Tammy and Chris greeted me with enthusiasm and introduced me to the cat (Skye) and the GIANT Schnauzer (Zeus). Their home is on a beautiful lane in a hamlet of friendly people and gorgeous surroundings. The walks in the vineyard and the footpaths were magical. The house was comfortable and user-friendly, and neighbours were there to help if needed. Using WhatsApp was a good way to communicate with each other. Zeus is a sweetie and well-mannered, but the lengthy required 2-daily walks were a challenge for me - but oh, what beautiful walks they were. I thank them for inviting me on this sit.
Franceska & John are really lovely people who welcomed us into their home with open arms. They did a thorough handover before they left and ensured we had everything we needed and were comfortable before their departure. Their home - beautifully converted stables - was incredibly comfortable with stunning country views and private woods. Any supplies we needed were a short drive away in the local town. The cats were great company. Each such an individual character and very friendly. Sox is a sweetheart who snuggled up on the sofa with us at every opportunity and squawked for extra food. Chooey is a sweet boy who spends a lot of time outdoors but always came over for attention when we were around. Mistos is a rescue cat so was a little stand offish at first. He liked his own space but the more he got used to us the friendlier he became. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this sit in a stunning part of the country with three characterful cats!
We loved our stay with Juni! He is the sweetest dog and super easy to sit. Ruth Ann and Matt’s home is wonderful. Very cozy and comfortable inside, lovely outdoor space, close to nature and to town. They were fantastic hosts. We would love to sit Juni again and again. :)
