Angela is a gem: friendly, organized, conscientious and helpful. She communicates well and promptly, and was very self-sufficient as I was away (with the occasional update pic!). She knew how to strike the right balance. My shy girl adored her, and Angela proved herself patient, level-headed and calm even in the face of dog antics! She is also very kind with pick up and drop off for travels, and in generously leaving me a houseplant that I took a liking to. I can’t recommend her enough, and wished she lived closer so that we might get together again. Any home and pet would be lucky to have her blend of warmth, humor and thoughtfulness.
Kalem, Tenille, and their children were beyond exceptional! They were on top of communicating before, during, and after the visit. When we arrived home, it was like no one had even been there; the house was clean, our plants were thriving, and our dogs were radiant. You could see by their doggy smiles they had been well loved and cared for. The questions they asked before and during were extremely thoughtful. They sent the most adorable photos of their family with our boys. In addition, we have quite finnicky neighbors when we have folks over with the dogs, of which I received nothing but high praises for the entire family. One neighbor said the dogs were under excellent control with Kalem. Another neighbor said the children were super diligent about waste pick up. A third neighbor talked about how friendly all four of them were. It was a total dream come true to have them stay at our house and care for our boys. In fact, when we plan another trip, they will be first ones we reach out to. Five stars is not enough.
We had a lovely month with Rocky in Buen Paso. Dinah was easy to communicate with, very kind and friendly and welcomed us warmly into her clean spacious home. On the first night she groom us out for dinner and to meet her lovely friends - assuring us we could reach out to them if we needed any help. Dinah also picked us up and dropped us off at the airport, which is over an house drive! Rocky is a very easy dog to look after, he loves having company close by and gets very excited for walk time. Rocky is funny, he loves to go for his two longer walks at very specific times of day, and loved his routine. If you try take him for his evening walk before 11pm there is no chance and he does do a good stand off 😂. Although he didn’t sleep in the bedroom, you will be comforted knowing he sleeps right outside, and is excited to see you for a morning pat when you wake up. As mentioned in the description, Rocky does love cats. Unfortunately we witnessed him get the better of one after a cat ventured into the house. Don’t be fooled however, Ricky is such a softie and really is such a sweet dog. We loved spending time with him. Dinah’s home is very clean and tidy, boating of lots of lovely places to sit and enjoy the sunshine. Located near a supermarket and the famous Garchico natural pools, it’s location is convenient.some of the neighbours are a bit noisy and the room does stay quite bright at night because of the street lamp outside the window. We just hung up an extra blanket by the glass door to have a nice dark room. We are very grateful also for the use of Dinah’s car! We were able to visit the other towns during our stay and often spent mornings at El Socorro beach which is about 15 mins away. Thank you Dinah for hosting us so beautifully! Look forward to seeing you again.

I highly recommend this sit. Margaret and David's home is spacious, comfortable and filled with art. It's in a nice, safe neighborhood walking distance to a coffee shop, small grocery store and a few restaurants. While a car isn't absolutely necessary, it makes exploring the area much easier. Pepper Pots is one of the sweetest and best behaved cats I've encountered. She's in and out much of the day but is also very friendly and affectionate. I spent many enjoyable evenings reading with her curled up on my lap. Thank you, Margaret and David! I would be happy to sit for Pepper again should the need arise!
Paul and Hilary are amazing hosts! Sadly, their sweet little kitty passed on before my arrival, but since I was traveling quite a distance, they still welcomed me to stay. I was so grateful! Their home is gorgeous and the perfect place to be to explore Brighton. I would love to return and hopefully care for a new little furry friend in the future. :)
Another successful sit completed. Beths home is lovely, a traditional converted townhouse with beautiful Victorian features and everything needed for a comfortable stay. The guest bedroom is very comfortable and spacious. You’re literally 1 minute walk to Byres Road with everything from bars, restaurants and parks right on your doorstep aswell as the underground station for easy access to the city centre. Looking after Maya was very enjoyable, she’s absolutely adorable, probably the bushiest tale I’ve ever seen on a cat. She warmed to me fairly quickly and was sleeping on the bed on the second night. She likes company and she’s happy to follow you around the place. A lovely cat with a cute little squeak 🐈. I’d highly recommend sitting for Beth.
