If you're reading this review, it's probably because Graciela and Nicholas have applied to stay at your home. If you learn nothing else from this review, please understand that you should choose them, no questions asked. We spoke with Graciela and Nicholas about watching our home, and more importantly our senior dog, Rizzo, a few months before a weekend trip out of town. We were initially impressed by their questions and how easy it was to arrange a Zoom meeting to get to know them. Unfortunately for us, Rizzo started having seizures about two weeks before their stay and was diagnosed with a brain tumor the very week they were going to stay and watch him. The diagnosis complicated Rizzo's care and added several steps to his day, including us learning how to administer anti-seizure medication nasally. We advised Graciela and Nicholas about the new issues and offered to cancel our trip and make other arrangements given our new situation, and we were prepared to pull the plug on our trip. Rather than back out, Graciela and Nicholas went above and beyond to help out, and they've been the best experience we've had on this website. They agreed to a Zoom call before the stay for the specific purpose of learning how to administer the new anti-seizure medications. They sent us lots of updates on Rizzo, which we much appreciated. They left our home cleaner than they found it. Needless to say, we knew we were in great hands the entire time we were out of town, which we much appreciated given the recent news about our dog. We really can't thank them enough for giving us the peace of mind we needed to make our out-of-town trip. So, to sum it up: they were perfect housesitters, and we couldn't have asked for anything more. If you've read this far and are considering choosing them for your housesit, do so without hesitation. Thank you SO MUCH again, Graciela and Nicholas!

Charlotte
Charlotte and her family are very welcoming and friendly. Charlotte also responded quickly to any questions we had. Their home is spacious and quiet. Linkebeek has all the amenities you need, and by train Brussels is within 10 minutes reach.
Inca and Indigo are two amazing dogs, who love to roam through the forest. They keep an eye on you when walking off leash and never wandered off too far. We loved our time with Inca en Indigo, loved our stay in Linkebeek and are very happy that we met Charlotte and her family. We definitely would like to come back for another housesit!

Lama
Lama was a super lovely host and my stay with her very loved Bella was wonderful! A very gentle, sweet and easy dog to care for with many quirks and cuddles to make you smile! It really doesn’t take long for you to develop a soft spot for Miss Bella, I will miss her!
Lama’s home is clean, cute and has everything you need for a comfortable, enjoyable stay plus it’s a great location just a little outside the main Amsterdam city centre, with plenty of parks and shops to choose from for exploring. Lama made sure I had everything for my sit and kept in contact whilst she was away. Great communication. Very helpful and kind. And is an amazing baker/cook too! You may learn a trick or two if you’re lucky otherwise her cool collection of books definitely will!
Highly recommend the chance to stay here and care for Bella! Thank you Lama and Bella!

Nikki
What a great house sit it was with Storme and Rocky. Delightful dogs with great personalities. Nikki was warm and very hospitable. Our accommodation was most comfortable, and Nikki's home was warm and inviting. We loved our time in Selsey. Our walks were so enjoyable along the beaches. Would highly recommend as a house sit. Thank you for our most enjoyable stay.

Dana
Sitting for Caspian and Zulu was a pleasure and communicating with Dana and Miles easy. The handover was seamless and all went well with giving Caspian his meds. He is truly a gentle giant, I have never had a pet take meds so willingly! Our walks were fabulous, despite the rain, the nearby trails are excellent with spectacular scenery. Caspian is a gentleman to all passers-by; human or animal. Zulu did not "come out of hiding" till the second day, but when she did she was very lovable and gently asked for a little attention. Both animals a real joy. Dana and Miles' home is lovely and very comfortable. Would recommend this sit to anyone looking for a slice of Alaska life with good company.

Jean
The Darling Duo! What sweet babies. They both love their wand toy; Nariz will let you know when it’s time by standing near the cabinet and meowing, (I’d play with her at both ends of the day to burn off her energy, she is so fun and an expert leaped!). Tux is a lover not a hunter; she loves chasing it but didn’t know what to do once she ‘caught’ it 😂She is great at jumping high on her cat tree & balancing. Both kitties are very easy to care for and are just the sweetest. Tux has the silkiest fur I’ve ever felt, and loved to sit on my chest in mornings, while Nariz was a lap kitty in the evenings. Both are little dainty cuties, & I miss them!

Jean & Scott’s house is beautiful and clean, and the casita is inspiring with the beautiful artwork. The steam room is dreamy! The garden is tranquil and I was so grateful to have been able to enjoy the abundance.

The neighborhood is safe, fun, extremely walkable. Neighbours are quiet too..important to me but hard to tell until you’re at a sit! Jean left a comprehensive binder with all info needed, and was always very quick in replying to any questions I had. Very generous and kind humans!!

I loved my stay here, and hope to return one day.

Erin
I had a great sit at Erin's home in Ashland. Her house is cozy, has a well-stocked kitchen and was decorated for the holidays, which was really nice for me. Simba and I got along well and I enjoyed watching him. He does go outside for much of the day but purred for pets when he came in. He'll let you know when he wants attention and he did snuggle up with me for several nights. He is easy to care for, pretty chill, and will chase a few toys.
Erin was great to communicate with - checking in and accessible for any questions and she's friendly and open. For those not familiar with Ashland, Erin's home is in a central location (one of the reasons I was very interested in this sit) and you can walk to town, parks etc. I would definitely recommend this sit to anyone!
