Steven & Abi
We enjoyed our short but sweet stay at Steven & Abi’s apartment! Suna & Bao are delightful and easy to care for. The apartment is centrally located, close to the bus & metro,
so moving about the city was a breeze. Our arrival schedule didn't allow us to meet Steven or Abi in person; but they are experienced, and Abi led us through a Zoom meeting to give us the details for our stay. We wouldn't hesitate to stay and cuddle with Suna and Bao again! Thank you, Abi and Steven.

Ocean
Ocean is respectful, kind, and communicative. His home is lovely, like a modern cabin, and feels like an oasis in the city. In addition, his beautiful garden is a relaxing and welcoming place.

George is a small cat with a big personality. He is super independent and spends a lot of time outside. However, George loves to hang out with you periodically throughout the day and evening. He is a good communicator and will let you know when he wants attention or treats you well.

It was a positive experience!

Jess
It was an absolute pleasure to look after Bruce who is the most adorable and affectionate dog. He was so patient and calm whilst I fiddled around fitting his harness the first couple of times, and when I took him to my daughter's home on Christmas day he fitted straight in with 4 other dogs, and could have been adopted 4 times over! Jess' home is modern, bright, clean and warm and although there's a busy main road very near, I heard no traffic noise at all. Lots of communication with Jess before and during the sit and she always responded to any queries I had even though she was on holiday. Anybody who has the luck to look after Bruce in the future will love him.

Jane and Steve are a lovely, friendly couple with 5 beautiful and well behaved fur-babies. It was a pleasure to care for them and I enjoyed lots of love and cuddles. A very recommended house-sit!

Carol
What a perfect weekend at Carol & Mike’s.  It was so relaxing, we didn’t even do any sightseeing!  Just spent hours roaming with the dogs. Though we did go out for a lovely meal at one of the places they had recommended.  We would absolutely sit again as it is wonderfully located – older big towns, the sea, and major roads are only a short drive away.  The house is lovely and very comfortable, and everything is so organised.  Their dream home?  Now my dream home!  They have a printed Welcome Guide which also includes maps of local walks (do take photos of these maps, they really help when you’re out!).  Any instructions are well laid out, which helped us feel very confident in the sit.  And of course, they’d left us chocolates in the bedroom – so thoughtful. Oh, and a delicious homemade meal for our first night there!

On to Maya and Lando, oh where to start. We were sat at home after the sit missing them!  The work that Carol and Mike have put into training them really shows, they are the best behaved dogs we have ever had the pleasure of spending time with.  Their recall is excellent, and they’re not at all pushy when you want to direct them in to (or out of) areas of the house.  They were patient for a bit of grooming on their shorter hair, but just moved away if we took the brush near their longer hair or their head.  They were both great with being towelled off after muddy walks (Lando will think it’s a game and want to tug of war with the towel!). They are so funny when they’re playing tug of war with a toy; Lando would love a tug of war with one of us, then Maya would join in, and sometimes we’d drop the rope and leave them to it!  They are affectionate and if your face is at head level, you may well get a sloppy kiss from Lando.  I had lay down on the floor to stretch, and once he knew that my face wasn’t just there for his kisses, he just lay down right next to my head!  And when Paul was sat on the floor, Maya sat on his lap and chilled.  So adorable!

100% recommended sit, we would definitely return.
