Nanni was a pleasure to be in contact with in the lead up to the trip and flexible with her travels plans due to slightly awkward flight times on my side, which I really appreciated. I received daily updates of her adventures with Taiga and her adorable dog Max, she even got Taiga eating carrots (her new favourite thing!) Taiga came into season just before I left, which was unexpected and not ideal as it’s an added responsibility. Nanni had clearly read up about it to understand how best to look after T (her dog is a boy), which I was grateful for. She also took Taiga in a dog carrier with the bike that she hadn’t done before and was patient with her to get her comfortable with it. Max is a wonderful, calm dog, who was a great influence (and very patient) with Taiga who has just turned one. You can tell that Nanni is a true animal lover as she seemed to understand T’s behaviour and communication from the get go. When I came home I could tell that Taiga completely trusted Nanni and had had a wonderful time with her. That flat was lovely and clean to come home to and Nanni checked in with about the house plants whilst I was away as well. Thank you so much Nanni for taking such wonderful care of Taiga whilst I was away for a week. I’m so grateful she had such a wonderful week with you and I felt completely relaxed when I was away that she was in great hands! If you’re thinking of having Nanni as a house/pet sitter, go for it! She’s amazing!

We really enjoyed our long weekend in Tavistock with the adorable Zico, he’s such a charmer! The weather wasn’t great but we were able to do some lovely walks straight from the house and one on Dartmoor. Zico is a pleasure to take out as he is so well behaved. Rhino and Squirrel are the handsome chickens who follow you around the garden and I’m sure, given the opportunity would come inside the house! We only met Jon and Ollie but they made us very welcome. Hope to return sometime.

Ruth
I loved my stay with the gorgeous Tilly 🐶 she is such a joy to care for and hang out with. We enjoyed daily walks along the beautiful
Merri Creek, which is a few minutes walk from home. We enjoyed coffeeing, breakfast and brousing a local market with Tilly, all on our doorstep!
Ruth’s home is lovely and cosy and in the absolute perfect spot in Brunswick to be able to go for great walks and jump on the Nicholson St tram that goes into the city! Couldn’t have asked for a better location!
Thank you Ruth and Tilly, a great house sitting experience 😄

Laura
Laura was gracious and welcoming. Frank, beans, and chai were wonderful companions during my stay. Frank is the most outgoing of the three and would sit next to me on the couch. Chai took a little longer to warm up but would stay in the same room as me. Beans is the shyest. But all three are very sweet. Arlington is a wonderful area and I enjoyed my walks around the neighborhood. I would recommend this sit to anyone wanting to visit the Boston area!

Marion
We have sat for Marion twice now and have thoroughly enjoyed both of our stays. The house is stunning and has been beautifully restored by Marion and David. It's extremely comfortable with a great kitchen, comfy living areas and bedroom and amazing gardens. There's even a hot-tub and outdoor grill/pizza oven (on a warmer sit we will definitely indulge). The two lady labs Shadow and Skylar are absolutely beautiful. We had amazing walks on Dartmoor, along the river Dart and the coast path. Shadow is so well trained and can walk most of the time off-lead. Skylar is still young, so we walked with her on the lead but let her off when we were in a secure space. She really loves to run (especially on the beach) and has the speed of a greyhound, but her recall is really good. They are both excellent travellers in the car, so we could pretty much take them anywhere. We mustn't forget the Jack Russel, Hazel. She's a little older so only needs a short walk, which she enjoys and then she loves to cuddle on the sofa in the evening, she really is adorable. Stoke Fleming is a great spot with the coast right there and great walking opportunities right from the door. I can't recommend this sit enough and we hope to sit for Marion and David again.
