I loved my 3 week sit looking after little Huxley. It was so hard to say goodbye. Mark and Sarah are lovely, kind people and very thorough explaining everything and showing me around. They were also very responsive to my communication with them. The house is beautiful, tidy and spotlessly clean and felt like a peaceful, relaxing haven. I really enjoyed the countryside walks with Hux and will really miss him! He’s an absolutely cutie, great company and often made me giggle. I’d definitely sit for him again 😊
It was a pleasure to take care of Sharon's animals. First, Sharon is a lovely, kind, compassionate lady who never met an animal she couldn't love. She has rescued and trained these charming animals and clearly they are dear to her heart. They all have unique personalities that you can't help but fall in love with. It was my honor to be selected to care for Sharon's brood while she took a short trip. If ever you are asked, don't pass up an opportunity to hang out with this group - they'll keep you laughing. Each and every one is as sweet as can be.
We had a terrific 2 weeks with Sierra, the 'quiet talking' Schnoodle. She was a pleasure to spend time with...cuddly, good walker, and very congenial with all other dogs and humans alike! Terri and Mark own a beautiful and well organized home and were extremely pleasant and welcoming and opened their home to us. Location is perfect...a quiet gated community yet close enough to the beach and seasonal Ocean City 'action' if so desired. Clubhouse amenities were also a welcomed bonus. A highly recommended pet-sit that we're happy to fully endorse!
Steve and Penny could not have been more welcoming and generous on this housesit. They made us a lovely dinner and even took us to the supermarket. The house itself was charming and comfortable--to say nothing of its history. We enjoyed the house, the girls, and the surrounding area, including spectacular Wells. Cookie & Holly were sweet and playful spaniels. As Steve's review mentions, we cared for Holly immediately following an operation. When she developed complications, we immediately contacted Steve and the vet. Unfortunately, the vet did not believe (somewhat elderly) Holly's symptoms warranted an ambulance. Despite this, Steve and Penny were unbelievably understanding. We are so grateful to them and recommend them without hesitation.

Unfortunately with timings I didn’t get to meet Heather in person. But she left lovely fresh flowers in the house and some welcome gifts and went out of her way to get a few items in for me. Which was a lovely touch. The cats were well behaved and easy to look after. Quite timid but nice to see them become more comfortable as time went on. I didn’t have a car and found it a bit wearing to get to anywhere a 20 min walk each way. But is doable. Proceed with great caution when the deck is wet.
