When you want a place to have peace of mind when you need to borded your fur babies. Look no further than Cheryl's Kitty B & B. We had Laurie & she was awesome! Best experience & will only bord there from now on. Thank you for taking best care our fur babies♥️🫶 …
Loved our experience with Cheryl's Kitty B&B. They have two locations and our cat was housed at Laurie's house for the time. They were helpful with allowing us to get our cat in, even with a busy schedule. They kept us updated on her care and sent pictures via email and text. Super professional throughout the entire experience of booking, drop-off, and pick-up. Highly recommend their services and cannot wait to have our cat stay with them again!
Cheryl is a lovely person. She loves her job. I felt very comfortable leaving my two cats with her while away on vacation for 10 days.
My cat recently stayed with Cheryl while I was on vacation for two weeks; Cheryl is a lovely human being who has a true love for cats and what she does. She has several rooms in her home dedicated to each client. The space that my cat stayed in was spacious with two windows for bird viewing and such. She was very patient with him who warmed up to her pretty quickly! Cheryl was also kind enough to send me several text updates with pictures of my cat while I was away. I felt completely at ease once I met Cheryl and knew that she would take very good care of him during his stay. I will definitely use her services again in the future and recommend her to anyone else looking for quality care when boarding their cat!
Leave our cat who is extremely clingy with us. Cheryl and Laurie are life savers. The cat condos look more comfortable than some of the hotels we stay on our trips!
Laurie and Cheryl are the best! They went above and beyond from accommodating a last minute request to the excellent care my cats were provided. I would give 10 stars if I could. Thank you for everything!
I have known Cheryl for years and she has always given the best care to my cats. Whenever I travel I know they are in the best care and in a comfortable room instead of a cold cage at a vet’s office. With all her medical knowledge, I know if there ever happened to be a problem, she would take necessary steps to make sure they were healthy. I would, and have, recommend Cheryl’s Kitty B&B!!
These women are the best. I don't trust anyone else, outside of family, to watch my cats. Their rates are very reasonable, perhaps even cheaper than other local boarding services, and they will absolutely spoil your cat. They are extremely attentive and will text you updates as often as you want. Can't recommend them enough!
I don't think anyone can take care of your kitties in such a professional and loving way as Cheryl. She methodically takes all of their information and posts in a notebook. She knows what they like, when they like to eat, any medical conditions, etc. She takes no animal without seeing that they have all their shots up to date. She visits each cat daily and even has a meal at times with them in their rooms. While we travel, she daily texts me photos and messages about our cats well being. I would not be comfortable having my girls cared for by anyone else.
Cheryl's Kitty B&B is by far the best, absolute best place you could ever take your precious kitties. She is truly a feline godsend. Her dedication to all of the kitties health under her care matches that of any kitty parent. She truly looks after them as if they were her own. I'm moving and know I wont find anywhere near as good as a replacement as her for my kitties when I have to leave home for whatever reason. Squirmy & Jolie will miss her extremely! She's been a great friend as well!
At first I was really hesitant about boarding my small dog but I wouldn’t hesitate to use Foster Family again. If I had to leave my dog, I liked the idea of him being in a house and not kenneled for hours. At first, we did a meet and greet with their dog and family. During boarding, I was sent daily text updates and their little girl seemed to adore him. Teddy seemed comfortable in his home away from home. Communication through the process was timely too. Thank you for an easy process and a great stay!! 😍 Some photos of Teddy from his stay.
