Iris is a delight - rambunctious, personality-plus and lovable. Sarah did a training session when I arrived, and that was a good thing - as I used her advice with Iris to a tee! We went on walks, cuddled and I really enjoyed my time with Iris. Lovely, bright home and beautiful garden. My only regret is not having taken advantage of the hot tub one night to view the stars. The town of Anacortes is also a wonderful place to connect, rejuvenate and explore interesting bookstores and fun restaurants. Loved this sit!
Sitting for Sharon's family in Edinburgh was a wonderful experience. Her home was located by a canal and a local park, just convenient to get to the city centre too. The communication before and during the sit was all easy and Sharon's a very kind and understanding person. I got a video explaining how to clean the tube of the hamster's cage. Also some notes for additional information on the day I arrived, well prepared me to take good care of their lovely pets. Georgi was really a sweet girl and always gave me a cute face when she wanted to be spoiled. She's like a shadow, always round you, if you like very affectionate doggie, she'll be your cup of tea. Indeed she's a good walker too. Toffee the hamster was super adorable. I happened to see Toffee acting like a gymnast in the evening one day! Sharon's home and family was just warm and comfy. She had me staying for a dinner on the day before their departure, and left me a surprise basket of snacks and a wine to enjoy. I did enjoy much at their home and the beautiful Edinburgh!
We thoroughly appreciated Fran and Phil's home in London. They are well organised, very clear and experienced with housesitters. Hetty was a little shy at first, but with time, love and patience she comes around. We appreciated the area, the use of the bikes and the easy organisation of the home. The back garden is a small paradise of neighborhood life.
Everything was exceedingly pleasant! Jo is very welcoming, thoughtful and organised. Bonnie is an adorable dog who looked very sad when I left which did make things a little bit trickier regarding my departure, but of course this was part of the wonderful experience. Thank you Jo, Frank and Bonnie for having me and for trusting me with your home for a couple of days.
Alicia was very easy to communicate with, and her home was absolutely lovely. The location is great if you're wanting to get a taste for downtown Roanoke and do some hiking in the area. We ended up doing McAfee Knob on the AT and hope to return someday to do the Tinker Cliffs! Maddy is such a cuddler, and her meow is adorable and distinctive. I would recommend this sit to anyone and hope to be back in the future!
This was a delightful sit. Toby & Lucy have created a modern yet cosy and very well appointed home that is a pleasure to relax and work in. Instructions were clear, with relaxed and easy communication. Ernie is a champion snuggler and purr monster- if you are amenable he will basically want to be worn like a sweater. An absolute darling. Wilbur is more reserved but eventually he can’t resist getting in on some action and hanging out with the gang. Really enjoyed my stay and would thoroughly recommend.
