Fiza, tony, hopper, and Serena were great hosts. I was prepared well for all the ins and outs of the house and caring for the furry friends. Cute place in a great walkable neighborhood in Charleston. Hopper is a friendly youngster and Serena lives up to her serene name. I loved my stay here over the weekend.
Meeting Michael and Marianne was so wonderful! I was a little concerned at first about taking care of 4 big dogs, but Michael and Marianne generously offered to let my 2 friends accompany me for the sit. After the first day, it was very apparent to me how well behaved the "girls" were, (the dogs...and my friends too, LOL!) and I know it would not have been an issue to care for them by myself! Amazingly well trained! They were a joy to be around! And the house was so very comfortable!! The area, especially Wexford and Waterford were lovely to visit and I so want to come again to see more! Thank you Marianne and Michael for sharing your little piece of the world with us! Blessings to all! X
Bailey is fantastic. It was a great pleasure to spend time with him. One of the smartest dog I ever had meet. Really kind and obedient. He will always be with you, and at the same time give you a lot of space. He spends most of his time just sleeping and relaxing, but is always very happy to go for a walk. The only thing that is probably worth noting is that he is quite a large and definitely strong dog, and you need to be strong enough during a walk to hold him in some unforeseen situation. I would like to give advice from my side that worked very well with him. When I saw that some other large dog was approaching, or some wild animals, like squirrels (I would like to add that I actually rarely met such kind of problem with him, but), really helps to shift his focus to some kind of snack that you will hold in your other hand, and he most likely will not even pay attention to the other dog, for which he will be rewarded with a treat and praised. In fact, hanging out with Bailey is a great pleasure. He gives very good feedback. Great location, very good neighborhood, very close to the lake. The house is beautiful and has an office and home gym. Everything that you can need. And last but not least, I want to add that Jean and his family were really kind, friendly and helpful to me. They welcomed me very well into their home, were always in touch and pleasant to talk to, and provided very good living conditions🙂