We were having great difficulty securing help to watch our two dogs (four legged children) prior to departing for a family wedding out of state. We found either our friends and family were attending the wedding or their living situations had changed where in the past it was doable to care for our dogs, and now, it is not. I finally had found a distant relative to care for our dogs a few weeks before we were to leave. However, it fell through due to a medical issue. I was panic mode. Our vet, our rescue group (who adopted our dogs to us), our close friends and family gave us recommendations for pet care while we were to be gone. All and I reapeat all recommended kennel situations they had used for their own dogs. Not only was I shocked, but I was horrified! So, I looked up dog sitters online. The first one I found was the Foster Family. Their website looked too good to be true. I contacted them anyway. I asked pertinent questions. They answered all my questions well, and I had hoped honestly. (Due to many of life's experiences, I am not one who trusts others easily.) We made an appointment for a meet and greet. When I left their home with my dogs, my anxiety and depression which had built up knowing we had to leave our dogs behind dissipated. Not only that I had total peace. When I returned to the Fosters to drop off my dogs to leave for 3 full days and 4 nights, my dogs willingly and happily ran (not walked but ran) into their house. They were fine as I left. I anticipated my Cocker Spaniel was going to cry and howl. I had prepared Eric and Alicia for this most likely possibility. Totally out of character for him, he did not cry nor howl with sadness which is remarkable. This time, I left all with complete peace and joy! As per the Fosters' website, I did receive daily photos and texts while we were away. Our boys looked like they do when they are happy and chill at home. When I picked them up they were happy to see me in a calm, normal manner. As dog parents, you know the difference when they are happy and well, or when they are happy with anxiety relief (like after a painful or stressful vet visit). My dogs actions and behaviors throughout this entire process affected me with deep peace and genuine trust for the Fosters. (Note:We all know people who look kind and are incredible actors. I am always uneasy with "strangers" no matter how genuinely positive all seems. Unfortunately, I have had such experiences with negative outcomes.) Eric and Alicia Foster are genuinely who they say they are. In fact, what they share on their website is humble. I feel blessed to have met them and the rest of their sweet family. I will not hesitate to call them again to sit for my dogs. I know this sounds selfish, but I debated about how much I would share about them in my review as I know if they get too well known, they will get too busy for my future bookings. However, they deserve to be fully recognized with full transparency for the genuine TLC for the pet family members they are entrusted to sit.
The Foster’s took amazing care of my two dogs while I was out of town. I was nervous at first because they can be a handful most of the time. But Eric and Alicia made me feel comfortable with picture updates to let me know they were doing well. They provided plenty of exercise for them and when I returned they were so tired out they slept the rest of the day! I highly recommend Foster Family Dog Care and will be using them again in the future.
What can I say except THANK YOU! We have struggled to find a place...a family...willing to treat our little Cocoa like she was their own. We can't say enough how fortunate we are to have found Eric and Alicia. Even their beautiful little daughter loved her and was happy to see her! We felt relieved knowing she was being well cared for all weekend, free to be anywhere in and out of the house (fenced back yard), etc. They took her for walks, sent us pictures, and made adjustments to accommodate our schedule. We are so thankful, and we'll certainly ask them to care for our Cocoa again!!
Loving home to send your dog babies to! Picture updates to know they’re safe and a big, fenced in yard for them to have fun and run around in while you’re away.
Terrific dog daycare! My dog gets so excited as we pull up to the building. They have many spaces outside and inside, and can accommodate different sizes, levels of activity, and the staff is so attentive. I just love taking my dog there. Oh! They also have a live stream of each separate room/space so you can check in! The best!
Emily and her team have been great with our pup, Bear, as he adjusts to getting time a doggy day care. We’ve appreciated their onboarding/trial process and the overall value offered by their pricing/hours. We are very thankful to have them as an option for our dog and highly recommend them.
While on vacation in Rochester, our dog, Savannah spent a few days at Dogs at Play. We were very pleased with her care. On the second day, she was thrilled to go back. The staff is very attentive and helpful! We were able to check in on the webcams and it put our minds at ease that she was having a good experience!
This dog day care is extremely clean, the owner and staff are fantastic, and I highly suggest it if you have a dog. Thank you dogs at play!!
I love this place. There’s always so many dogs for socializing! The people are so kind and hardworking. They have 2 outdoor yards that the dogs use pretty much all the time. The pricing is the best in Rochester. They also have streaming video of the different rooms not a lot of other daycares offer this. Take your fur baby here for some fun!! Your dog will come home TIRED!!!
My dog absolutely loves coming to day care at Dogs at Play. If I wasn't as careful, she would try to jump out the window to get in there sooner. Has been extremely helpful in socializing her as a puppy. The owner and staff that work there are all fantastic as well. They know all the dogs by name and are so great with them. The best part is my dog is completely exhausted and ready to sleep the night away after I pick her up. Definitely recommend to anyone!
