Felipe and I loved the role experience! Mack and Alma were the best dogs. They are such a great company and just want your love really.
The town is nice and the house has everything you need with a great garden :)

Stephanie
We had a great time at Stefanie and Jay's place. They were so welcoming, we immediately felt at home, even though we arrived an hour before they left. We had time to walk around the area, and they showed us everything, explaining Arthur's routine. The neighborhood is nice, with markets, restaurants, and bars nearby, as well as plenty of parks and green spaces. The building is new and pleasant, with a communal garden where we could take Arthur for a quick walk and play with him. The house itself is comfortable and has a lovely balcony where we could catch some sun. Arthur is a well-trained dog, he obeys all commands and is calm and sweet when needed. I highly recommend this stay! Thanks again!

MJ
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hoylake. It was lovely to meet MJ and Ed, and then to spend time with Big Cheese, Prune, Little Cheese and Pasty Boo. The cats were easy to look after and very entertaining, with all their quirks and big personalities. The flat was a fabulous place to stay - comfortable and modern, with the most amazing views. We had some walks on the huuuuge beach, and also cycled around the area. It seems a lovely place to live and we're so pleased we had the opportunity to visit for a few days.
Thank you MJ, Ed and the fabulous four.

Chris and Barbara
This was our first house/pet sit since joining Trusted Housesitters. We thoroughly enjoyed looking after Lottie, a 2 year old Newfound-land dog with a sweet nature and Bertie their affectionate cat, in their large and lovely home and garden in a very handy central Edinburgh location. Communication with Chris and Barbara was excellent and we were able to visit them before the sit to go over some of the details in their comprehensive welcome guide. It was a pleasure to walk Lottie in various nearby parks and open spaces where she attracted much interest and admiration from passersby. Bertie liked to keep his distance from Lottie but enjoyed a cuddle on our knees whenever possible. Chris and Barbara generously made their car available which was much appreciated. We found Chris and Barbara to be open, helpful and friendly hosts and Lottie and Bertie a pleasure to care for.

Where to begin with Nipsey!?

I stayed over the night before the scheduled sit, and was welcomed by Ellen and her partner! They gave me a tour, time to decompress and get comfortable, made a yummy dinner, and we chatted throughout. It was nice getting to know them and Nipsey, and the interaction made the transition seamless.

NIPSEY! Nipsey is playful, and cute, and loves to be around you, but not on top of you. Most times Nipsey hung out in the same areas as I, while others he napped in his area, or enjoyed the scratch post.

He has a simple regimen, so feeding and playtime ran like clockwork. But he’s also quite independent, so when he needs or wants something (including your attention), he’s vocal enough to express this.

They are located minutes walking from the main train station, and another smaller one, making it easy for day trips to cities nearby. The tram is even closer, so if walking isn’t your cup of tea, hop on for a quick trip to Old Nice, the main shopping area, or closer access to the beach. If walking, the beach is maybe 15 minutes away by foot (plus or minus depending on your speed), and even shorter to Avenue Jean Médecin. There are daily open air markets, grocery stores, delicious bakeries, restaurants around every corner, so never at a loss for what you desire.

I highly recommend sitting for Ellen! Nipsey is so adorable, funny, and easy going. Just follow the safety precautions provided during the tour, and it will be a smooth sailing sit. 🥰

This sit was fan-freaking-tastic. Great house, wonderful pets. I’ve been working on a book and this was ideal for me: super comfortable/beautiful, quiet, remote, peaceful. I loved walking in the Carson National Forest with Bella and Oteil, who are well-trained and well-behaved. We made friends fast and I loved spending time with them. If you come Nov-March bring snow boots and a 4wd car. Taos is an amazing historical town with a rich history and Indigenous culture. Plenty to do if you like. Cooking in Leslie’s kitchen is a dream. And communication with her was fun and friendly. The Wilsons are kind and generous hosts.
