We spent a quiet and peaceful 9 days over Christmas in Sophie & Trevor's very comfortable, clean and tidy home situated in the Surrey Hills. Communications with Sophie were always very prompt and informative, followed by very clear and welcoming instructions when we arrived. Caring for Poppy was very straight forward. She is a quiet independent soul. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend this house-sit. Thank you Sophie & Trevor.
Elaine and Gary were welcoming and pleasant to deal with. Their Dog Ellie was a delight, very polite, cuddly and sweet. My stay was absolutely wonderful, it was like staying in a little hidden resort.
The home is gorgeous and the pets are the sweetest. So much so that if we could copy and paste another Bentley and Luna as our own we would. Albus and Rubeus were super cute and unique too. Thanks for the stay!
We throughly enjoyed our sit with Ruby and Poppy at Clint and Holly’s lovely home. Clint’s communication was great and the video he sent ahead of time was super helpful. Their home is beautifully decorated and very inviting. The well appointed pool house where we stayed is awesome and there are many places to walk the dogs and stop for food/drinks in the Hillsboro area. The weather didn’t fully cooperate, but when it was dry we enjoyed hanging out in the pool area and cooking out. The dogs were our constant companions and we loved their energy and company. This is a great sit and we highly recommend it! We would love to sit for them again.
Frank was an absolute gem! He’s got such an adventurous, loving soul I adored this little one beyond belief. He is curious and incredibly athletic so tiring him out with the wand is major key. He explores his castle freely and chills in the sun most of the day. At night he’ll run back and forth in the hallway a bit, but will be ready and purring for morning cuddles (: Jessica and her husband had just moved to the states before my sit and they did the most to make the place comfortable for me before they even got the chance to stay in it. The library and the deck was an absolute dream for a nerdy, founder wannabe. No matter what book you pick up the most important pieces are underlined and stared making this sit rich with education. The area was safe and approved by my parents (which is huge). And there is absolutely nothing like watching the moon in this home. Christina’s home was very comfortable and well equipped, featuring her amazing paintings and lovely items from her travels. And Daisy was a mischievous delight to be around! She loves to run and play, and Christina has multiple toys and balls to encourage and spur on all of Daisy’s cuteness. Christina’s home is in a quiet residential area of the city that is near the beach. Yet it also has great public transport access to everything that San Francisco has to offer, with multiple bus routes within 2-3 blocks away. And Christina herself could not have been a nicer nor more thoughtful host. Thanks so much Christina — I hope you are feeling better soon, and I would love to have the chance to return to housesit for you again someday!