Not sure what I would do without Dogs at Play! We've been coming for almost two years and not only is it a safe and fun place for our dog to be during the day, the staff is always recommending tips for behavior, etc. Being able to look in via webcams is such a wonderful bonus! Dogs at Play has my highest recommendation!
They take great care of my standard poodle for the day. I’ve been a customer for 12 years and have no worries or complaints. It’s very convenient if you work downtown.
I have been taking my dog here 3 days a week for a little over 3 years and have nothing but good things to say about this place. The staff are fantastic, very friendly and my dog really likes them. In fact as my car rounds the corner to drop him off in the morning my dog can hardly contain his excitement! To me this speaks volumes! I'm extremely picky about my dog and I would never ever take him any place else. The hours are great, the prices very fair. Great place for your dog to spend the day.
I have been a customer of Dogs at play for three years. If I did not believe completely in their ability, that would have been one day. My dog is my family, and I do not lightly trust his well-being to anyone. I was referred to Emily and her staff by both my vet and the trainer at my local humane society. I heard excellent things, and went to see the way it worked. I was impressed, and made an appointment to bring my dog in. They spend time with your dog before he or she joins the group there - they don't just take anyone with a handful of cash. Since then, they have watched after my dog a couple days a week, and when I pick him up I hear how his day was, what kind of interactions he had, and whether they noticed any health concerns. He is a happy, well socialized dog because of his time there. It is a well run, safe facility staffed by people who enjoy what they do and care for the animals in their charge. I can see my boy on the webcams, and sometimes see his picture on their facebook page. I recommend Dogs at play to anyone who wants their dog to be safe and cared for when they can't be with them.
I recently had my dog groomed at Lakewind, it was his 3rd time and I couldn't be happier with the experience. The staff were friendly and professional, and they clearly have a deep love for animals. My dog looked and smelled fantastic after the grooming, and the whole process was smooth and stress-free. I highly recommend Ashley to anyone looking for top-notch grooming services. I'll definitely keep returning!
My two boys go there every 6 weeks to get groomed and when I pick them up they always look beautiful. I also have a bad leg and they're more than willing to come out and help me get the dogs in and bring the dogs out when I pick them up .❤️
I’ve been taking my two dogs to Lakewind for years now and not only do they love going but I love bringing them here. They are both large and Ashley does a great job grooming them. Becky is always extremely helpful with any questions I have. They make you feel so comfortable when leaving your fur babes in their hands. We are Lakewind Kennel lifers!!
I have twin dogs brought them both in for grooming and nails and they did a fabulous job. Both of my dogs are rescues. But they did not disappoint. I spoke to Ashely and one other lady and they both were very very respectful! They stayed in touch and told me everything about the visit. Very clean place! Highly recommend them!! Will be back for sure.
This place is AMAZING! They took great care of our big old baby Lincoln (golden retriever) and made him super comfortable. He came home looking so fresh and dapper! Also Ashley did an amazing job with our little baby Kennedy (pug) who’s a pain to cut nails with. Highly recommend and this will be the ONLY place my precious boys will ever go going forward!!!! 100%
Great experience with grooming. My dogs look stunning (Handsome and beautiful)
We have boarded our Poms Molly and Charley here a couple of times. Last time we picked them up in their kennels and when we got home we noticed Charley had a large piece of hard feces matted on the back of her butt. She has a very long, thick coat, and is not the easiest dog to work with, so I was understanding and we decided to give them another chance. We just picked them up and again Charley had a HUGE mound of hard feces which was so hard that it must’ve been there for at least a couple of days. It smelled horrific and this poor dog was just walking around like this. I don’t even know if they pay enough attention to know it was there which is not acceptable, and if they did know it was there and didn’t even try to help her out with a wipe when it was fresh, or by cutting it out, that’s also unacceptable. They clearly neglected our dogs. We will not be returning. Update in response to owner’s response: Hi Becky. I did not think I would have to ask a kennel to not send my dog home with impacted feces on her back end for a 2nd time. I assumed you guys did not see it the first time around, but this time was much more extreme. Firstly, she smelled so strongly of feces there is no way someone did not smell it. The smell filled up my entire car the second I put her kennel in. Secondly, despite the smell, I saw it as soon as I put her down in the house and she walked away from me. She is a Pom so her tail curls up. Yes she has long hair but it was not covering the huge mound of poop hanging off her back end. You did not have to do an “inspection” of any kind, someone would just have to look at her to notice it. I also just want to clarify that I did not say “Charley is a mess”. I said “please don’t try to brush her because she has very bad anxiety and doesn’t like it”. She trusts her owners to brush her but gets anxiety with others. She is on steroids for a medical condition which has upped her anxiety, and we are working with the vet to lower this anxiety so that we can brush her mats out. Last time she came she had just been brushed, and there was still a very hard mound of poop stuck to her, so it is not an issue of her hair being matted. We do not feel confident that our dogs are being attended to in the way they should in your care, and I am sad that there is no level of acknowledgment of that on your end. Thanks.
