Nadia sat for our cat Leo for six weeks and we couldn't be happier with her care of Leo, and of our home. Nadia sent us regular updates and pix of Leo without us needing to ask. She went above and beyond with some extra help I needed with the house, and was always communicative, friendly and reliable. Cannot recommend her highly enough. She even bought Leo a Christmas present, which says it all really.

Marcus & Lissa

This is a much delayed review (my fault!) for Lissa and Marcus' second house sit for me. Just like before, the communication before, during and after their sit was impeccable. Lissa sent so many cute pics of my pup and Marcus snuggled up on the couch. It's clear they love dogs and are very responsible. Again they left my place in great shape. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone and would have them again in a heartbeat!

Breanna & Andrew

We invited Breanna and Drew back after their original visit here in September. We’ve had at least three other capable TH sitters, and by a wide margin, Bre & Drew have been the best and most genuine in connecting with our dog, Sammy. (He would happily adopt them as permanent parents!) In addition during this visit we were off the grid and unreachable for more than two weeks. Bre & Drew handled that with calm, and handled the unexpected contingencies with aplomb.

Richard and Glenna were a pleasure to host. They were quick and easy to communicate with before and during their stay. They were great with our energetic dog and accommodating of our plans, staying late to give our pup supper the night we got home. We also came back to a tidy house. They’re welcome back any time and would be a great guest for anyone else considering them.

Suzette

Suzette cared for our border collie pup, 20 year old cat and two horses, for two weeks. The stay was included Christmas Day. Suzette was joined by her husband and two young adult children, and ‘Carmen’ , their berniedoodle! So they had a full house! Everything went smoothly…we texted and zoomed prior to ther artival. We met with Suzette and Pat for a couple hours prior to leaving. It was difficult leaving our new 5 mo old pup with strangers, but Suzette made it much easier, sending many updates, pics and videos to us during their stay. Our pup seemed to get along very well with everyone, especially Carmen! Having another dog to play with probably made the transition easier for pup. When we got home, our animals were happy and healthy and the house was super clean! They had decorated for Christmas which was really sweet to come home to. Suzette and her daughter had even accepted an invitation to attend the Xmas play at our tiny rural school, which was really nice! All in all everything went smoothly, and our pets were Ivan obviously good and caring hands! Highly recommend Suzette and her family, and of course Carmen! 😊

Amberleigh

Amberleigh was an absolute star pet-sitter and house-sitter. Communication was great from the very beginning. While we were away our pets were cared for extremely well and we returned home to two very happy pets and a clean and tidy home. Thank you Amberleigh for including Poppy in your many adventures around Auckland. We loved receiving the great photos and blogs about your adventures together. We would highly recommend Amberleigh and we hope that one day we may be able to use her again if she ever comes back to New Zealand.

Emily

Emily was delightful and took great care of or two pups and our home. She's an excellent communicator and sent us regular updates and pictures. Our female, Harper, has developed an unfortunate behavior of just sitting down in the middle of the street and not moving. To Emily's credit she had the patience to cajole Harper into getting off her butt and carrying on with their walk, which is no mean feat! We are so grateful to her for looking after them so well and helping us with various things we needed help with. We'd have no hesitation in recommending Emily to anyone looking for a kind, caring, human being to look after their animals.

Quin & Julie

Quin and Julie loved our dog Wrigley as if he was their own - letting him sit next to them in the chair or cuddle on the couch. Pictures and a video were sent to us while we were gone showing us Wrigley was having fun! Our home was neat and tidy - and they even put the bed sheets in the wash before they left. Quin was kind enough to take us to the airport too!

Connie and Paul are a generous, inspiring couple who have created a wonderful home for themselves and their feline family in a gorgeous corner of three countries: France, Switzerland and Germany. Our time was regrettably too short for us to get really close to their cats, but they all have distinctive personalities and  enough aloofness to make them easy to look after. We would thoroughly recommend this sit.

Rosemary and Tony are very welcoming to their warm and comfortable home. All our furry friends living there are equally welcoming and love to love you.  Excellent walks and scenery everywhere, everything you'd expect from The Cotswolds!

We were very fortunate to spend 2 weeks in Vienna sitting for Brigit's awesome kitty Rika.

We met Brigit briefly the morning of her departure and she gave us a rundown of her home and was extremely welcoming and thoughtful, leaving a clean and tidy home and everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. The garden is a lovely space to relax and observe Rika crouching in the vegetation or laying in the sun. It takes about 45 minutes to reach the center of Vienna, there is a well connected tram stop only 1 minute walk from the home so it's very convenient to reach other parts of the city, we spent some nice afternoons exploring.

Now for the best part - Rika will keep you entertained and feeling thankful to be a catsitter :-) She is independent and full of personality, she loves to play, nap, eat, and is highly affectionate. Often she likes to sit on us or sleep in the middle of the bed at night. Occasionally she will swipe or bite when playing or to end an interaction, but like Brigit mentions it's never with enough force to actually hurt you, so I wouldn't worry about this! 

Brigit is responsive and easy to communicate with, we had a great time with Rika and would definitely return again and we recommend this sit. Thank you Brigit!
