I was able to spend a few wonderful days with Schubert. Schubert is lovely: very well behaved, very sweet and always ready to cuddle or play. You can take him to Holland Park and let him run free. In the evenings I really enjoyed the long walks with him through the beautiful Notting Hill neighbourhood. The communication with Paul was uncomplicated and pleasant. Paul dealt with any questions I had straight away. Thank you very much! I miss Schubert and would love to come back!
We had a wonderful time sitting Ruby! She's such a sweet, funny little dog who loved cuddling on our laps whenever we sat down. Tania and Christopher were absolutely lovely, Tania made a delicious pasta our first night and it was great getting to know them - they've both led such interesting lives! The area is absolutely beautiful and we had some wonderful food. We'd happily sit for them again anytime!
We spent a few days taking care of Halley in Barcelona. Halley is a fairly independent kitten but she knows her eating schedules very well, so she comes to ask you to feed her. The house has an excellent view of the city, and lots of lighting, so we were very comfortable. Craig and Neus are excellent hosts. They welcomed us with delicious freshly baked bread :). Our stay was very good, and we hope to meet again.
I had a fantastic time looking after both Levi and Dave. They are the most entertaining cats I've ever had the pleasure to look after. They loved playing with each other but also cosying up to one another in the afternoon when Emma's place catches some sun rays. They both liked to be near me and made me feel super welcome. They even stayed in the same room as where I was working in. Emma's place is nicely located, not too far away from the hustle and bustle which is nice as you are guaranteed a good night sleep. It had a rooftop pool and gym which was super handy. It's also walking distance to a supermarket and a short taxi ride to JBR where you will find everything. Thank you Emma for being accommodating and for choosing me to look after your home and lovely pet kids. I enjoyed my time. Will sit again!
Annabelle and Neil were warm and welcoming and I was lucky enough to meet them and their son before the sit. They took the time to give me the perfect measure of tips and information for the sit. Annabelle's artistic talent makes the home a lovely place to relax in too :) Nellie is the most wonderful character. She can sniff out abandoned balls from miles away I'm sure! She is bouncy, ball-obsessed and a bundle of energy and fun. Equally appealing is her calmness, patience and ability to communicate her needs (usually it's food or ball play!) She is clearly well trained and was no trouble around other dogs or horses who passed close to her during our walks or runs. It was also lovely to meet fellow dog owners from the village - and Nellie's doggy friends. The chickens made me smile - following me around the garden - and providing delicious eggs each day. They were easy to care for. All in all a wonderful house sit - thank you Annabelle and Neil!
We had a lovely sit in the stunning house and location. The stars of the show were the pets; Betty & Cosmo were easy and loving dogs to look after ruled over (as we all were) by the majestic Mimi, a beautiful cat. Martin & Janet were very welcoming and I would recommend this sit to anyone. Hope to see you all again.
