Jose was a wonderful sitter to my 2 dogs and cat! Everyone was happy and well cared for during his week stay. I have a very old dog with medical issues and he handled it with no problem. He’s extremely self sufficient and responds to text quickly if you need him while away. Thanks Jose!
I had a fantastic time at Wendy's home near Henley-in-Arden! Titch is an absolutely delightful cat to look after, very friendly and loves to play and cuddle with humans. The routine for him and the koi is easy - attention, lap time and of course food for Titch, and food + checking on water quality for the koi (also very fun to watch them swimming around) - allowing time for walks, bus trips and bike rides in the beautiful local area, as well as spending time in the garden. Wendy was very communicative and responsive when I had questions, and she & Mark welcomed me warmly when I arrived, leaving maps, route recommendations and lots of info about the house so I never felt lost in their high-tech home! They left plenty of space for my clothes and food, and even took me to the supermarket before they left which was much appreciated. You can also get groceries delivered from various supermarkets, which is really useful if you don't have a car. There were a few mishaps in the final week of the sit, including Titch sustaining an injury which required a vet visit and daily medication, but Wendy kept in close contact to support with everything (and Titch took his medication very calmly!) Such a great housesit; highly recommended if you enjoy cat company and calm rural areas with amenities fairly close by.
A delightful couple of days with the lovely Ollie cat in a sweet cottage style home. Brenda was very welcoming and instructions were clear and detailed. Easy access to London central and to local shops. Highly recommend this sit. Thanks!
Had a great time with the very sweet doggy duo of Duke and Milo, and the cool cats, Buddy, Rainy, and the mysterious elder statesman, Momo. All of them were absolute sweethearts, just like their owner, Rhonda. Each has a very distinct personality, and it was fun getting to know them, and observing the dynamic. It certainly doesn’t hurt that it was in such a beautiful setting, right on the water, under some tall evergreens. An eagle rested in one of them for a bit, and watching it from the big living room window was amazing. I spent a lot of time just sitting outside with the dogs, looking at the water, and feeling the breeze cool off those couple of hot days we had. Marvelous! Rhonda was very easy to communicate with, and very hospitable. She’s big into gardening, and the flowers were all in bloom, and just gorgeous. She offered me vegetables from her garden, too! Super sweet lady. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there, and would absolutely sit for her again.
Kelsie and Nick were super friendly. Their place was amazing. We had a beautiful weekend with Socks, Willow and Patches. Patches is a super cute dog who will love to be with you, he loves to be cuddled and will definitely enjoy the walks. He is very well behaved! Willow is the shy member of the family. She was hidden most of the time, but on the third day she started to come close to us. Socks will let you caress him, and he likes to go outside but when you call him he will be back soon! Thanks again for everything Kelsie, we had a beautiful stay with your pets!
I had a wonderful week looking after all the animals and plants at Steve and Nicky's place. The house and land is just stunning and Steve and Nicky welcomed me warmly on my arrival. The morning and evening 'chores' were well set out by Steve and consisted of checking that all the animals were fed and watered, walking the dogs in their own woodland, and watering the polytunnels and raised beds. This took about an hour in the morning and 1.5 hours in the evening, and I loved playing the Good Life, if only for a week. Communications with Steve were excellent both before and during the house sit which made it easy to resolve any questions that I had which as a house sitter is much better for me that trying to second guess what a house owner would want you to do. Many thanks for giving me an opportunity to extend the summer - my adult daughter who joined me for a couple of days also loved everything about the house, the tranquillity, the pool and especially the dogs.
Andrea & Scott are very kind people and their home is gorgeous. The pups were all very sweet and love to hang out with you! If you leave your room door open at night, they'll be sure to share the bed with you, which I loved! This was a great stay
