Pet sitting has offered us some wonderful experiences and taking over the servitude of Dan for Susan and David was amongst the best we have had. Susan and David are so warm and generous and our stay with them prior to our sit gave us memories we will cherish for a lifetime. Dan is just one of those cats that exude intelligence and personality. He is very low maintenance and is an absolute joy to look after. He would disappear for hours on end out on his adventures and then then sit on our lap of an evening and tell us all about it while we all watched the sun set over the olive groves. We would have no hesitation to sit Dan again and truly hope to maintain a long distance friendship with Susan and David.
What a pleasure it was to do this sit! Kirsten and Steve were so welcoming and great with communicating all the details as well as quick to get back to me any time I had a question. The house is very comfortable, and the location is stunning with plenty of seating areas on the deck or down below to enjoy the beautiful vineyard and mountain views - not to mention right inside from the kitchen or living room. As far as caring for Kadie and Charlie, they were an absolute dream and wonderful company! Kadie quickly becomes your best friend and is eager to please, happy to soak up attention, sit in your lap, or go on any new adventure around the property at any time you might want. Charlie is very special, as he is blind and deaf, and yet he is amazing at getting around and communicating whatever he needs. He’s very quiet and sweet and also happy to go on walks as soon as you encourage him along with tiny treats. At the same time, whenever I wanted to sit and read quietly, they were both more than happy to relax somewhere nearby or take a nice sunbath on the deck. I never met Bonnie and Clyde, the feral cats, face to face, but it was fun putting out food and fresh water for them and going back to find it had been well appreciated. This was a truly delightful sit in every way, and I would gladly sit for Kirsten and Steve again any time!
Kim was an amazing host and made me feel right at home, super accomodating and welcome for me to explore Coimbra (beautiful city full of life). Yeti was such a sweatheart and was a pleasure to take of, we bonded so fast and hung out, took walks and napped together. I totally recommend Kim as a host and going to miss spending time with Yeti (such a sweet boy) 10/10
Couldn't recommend Andy, Megan (and Sadie) enough! They were so easy to communicate with, provided a great welcome guide and made our stay extremely enjoyable from the very beginning. Their flat is well-located on a cute street in Walworth, very easily accessible to central London. Sadie absolutely stole our hearts! She is an energetic golden with loads of personality and is just a total sweetheart. We had such a great time with her and absolutely hated having to say goodbye. We miss her already!
Kay and Ginger are absolutely wonderful! So easy-going, friendly and welcoming -- they are the perfect pair. I had such a lovely time chatting with Kay before she left for her trip (she felt like an old friend immediately!), and Ginger was so easy to care for! We went for plenty of walks, which she loved, and I felt so comfortable staying with her in Kay's beautiful home. There is easy access to hiking trails, and I was also able to go for a run around the neighborhood no problem. Sitting out in Kay's cozy backyard with Ginger in the evening was the best. This sit was truly one of the highlights of my month-long trip out west, and I really hope I get the chance to see Kay and Ginger again in the future!!!
This was a great sit! Fanny and her kids are so nice and were very welcoming and Kitty is so sweet and cuddly. Just take a sit on the sofa and she will come to lay her head on your lap! Very easy to take care of and offers a lot of love in return. The apartment is so nice as well, very confy and clean and with a great view. I enjoyed living in a residential area with mostly Singaporeans, you get a more authentic feeling about the country. I loved the the pool area of the condo! It conveys a relaxing holiday feeling ,as it includes a few pools, surrounded by exotic plants. Way better than many 5 star holiday resorts! The reservoir is great for runs or walks, and there is very close by another green strip. Bus station is downstairs, MRT close by, so you can get to touristy areas easily as well, but there are groceries and restaurants and all you need very close by. 3 minutes walking only. Just a few stations away there are also malls, as well with a very local authentic vibe, which translates also in good cheap food. The closest food court is very nice and enough, but for a change you can also check out Bedok 85 Market or Blk 216 Bedok Food Centre or Tampines mall. I recommend this sit 100% and would love to come back as well! Thank you!
