I really enjoyed this sit and would highly recommend. I met Deb and Faith the day before, was more than welcomed into their home, reviewed the instructions thoroughly, had some social time, and Faith immediately became my friend. Faith is a great dog, very active for a 10 year old Labrador, likes to play and is fantastic on her walks (e.g. doesn't pull and I let her determine the walk pattern/time each time). Home was very comfortable and bbq was very clean and worked great. Thank you Deb and Faith for this sit, hope to get to do it again.
We had the best time looking after Kizzy and Lexi at the amazing Oak Barn. Honestly it’s one of the most amazing sits we’ve done, such a unique property in the most peaceful setting where you feel right at home straight away. Amanda’s communication and welcome guide was perfect - super helpful and gave us such a good understanding of the house and routines of the dogs, not to mention being so kind and thoughtful throughout the process as well as hugely generous with some welcome gifts and food - genuinely touched by the hospitality. The dogs are two of the most lovely dogs you could look after. Super laidback and affectionate. Kizzy loves chasing tennis balls in the fields behind the house and was so well behaved and Lexi is a wise older dog who’s so gentle and happy and still loves a good walk. They instantly warmed to us and helped make us feel right at home. We were sad to say goodbye to these guys! Loads of great things to visit on the doorstep too including local farmshops, beaches, Folkestone, Dungeness and more. Can’t recommend this sit enough - we’re heading back in September for 2 weeks and cannot wait! Thanks again for having us guys, super grateful for such a warm welcome and the chance to do such an amazing sit - see you in September :) x
Nelly is a lovely cat, and it was a pleasure to look after her in Harringay. Having lived in the area before, it was really nice to be in an area that was already familiar to me, a bit nostalgic. Great flat and garden, everything you might need is here. Also only a short walk to Wood green high street, with a shopping centre, big Morrisons open til 10, and tube stations. Recommended sit ! Hope to see you again !
We had a lovely time in New Malden. Alison and Mark are a lovely couple and we enjoyed meeting them over a cup of tea and home made cake the day before we started the sit. They very generously put us up overnight and even left wine and chocolate. Gin and Tonic are the most affectionate cats and were sitting on our laps the minute we sat down! We really loved their company and we miss them! The house is very comfortable and spacious and in a great area. We were amazed how quiet it was, so close to London. There's a choice of several train stations, and it's easily accessible by public transport. Lots of shopping options nearby and nice parks too. Highly recommended. We would love to see Alison and Mark again if they ever make it to New Zealand!
We loved our stay with Pony! She was the sweetest cat and so much fun to play with. She would even fetch for treats! Vikki was very responsive with any questions we had and her home was very comfortable and welcoming. Her neighbors were also friendly and helpful. Her home was the perfect location and we would definitely love to sit for her again!