I always bring my 3 dogs there together to get groomed. Ashley does an amazing job every time. My dogs get nervous and she is so good with them! I highly recommend!!!
CHOP SHOP!! Unfortunately Becky is extremely rude, and unhelpful, and defensive to receiving feedback around my poor hair cut on my dog. Just picked up my dog from his grooming appointment. The signs everywhere say it should take 2-3 hours, as it has at any other appointment he’s has. This was barely one hour. These are many spots that weren’t cut at all, and the area that was asked to not cut at all, completely hacked in half. The entire body is uneven. She didn’t get his belly at all. Nothing matches. The so disappointed. When I called Becky was immediately defensive and sharing how it’s my fault that her groomer did a poor job, and that she’d be posting it to Facebook. Which I didn’t approve to take photos of my dog while in their care. I asked for a refund or a discount on the poor job and she said “we don’t do refunds, this isn’t Petsmart.” It’s not. It’s a scam job. My dog looks terrible. Do not trust this groomer.
Lakewind Kennels is the best! The owner Becky and her staff are wonderful, caring people! If you need boarding, grooming etc this is the place to go!
Zeus has boarded twice now. The first time our flight was delayed and they gave no issue having him stay another night. It was a very smooth process. Both times boarding Zeus stayed 4 nights or more and came back great. I love that you can text and ask for picture updates of our pup. The staff have been friendly and it honestly was a smoother process for boarding getting set up than larger organizations. The facility is clean and I like seeing similar staff there. I also met the manager this time who was very nice. Boarding has been phenomenal and has allowed our family to finally vacation after 5 years. Pics below of Zeus boarding.
Our pup has had a great experience boarding at Tails of Success. More importantly perhaps, we feel good about leaving her there! The staff is extremely friendly and responsive, answering all our questions about boarding and texting us updates so we know how she's doing throughout her stay. We took Real Life Manners class there last summer, which was very worthwhile. This is a lovely place for dog community and we're excited to be starting with Daycare as well!
Tails of Success is great, whether you and your dog are taking a class or your dog is attending daycare. All the staff and trainers are very professional and nice. My dog and I have been coming here for training/daycare for several years and every interaction has been great. They truly care about the animals and people they serve and it shows!
Tails of Success is a great place to bring the "kids"! They get sooooo excited when they know we're close and they can't wait to get inside and back to play with the other dogs! I love how they post pictures online so we can see them having fun with their friends, and they've always been very accommodating if I need to switch a day for a given week, or need boarding. The fun report cards and events around the holidays are also a nicety for both the pups and the parents! I'm always at ease knowing the dogs are in good hands when they're at Tails! Thank you! :)
Hope is truly a dog whisperer. Our delightful, but naughty puppy has made great progress taking puppy levels 1 & 2. We're excited to start level 3. All I can say is these classes give us Hope that our puppy will advance to Good Canine Citizen.
My pup loves going to daycare at tails of success, training class was also really good. She's excited and happy to be there every time so I know they treat her well
We have really enjoyed the basic training classes at Tails of Success. Hope is a great instructor and makes classes a lot of fun for the doggies and the humans! We enjoyed the classes so much that we have continued with them up to level 3 (I think there are 4). We have learned a lot and have found the homework helpful (especially with “leave it”). We have also been pleased with their boarding services. They have every dog complete a one night overnight stay to ensure that they are appropriate for a boarding (which I really appreciate)! We received a lovely “report card” from the initial overnight, which I felt was really thoughtful written. It seems like they took the time to make sure our doggie was appropriate for a stay and happy there, which it seems like he was! I have been very happy with Tails of Success and Hope and have highly recommend it to neighbors, friends etc!
