Melissa was fantastic during our holiday house sit. She even went out of her way to meet us and the fur family prior to her sit while visiting Bend. Our house was left impeccably clean, she sent periodic updates over text and our animals seemed low anxiety when we returned. We'd love to have Melissa back and recommend her for others animals.
Hannah and Catherine were fantastic sitters! Our pets & home were well cared after. We’d highly recommend them to anyone.
Mack is a wonderful dog, and we both fell in love with him immediately. He is a happy, high energy guy who likes to keep close to his caregivers. He’s cuddly and gets along great with people and other dogs. Bo & JP are gracious and kind, and a pleasure to get to know! Their home, yard, view, and neighbourhood were absolutely lovely. The wood stove and hot tub also helped make everything warm and cozy at the house. Would love to sit for them again!
I was pet sitting Squinty in September 2022, and it was my first pet sitting experience with TrustedHousesitters. I am so thankful that my first sit was with Marion and Squinty! Marion was very kind to me and explained everything in details, she also provided me with a great guide so I knew what to expect, how to take care of Squinty, and my sit was very enjoyable. I always could reach out to her whenever I had any questions - Marion made sure that I felt safe and comfortable at her home. Squinty is the most social, loving, and smart cat I ever seen in my life. First day I was scared to go out to the rooftop with him but I am so happy I did it the next day! We both realy enjoyed it, and he came back home right after I called his name and opened the door. He also likes to play and cuddle. Marion has a great appartment in a very nice area. The location is amazing - it is close to subway, park, and supermarkets. There’s also a rooftop in the building - the best place to meditate/do stretching/ have brunch during hot summer days. I highly recommend pet sitting with Marion and Squinty!
Elizabeth and family have such a nice house in a great, walkable area. Their dog, Snow, is the easiest dog to care for. She is happy to just be near by and loves her walks in the neighborhood, the local park or at the beach! Such a fun sit!
Andrea and Frank were a joy from start to finish. Andrea’s very friendly & easy to get to know - extremely flexible, thoughtful, kind and welcoming. We worked well together throughout the sit, taking everything in stride as we went along. Having only moved 2 months, Andrea didn’t have the usual welcome guide on THS but sent me an abbreviated version on whatsapp. We also spoke & texted to fill in what I needed to know about Frank ahead of the sit. I felt both comfortable and completely at ease throughout. Communication was good. Despite her tight schedule, Andrea made sure everything was sitter ready and handed over a sitter ready home - which is always much appreciated by sitters. Farsley is an accessible location and the house is in a nice neighborhood & conveniently located to nearby amenities. Supermarkets, shops, eateries. Leeds is a stone’s throw away by train, bus or Uber. The local high street is walking distance. It was raining a fair bit the short time I was there but Frank more than made up for the weather. He’s an absolute joy to sit, independent, incredibly well behaved, affectionate and loved company. We hit it off from the moment I arrived and bonded nicely. Just give him time & space to trust you. Win his trust to unravel his endearing personality, lap snuggles on his terms of course. Best to let him come to you to ask for a good fuss. Truly such a joy and a breeze to care for and tons of fun. He loved being combed & playtime. He loves his toy mice & plays fetch, going outside to play and hunt. It resonated with me the commitment Andrea made in giving Frank a loving home . She’s a dotting cat mum and loves Frank to bits. Frank is clearly a happier kitty for it. In closing, massive thanks Andrea for picking and trusting me with darling Frank and your cozy home. I miss my full on conversations and snuggles with him. He’s such an endearing intuitive kitty and I love him for it. I recommend this sit and the absolute joy of sitting darling Frank.
I had a great time hanging out with Kane! We took walks through the neighborhood and met quite a few of the neighbors and their owners along the way. Although Kane is deaf, he is far from boring. He gets along with other dogs very well playing ball and fetch are his forte. In their gorgeous home, Pranee provided weekend essentials (toothbrush/toothpaste, towel, face cloth, and Q-tips) and a nice comfortable guest room. Communicating with Pranee was easy when I locked myself out of the house. Thanks for trusting me with Kane.
