see a man at my property, but he was exiting a rear patio door that was wide open with loud music coming from the room he had just left, and he was undressed. This room is my husband’s special room that holds a lot of his memorabilia from his early life which is important to us as a family as he now has dementia. I felt physically sick imagining what was going on in my property and especially this room. I contacted Natasha to ask what was going on and why were the dogs out when I had given specific instructions for them to be inside and who was the man at my property that I had not given permission to be there. She confirmed it was her partner and that he had inadvertently let the dogs out!!! I was furious but it was too late to do anything then, but I didn’t sleep all night worrying about my home and pets. In the morning, I managed to contact some friends who kindly rearranged their plans and took over. Natasha was asked to vacate the property as I needed to be happy that my home and pets were in good hands to be able to enjoy my son’s special day. This couple broke all the rules for being a Zeewoi, they were dishonest, and were disrespectful and I feel like they violated our property, they did not care for our pets as they had been asked and have tarnished the memory of our son’s wedding day. I would not recommend or trust them as sitters.

We had a lovely stay with Wasabi, he really is the most chilled and friendly dog.
Nick and Alyson’s place is a beautiful family home and the handover was very straightforward.
We enjoyed local walks and exploring some of the stunning towns and villages nearby.
Nick was on hand via text to help with any queries.
All in all a great house sit experience.

Darrin
We had an excellent and enjoyable sit at Darrin and Lucy’s, looking after Nelson (Nelly) their beautiful Staffie and their property in Clare, Suffolk.
Nelson is an adorable boy with whom we bonded in a short space of time. He enjoyed his walks in the local country park and his game of “fetch” with the ball on his afternoon walk. He’s a very chill dog and would happily lay close by us in the evening while we watched TV, and also play at being a lap dog when it took his fancy.
The property we looked after is a modern house, approximately 5 years old, with all modern conveniences and a secure rear garden containing a fish pond which we monitored for water level and leaf content, but as it was winter there was no requirement to feed the fish.
Clare is a small town, very friendly people, numerous activities during our visit due to seasonal conditions (Christmas time) and a lovely park in which to walk Nelson. Several coffee shops exist, but our favourite was Platform 1, the old railway line station waiting room, and we were frequent visitors to there with Nelson on our morning walk.
Darrin and Lucy have many friends in the town and we were introduced to some of them who helped us out during our stay with car rides etc to enable us to do grocery shopping as during our stay we were without our own transport. We’ve become firm friends ourselves with these people and enjoyed spending time with them in a social capacity too.
For our arrival, Darrin and Lucy made sure that we had everything we needed for the start of our sit prior to being able to do our own grocery shopping and exploration. They guided us through their welcome manual and made sure that we were comfortable before their next day departure on their holiday and then while they were away we made sure to update them regularly with what was happening and how Nelson was. Communication was excellent, they always responded to our messages in a timely manner, as the time difference would allow.
We would heartily recommend anyone considering a sit for this family to apply as we’re sure you’d enjoy it as much as we have.
