When we got an application from Geethu and George we got overjoyed; they clearly read the whole listing, and they had many all excellent reviews, talking about how they send frequent updates/pictures, and how they left the hosts’ homes spotless, they also just sparked us with a sense of trust! Now, I’d like to mention that Geethu was busy, and only George came to sit for us, and maybe this review would be like the rest if they were both available.. We welcomed George the day before we left, just to make sure everything would be nice and clear, and asked him to please send us lots of updates before our departure. Unlike previous hosts stated, we received no updates (unless we texted him worried), came home to an overall tidy house but with areas of it left pretty dirty. Worst of all, our cat’s litter clearly hasn’t been cleaned (enough?) while we were away.. it wasn’t just abit dirty, but we came back to 💩s with MOLD growing on them. It was shocking.. Let’s just say that we’re pretty disappointed, and feel like our age (we’re in our 20’s) might have given the wrong idea about us. On the bright side, George seemed like a nice guy, and our cats were in a good mood when we got home. Hopefully our experience was an isolated event, and the next people who will pick them as sitters won’t have any regrets.
