Dog Sitters in Mitchellville, MD

This was Kaitlyn's second sit for the guinea pigs and once again she did a wonderful job. Communication with Kaitlyn was excellent and she sent the most adorable photos of the piggies each day. I returned to a tidy house and happy pigs. Kaitlyn genuinely loves animals and I highly recommend her to other homeowners. She will always be welcome back any time she wishes.

Christine and her son Stefan stayed and cared for our 2 dogs, 2 cats, 6 chickens, home, and garden for a month while we were away. They did a beautiful job stepping in and caring for the space and animals as we would. Chris communicated the few unexpected incidents for quick resolution. We would welcome them back anytime!

I don’t know when Rebekah left my house but she was gone when I arrived home so I haven’t met her. The cat litter boxes were so full the cats had been forced to use rugs and the floor. The cat bowls were full of food which was consequently scattered and had to be thrown out as saliva all over it can cause disease if it’s left to be eaten up. There were several dead plants and the pots were bone dry. There was mail left in the mail box. The he pool had not been topped up with water so the filter had stopped and was clogged with debris. My pool service man had left a reminder on Tuesday to fill the pool but the level was below the tiles. My notes had obviously not been read. It was very hot in Central Florida this week but none of this should have happened with care. I don’t have 6 cats, I have 2. No dog to walk. I have pool and lawn service. I spent Mother’s Day washing floors and laundering rugs, watering gasping plants and dealing with the pool, all after after a very long day’s journey from South America.

I could not recommend Piper more. She was a truly wonderful sitter - incredibly conscientious, reliable, thoughtful, and above all super sweet and caring with both our dogs. I didn't worry for a moment while we were away, knowing that the pups were in such competent hands. Honestly... Piper was a gift. She's an exceptional sitter and a truly lovely person. We feel lucky to have connected with her.

Maryjo and Jon were great sitters! They took really good care of all of our pets and the house. They were communicative and reliable. We would welcome them back anytime!

Sabrina and Katrina were extremely professional throughout the entire housesitting process. We were pleased to receive one or two updates daily with photos of our boys at home and on walks, with their new packmate Shadow, who joined the ladies on this housesit. We appreciated that they were flexible with arrival and departure times so that we could leave and arrive home with peace of mind knowing that our dogs had been walked and fed on our travel days. Pranav was great! He was in town for a conference but always made sure that the dogs were walked, fed and taken care of no matter the time of day. He had great communication with us when necessary, sent some photos, and when we returned the house was clean and tidy. Would highly recommend him.

Maya was great! So glad she took extra great care of my home and dog.

Tina and Lillian were wonderful to have stay in our home and care for Ziggy. They were very communicative and shared great photos of their adventures with Ziggy. They took exceptional care of our home and we came back to a house that was just as clean and tidy as it was when we left for our trip. Ziggy was happy and at ease. Thank you!!

What to even say about Rebecca and James and their kids! These guys were AWESOME. I had a few applications for this sit and debated briefly whether to have just a single person come sit, versus the family, given it's a bit more work to get things ready for the whole house to be used -- but I definitely made the right decision. My sons and husband all commented how great they were - easy, practical, communicative. Our dog was super lucky to have so many doting fans. She got to go hiking and to the coast, in cars and on ferries. I'm pretty sure she has been bored since we got back. Rebecca's family made our departure and return super smooth. They put clean sheets on all the beds, left us delicious poppy seed muffins and a very clean house! Wonderful guests to have- we are so grateful and happy they drove across the country to make our place their home base for a week! We'd absolutely welcome them back!

Cassie has proven herself to be a truly zeewoi! She is super communicative, asked good questions that showed she was really paying attention and wanted to provide the best care for my animals and house. I came home to a super clean home and happy pets! Can’t beat that. She’s welcome back anytime.

Andrea, who is a lovely person and excellent communicator, expertly rose to the occassion of caring for our Schnauzer and three alpacas. All our family members (the animals) were well cared for and obviously loved on, and our home was clean and tidy upon our return. She sent a plethora of reassuring photos and texts throughout our absence. We look forward to having her farm sit for us again in the future!
