Jonathan and Ashley took great care of our home and Tula. They kept I touch, kept our house in great shape, and reached out with any questions. I highly recommend them for any future sit!

Sue
We very much enjoyed our sit at Sue's lovely home with Molly and Dexter. The cats are very sweet and lovable.
Ancaster is a beautiful town near the Dundas Conservation Area with lots of trails for hiking and biking. The neighborhood is nice for walks and is very safe and there are plenty of shops nearby. Sue made us feel very welcomed and comfortable and she was easy to stay in touch with while traveling. We highly recommend sitting for Sue if you have the opportunity!

Howard
Howard and Laura are a lovely couple, who we would very happily sit for again. We enjoyed a wonderful family dinner the night before their trip, which was very much appreciated. Howard and Laura’s place is immaculate and in a great location to reach Stockport (within walking distance), or Manchester (a quick train ride).

The instructions for the house and Kimba’s routine were very clear and easy to follow. Kimba’s daily food was even measured out in bags for us, which made it even easier for us.

Kimba is a beautiful and happy girl who is very well behaved. Expect lots of people to stop you on your daily walk and ask you what breed she is and to tell you how gorgeous she is! We tended to walk Kimba later in the evening in a great nearby park as suggested by Howard, this allowed her to have the time of her life off-lead without other dogs nearby.

Overall we had a fantastic stay and would definitely sit again. Thank you for having us, Howard and Laura!

Alexandra
What a pleasure to look after Billie! Thank you Alexandra for trusting me with your beautiful baby and allowing me to stay in your stunning home.

The apartment is well situated, close to the tram and bus stops, and within walking distance of the museum quarter if you don't want to take the tram. Alexandra readied clean bedding and towels and the apartment was clean and tidy.

Billie is a pleasure to play, walk and cuddle with. She loves to play hide and seek and also enjoys taking walks. She must be on a lead when there are birds around as she loves chasing them. Billie loved meeting other dogs and their owners. If you love dogs Billie will become one of the doggies that you miss when you leave.

Roberta
In our opinion Costa Rica was the best place to be during the first few months of COVID-19. We arrived the end of February ‘20 for a five week pet sit and ended up staying for 3 months! Covid’19 played havoc on flights and getting in and out of countries, for Roberta and for us. Costa Rica, a country of over 5 million people, took it seriously; hence, their numbers of cases (less than 1,000) and deaths (10 per last count) was very low comparatively — which was very comforting. We enjoyed sitting for Roberts’s two goldens and two kitties — all four were very affectionate and loved being with you. We were able to get a taste of the real Costa Rica in San Isidro de El General which is further inland, not necessarily the touristy area. Her home is a small Tico home bordering a delightful river which the dogs enjoyed visiting, especially Bella. This sit would appeal to the more adventurous, nature-loving souls.

Dale & George
We had an excellent time at George & Dale’s homestead. It’s situated right next to town but you still get that “in the country” feeling. They were so nice and hospitable and we felt very comfortable there.

Sylvia
Sylvia and Gerald have been the absolute best hosts we could have asked for!

Gemma the collie is such an easy dog, we took her lots of different places and she was no trouble at all as she has great recall.
All she really wants is someone to play fetch with!

Sylvia and Gerald are such warm and hospitable people and they even let us stay some extra nights with them and took us out on their boat for our last day in Canada where we paddle boarded (with Gemma), bbq’d and watched the sunset.

Sylvia and Gerald’s house really is as beautiful as the photos and we had everything we could ever need - we loved sitting out on the terrace in the sunshine with Gemma.

Meeting Sylvia, Gerald and Gemma has been the highlight of our 4 week trip and we will cherish the memories made with them and would hope to see them again in the future!

If you are lucky enough to get the opportunity to do this sit then you will not regret it!!