I board my dog here and he absolutely loves it. While he’s on vacation, he gets to go to daycare and play with the other dogs all day and he has the BEST time. I’ve never seen him get excited like he does when we pull in here. But what’s even more remarkable is that he normally hates humans and gets anxious and scared, but he is seriously ecstatic to see everyone that works here. It makes me so happy to see this and it is a true testament to how great the staff is. Everyone is so nice and lovely to work with and they’re very responsive to check-ins. I am grateful to have found Tails of Success and it gives me peace of mind knowing that my dog is having a great time while I’m away.
Our pup goes to Tails of Success for daycare, boarding, training and grooming and EVERYTHING has been wonderful! It's her favorite place to be!! We love them so much! 🫶🐶 …
My Australian Shepard/ border collie puppy Rosie just graduated from her first class and we learned so much and she even had a little playtime with the other doggies, now time to sign up for lever 2!
Our cat just finished his second stay at Paws and Claws. The staff are kind, accommodating, and the communication is amazing. Leaving pets while traveling is stressful but we got an email around 7:00 every morning with several photos of him having some playtime and it helped put our minds at ease that he was safe and well cared for. We feel very comfortable leaving our kitty in their care
We have boarded our dog here and it is always a wonderful experience. The communication is excellent and the daily pictures are an absolute joy. The staff are kind and attentive. Paws and Claws has been the best boarding experience in the area. A big shout out to all of you.
Just completed the teenage puppy class with Jeff, and it was one of the better experiences I've had in the process of training my puppy. Jeff is highly knowledgeable and helped boost the confidence of both me and my puppy. The classes include a huge number of resources distributed by his partner Fran, which allows you to keep working with your puppy for a long time. I highly recommend this class to anyone and everyone!
We just completed Jeff’s teen puppy training with our dog Duke and it was great! I highly recommend! He really understands the nature of dogs and is a very effective trainer! Our dog learned a lot and more importantly, we learned how to reinforce the behavior we want and discourage what we don’t want. We will definitely be signing up for more classes with Jeff!
We boarded our girl here for our wedding and had the most incredible experience! The daily pictures (including a special wedding pic) showed the happiest dog in the world, making our mornings so bright. She was THRILLED and very obviously enriched and cared for. For about a week after we picked her up, all she did was sleep! Tired dog = happy dog! She takes daily medication and wishes every other animal would perish which makes it hard to find a boarding facility we can trust to keep her safe (and any other animals) without her just being trapped in a crate. We are so lucky to have found Paws and Claws! Everyone here works together SO WELL to accomplish the incredibly difficult and nuanced task of providing such a high level of care. I love my dog more than anything so to say I would trust Paws and Claws to watch her ANYTIME, I really mean it. They’re the best!
I took my shih tzu to Paws and Claws for a dog training course with Jeff Bushorr. Jeff was an excellent trainer. He was very personable and super sweet with all of the dogs. He provided great education on dog behavior and positive behavior reinforcement. I highly recommend him.
I am very happy with this place. I booked last minute last week and they were able to accommodate all 3 of my cats! Not only was the communication great, they sent pictures of my babies every day so that I knew they were okay :) I will definitely be using this place again! You definitely get what you pay for.
Great service - valet drop-off and pickup. Personnel are always friendly and helpful. A caring place for doggie daycare or boarding. You can trust that your ,Fido will be well cared for.
Paws and Claws is a wonderful, well run, clean, and safe daycare and boarding center! The staff truly care and go out of their way to make sure your dogs needs are met and then some! My dog Ivy loves going to “school” at Paws and Claws!
Canine Good Citizens’ recent class was run by Jeff and his assistant Dan. Though we met only 1 hour, once a week, my dog and I learned the skills needed to pass~demonstrating the importance of practice! The human (handler) is the true student. The dog (beloved- animal-friend) is the reward we work toward. If we hope to modify behaviors and achieve certain skills with our dog, we first learn how to teach. P&C’s trainers teach the humans to teach their dogs! Through our training we ask our dogs to work with us and we stand by our expectations. Positive reinforcement is the only method deployed. Humans are expected to be consistent and reinforce (as homework) in order to effectively teach their dog. 5 stars- Comfort and safety level within the building, class and with the instructors. 5 stars- encouraged to ask questions and ask for help 5 stars- cleanliness of the environment 5 stars- professional, kind, empathetic trainers. 5 stars- fun, interesting educational, worth the cost of the course 5 + stars- Jeff’s two dogs…Thor and BamBam are wonderful, intelligent, loving dogs. Cutest mascots Ever!!!
