I had such a lovely time sitting for Sandra. Cupi and Shanti are the sweetest cats with really distinct personalities that made them a joy to watch. They know their routine very well and make it easy! By the end of the sit I got lots of cuddles from both of them all the time. The apartment is beautiful and very clean, and the location is excellent, with grocery stores nearby and an easy walk to city center on a beautiful path next to the river. Communication with Sandra was very easy. I definitely recommend this sit and would love to come back!
Alice is an exceedingly generous and thoughtful host. Everything in the home is well organized. She has made a comprehensive handbook for sitters; and if that is not enough to persuade you, the dogs Chewy and Petey will steal your heart--well-behaved and easy care to boot. Her location in Beaverton is pleasant with open spaces, nearby parks, easy access to most anything you could need, walking or driving; with bus and met options as well. The wi-fi works fine; lots of tv style gadgets if that is your bent.
Irene and Marco could not have been more hospitable to me! The house/cat sit was during the beginning stages of the coronavirus outbreak and they had to cancel their holiday just a couple days before their trip. They graciously let me stay with them and cooked me meals, while I figured out what to do. The cats, Mila and Lapo, were adorable. Mila takes her time to warm up to you but Lapo was super friendly and welcoming. The house is beautiful, clean, and modern. The guest room is very comfortable and I slept well. It’s just at the base of the mountain so the views from the giant windows are wonderful. I was able to go on a hike to a nearby town through the forest. Another day I walked to Gruyères and took the train back. There’s a lot to explore in Bulle and the surrounding areas. After a week, I decided to book a flight back to the U.S. because travel bans were starting to be implemented. Marco took me to the train station in the early morning. I am extremely blessed to have met Irene and Marco. Their kindness to me during such an uncertain time will never be forgotten. They’re also super fun to hang out with! I highly recommend sitting for them!
I spent 5 days in Santa Fe with Mochi and Lilly. Two very cool, calm kitties. They are both super sweet and fun. Heather's home is lovely, situated close to everything and nestled in the pine trees. She was helpful and responsive when I had questions and also had a friend close by if I needed anything. Love her green thumb and home. It was perfect and worked out really well.
Jason and Carry have a beuatiful home situated in the forest near Port Orchard. Their home is very well organized and complete with detailed instructions. They gracioulsy hosted a dinner a few days prior to the sit and showed us around the property. Lily is a very happy older dog and not active. The two cats stayed mostly to themselves in the basement. The pets are easy to care for and the home is very comfortable.
