Would give 100 stars if I could! I felt so comfortable leaving my cat with Jennifer, he even had some health issues and she was so good with him. She even was able to give me some helpful advice for speciality cat care. Very kind and thoughtful and communicative, and left the apartment even cleaner than when I had left it! Thanks for loving my lil special man! We’d love to have you back!

I don't know if I have enough superlatives for our wonderful experience with Misty. She came to our home to care for two one-year-old bengal kittens - not a situation for the feint of heart. They loved her! We felt completely comfortable the entire time we were gone (8 days) that they were well cared for. She sent us pictures daily of their activities. When she left our home was spotless! We can't thank her enough for allowing us to have a needed get-a-away without worries.

Rebecca and Wayne have sat for us in the past and once again we were delighted with their pet care and they did an excellent job looking after the house. Everything was clean and tidy and the pets were very happy! I look forward to seeing them again for another sit.

Julie and Tim were awesome taking care of our three dogs and house for a week while were were out of the country. We only posted our needs about three weeks prior to our departure and luckily Tim and Julie live close enough (a one hour drive) that they were able to fit us in there schedule! Julie was even nice enough to make the trip down and back several days before so she could see the house and meet our cocker spaniels (who took to her immediately!). She had already studied up on materials I had sent her, so she was ready with questions and very organized. On our departure day they arrived a few hours after we left and on our return, we arranged for them to leave a few hours before our return so they could beat the traffic home. While we were away they texted us regularly with updates and photos and it was obvious the dogs and they were getting along well. We have one shy, insecure dog, who doesn't always take to new people, but he did just fine and competed with the others for lap space and attention! We live in a very hilly area but Julie and Tim are avid hikers so they enjoyed walking the dogs on our challenging roads and paths. We had some rain while away and the roof leaked a bit and the pool was threatening to overflow, both of which they contacted us about. They were even proactive and called the pool maintenance company just in case. On our return, the house was in perfect order, probably tidier than we left it, and linens and towels all washed, dried and folded, with beds made up. The dogs were happy of course to greet us, but since then, they have been looking around wondering where their new friends have gone! We were very lucky to find Julie and Tim and look forward to having them back! You will be lucky too if you engage them to take care of your pets and property!

We had a really enjoyable stay at Alan's house looking after the lovely Benji and Mitty. We were made to feel very welcome by Alan and family and enjoyed beautiful walks in the village and surrounding area.

Gaynor Williams
Gaynor and John welcomed us into their lovely home and on arrival even invited us to join them at their evening meal. They are an extremely sociable and friendly couple and made us feel at home immediately. We enjoyed looking after Neymar who really was no trouble at all as he is a very affectionate little dog who enjoyed our company, and would indicate to us when he wanted to go for walks which we did every day. We would be delighted to sit for them again.

Chloe
I’d noticed Dalmeny on my previous visits to Crammond and I’ve been interested in visiting for a while.
Chloe’s husband Malcolm welcomed me to their home and explained Millie’s routine. The estate is fantastic for walks with woods, beaches, the golf course and fantastic views just outside the door.
Millie walks very well on a lead and is fairly good off-lead but expect the odd diversion the beach. Around the house she is calm and friendly and became more and more cuddly during my stay. She does bark to let you know if someone approaches the house but because of the isolation this felt reassuring rather than a problem.
Chloe kept in touch and communicated very well.
The cleaner, Hannah, came twice during my stay, which I appreciated.
This is a great place for a retreat and to marvel how different the Firth of Forth appeared every day and Millie made a lovely companion.

Sally & Simon
I loved my sit at Sally & Simon's house, Shadow is the kindest kitty, always up for a cuddle and some company. I already miss him very much, I had such a nice and calm stay at their lovely home.

Sally and Simon were extremely welcoming and kind. I had the best time while sitting Shadow and would recommend it to anyone. The Old Convent is also such a nice community of people that help each other out and are very welcoming and friendly.

East Grinstead is a very nice town, their home is close to the supermarket and there are plenty of great walks all around!

Thank you again for your kindness and for giving me the chance to look after lovely Shadow.

Philippe & Brona
This was my very first official pet sit on trusted housesitters and it did not disappoint. I was a little nervous at first as there are GPS/ satellite monitored fitted collars on 3 beautiful bengal cats which I hadn't experienced before. The cats need to be checked on at night on system and if they aren't home by a reasonable time you need to check system and use it to locate cats. However after a few days you become very familiar and even often don't need to look for the cats as they come in themselves. The estate and grounds are absolutely stunning. I felt like a princess living there for the two and a half weeks. Brona and Philippe were gracious hosts as I met them a couple of times before doing the sit. Philippe even stocked the fridge for me and left wine and chocolates. The house is very warm and immaculately clean and I could have nice hot baths and warm open fires whenever I liked. I was even greeted by a neighbour coming up the drive on his horse one day to check on me. Now to the cats...You have beautiful big Beau, who's so gentle and loves treats. Belle who is a little more frisky and equally beautiful. Then there's Bijou who initially seemed like a cranky little lady but we grew to love each other so much she slept with me most nights. There was a sweet little yoga place nearby recommended by Brona and a physio and a beautician. The view of the trees and grounds from my bedroom was magnificent. The cats have their own cat flap and mostly come and go as they wish but need to be in by maybe 10 at night and mostly are of their own accord. The bedrooms are large and very beautifully decorated. There is a tiny village nearby with pub, shop, petrol pump and restaurant and about a fifteen min drive from the buzzy town of Gorey and maybe 35 min into Wexford Town. I felt very safe while I was there and loved every minute of it. Philippe adores his cats and is very passionate about them. Wonderful stay and one I'll never forget. Thank you both so much.