We were nervous leaving Tango at a kennel for the first time. We always had a family member watch her. But when the family plan fell through we were scrambling to find a place for her. After talking to a half dozen places we finally got a recommendation to call Pheasant Creek. They were great to work with, Brooke was great and put us at ease. Tango had a great time and we loved the report cards and check in’s! Thank you, we will be back!
I've been going to Pheasant Creek for years with my former doggies and my current pup. Jason runs a clean, reputable facility. He has a competent staff who really love the animals. My guy loves it there! Highly recommend!
I am confident leaving my large dog there. They take excellent care of the animals with which they are entrusted. Clean and efficient, and will follow up with a phone call if any concerns present themselves. I have used them multiple times and highly recommend!
Perfect vacation spot for my dogs! They can stay together with plenty of room and playtime. Staff is friendly and genuinely likes and cares about dogs. I recommend Pheasant Creek to all my friends.
Always ,very pleasant, even if I call often. Also took great care of my dog.
We switched to them from a previous dog sitting resort. This is now the second year in a row we've used their services. And let me tell you they are great. Brooke is awesome & understanding of our 2 dogs needs. Plus they give you this super report of their stay with a few pictures of them playing. Definitely would use them again
Rocksy spent over seven stays at Pheasant Creek. She loves it and the individuals that take care of her. Pheasant Creek is the best.
We have taken our dogs to Pheasant Creek for many years. Our girls are so excited to go there that they get out of the car and run to the door. The people that work there are very welcoming to the dogs. Their care while they are there is excellent! We love that they get report cards from during their stay that includes pictures of them playing outside. I would highly recommend Pheasant Creek, they truly care about your pets ❤️
Brooke and company have always done a fantastic job With our dog, Cody! Cody's ears always perk up when we bring up Brooke's name at home and he knows a "vacation" is coming up for him at Pheasant Creek! He has gone there Many Years now Our number one choice for himFor any reason
Fantastic dog boarding facility that I cannot recommend enough for your furry friends. The prices are extremely affordable and beat all of the other places I researched for our dogs. But don't let the low prices fool you-this place goes well above and beyond in accommodating your dogs and cats. We had out two dogs boarded and they had a vast array of comforting amenities - from the large kennels with indoor and outdoor spaces, options for daily hiking and swimming activities, multiple daily potty breaks/walks in their large dog yard, customized feeding and treat routines, grooming and bathing, ect ect. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful and obviously showered my pups with love. Even my shy dog Lexi loved the employees and she rarely warms up like that, which speaks volumes about her experience here. The facility is located right on the family's home/farm and is a truly beautiful setting. Everything was very clean and well cared for. When we picked our dogs up they were freshly bathed and couldn't have been happier- so I know they enjoyed their time... I don't even think they missed us they had so much fun lol. They also offer cat boarding here which we didn't use this time, but will be doing so in the future after seeing how well they took care of our dogs. I've used a few other kennels in the past and Pheasant Creek is by far the best one - I had zero reservations about leaving my dogs for two weeks and took comfort knowing they were loved on in my absence. We were given a little doggy report card with pictures and ratings on how our pups did (they were angels!) which was such a thoughtful touch. Again I cannot recommend Jason, Brooke and the rest of the team at Pheasant Creek for looking after your pets. Thank you all again for taking such wonderful care of Lexi and Jaden! See you next time!!
I cannot say enough great things about Ruff Day Resort! The staff's passion for what they do is evident from the moment you walk in. Winston has been attending Tiny Town for about six months now, twice a week, and he absolutely adores it. The team is incredibly accommodating with scheduling, which is such a relief for a busy pet parent like myself. Winston comes home exhausted from all the fun he has with his furry friends, often passing out in the car on the way back. Thank you, Ruff Day Resort, for providing such a safe and enjoyable environment for our beloved pets!
