We arrived at Greg and Caroline’s property only to be greeted by two very friendly dogs. Greg and Caroline made us feel very welcome to their lovely home which has beautiful, relaxing views of the country side from a very large deck. The dogs and two goats would walk with us through the bush each day.😊 Feeding the hens which gave delicious eggs and feeding a horse added to the delight. Thank you Greg and Caroline. This was a Great petsit! Wendy and Karen live just outside Elletsville and it's about a 20 minute drive to Bloomington. They invited me to come the day before to meet and go over info. They have a very thorough welcome booklet printed up, they showed me around and they have been great in communicating before and during the sit. They're very nice, friendly and it was a pleasure to meet and communicate with them. Rojo and Elfo are five and sweet, timid kitties. They didn't come out from under a bed until 1 1/2 days after (Wendy had warned me of this) and slowly came around and we got in our groove. Rojo loves to play with toys, especially in the mornings, and Elfo's favorite thing is to be brushed, and brushed and brushed. They're easy to care for and very sweet. Note that they are indoor kitties, but are not door darters ;) Wendy and Karen's home was a nice private retreat. They're on 3 acres with nice yard in front and woods on the north and east sides. It's a very comfortable home, clean, cheerful and I felt very much at ease there. The house, their personalities and communication and both kitties made this a great sit and one I would highly recommend!
What a nice sit! Comfortable, cozy, clean, organized and above all, the sweetest dog ever. Wewe is great fun, great company and very easy to care for. She's one of those dogs that just makes you feel good to be with, your best bud from the moment you arrive and happy to play, cuddle or just hang out when you're home, but does fine when you go out. For some reason, she was not interested in going for very long walks while I was there, but she negotiated easily and we worked it out without any trouble. It was very nice to have the back yard space for potty breaks at anytime. Very easy parking, nice little street, great location for me.