My dogs have been going to Ruff Day for daycare, boarding and training for the past two and half years. The staff is always attentive and makes sure my pups feel loved when they are away from my family. The facility is beautiful and I love the fact that the yards are turf so there is no muddy paws coming home. Highly recommend!
We've had such a good experience at Ruff Day since we started. Their facilities are top notch and the people are kind and accommodating. They were able to give our pup medication during boarding and I really appreciated the care he got.
* Since I cannot reply to the reply I’m editing I was not happy in June as they canceled and rescheduled multiple times groom was great. I was happy with the groom! This last visit yes the pups looked great but YOU CHARGED me without telling me the total and without consent. You charged me before we picked up!! If we don’t come in the increase should be communicated with and before services. Read additional reviews others have been charged without notice and extra fees without communication!!! See review 2 months ago from boarding charges. Took my dogs for grooming 2, 20lbs dogs no mats for a basic haircut. They upped the price without telling us. This was a $40 increase from last visit. They charged my card before I got there without authorization. I called to speak to the manager. Amy’s response increases were posted for 30 days in July. Ok still should tell the customer! They charged me $188 that’s crazy! I did not authorize this I was not made aware of the crazy price increase. When challenged Amy says we have you on camera bringing them in for groom. Ok yes not saying we weren’t there!! Again, charged we without my permission and without communicating the price!! I now have the next appointment at a different groomer $65 each. This place is a rip off go somewhere else!!!!
Another great stay at Ruff Day for our 2 year old Boston Blanche. She gets so excited when we pull in the driveway. She can get a little rambunctious so she is placed with dogs matching her energy. They take such good care of her. All the employees love her and I can tell the feeling is mutual. I recommend Ruff Day for either a one day play day or overnight if you are planning a trip.
I cannot recommend Ruff Day highly enough! My dog has attended daycare for two years and HE LOVES IT! The staff is caring and kind, and the ratio of staff to dogs is low so that dogs are properly supervised. There are so many big and little things that this facility attends to that I cannot imagine going anywhere else. LOVE RUFF DAY!!!
I've been bringing my dog to Ruff Day since he was a baby for daycare and boarding. He's grown up with them! Ruff Day has become such a safe and reliable resource for me, a working dog mom, to keep my boy active and happy when I can't be there for him. I trust wholeheartedly that they would do every right thing for my boy should something happen... and I felt that comfort with them from the start 2 years ago. Their facility is spotless, it's big, fun, and comfy for the dogs. I highly recommend Ruff Day! 10/10 on all fronts.
From a financial standpoint, it cost us over $900 to board our dog for one week. We paid the initial fee two weeks prior. Then , in the middle of our vacation, received another bill of almost $400 that no one told us about. They just emailed the bill without any explanation of additional charges. It should have been something told to us up front, that there was a chance of additional charges or at they very least they should have called before billing us. We have been to several kennels (they were all booked) and have never received additional charges like that. During our pup's stay, they did call us to tell us they had to make some modifications to her arrangements, but they never mentioned those came with a cost. Very disappointed in the customer service. Much prefer Paws and Claws where dogs are not crated and additional fees are not placed upon the dog's stay.
In response to Russell Arturo's review. I applaud Ruff Day Resort for making room and accommodations for your dog Layla, even WITHOUT her mandated vaccinations!! I can tell you that Amy and her staff have always been professional and caring for our dog. I would also like to point out that other day cares in the area would have told you "tough luck" about leaving for vacation in 20 minutes and not taking care of your dog's vaccines, to keep her (and other dogs) safe from disease, even with 6 months time to do so! You seem as though you do not care about your Layla (or other dogs), as much as your vacation! I truly hope your vacation was worth it and I pray that poor Layla is provided better care by you moving forward.
This dog daycare is the best. They make sure that the dogs are vaccinated so that everyone is safe. They remove collars when the dogs come in so no one gets hurt on a collar. They only take appointments to make sure that there is a good human/dog ratio. Their priority is the care and safety of the dogs. My puppy, Taylor gets so excited when we pull into the parking lot. We tried another daycare prior to this one. Trust me, if you want to ensure the safety of your fur baby, this is the daycare to go to!
