Fredda & Birch were amazingly kind. I couldn't hope for any better sit in Oakland. Their house is in a very quite neighborhood and public transportation is just around the corner. The backyard is an amazing place for the morning coffee and lunch during the summer. I enjoyed every bit of it. Lucca was a lovely dog, very alert and take well care of the house. He behaved very well while walking around and just barked here and there to some dogs but nothing more. He ate his medicine like it was a treat, so it was avery easy task. He likes to sleep a lot and is happy to go on walks. I totally recommend Fredda's and Birch's house to other sitters, I'm sure it will be an amazing stay. Thanks for everything.
I had a lovely sit, Maggie explained everything thoroughly helping me feel at ease during my stay. Even though Bob is shy, i can say he still appreciated the company. Stanley will soak up all the stroking he can get, i loved it! Would defiantly sit for Maggie again in future!
Sandra and Steve were the perfect hosts, they made us so welcome with drinks in the garden and a tasty bbq. Their villa is modern and comfortable, has a stunning garden and is in an excellent location for exploring the Mar Menor. Jack is a quiet, affectionate cat and very easy to look after. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return again.
I loved pet sitting for Monika! Rachel and Sheldon were so cute and easy to care for, the apartment was so comfortable and convenient and nice, and the neighborhood had everything I needed for my three week stay. I would pet sit again for sure!
It was a pleasure to care for the cutest kitten siblings Greta and Fritz. Sally was communicative in the beginning, mentioning that Greta required some medications and extra care due to a recent injury. I was aware of this, and had no problem administering medications and making the space accommodating for Greta's healing journey. While this is probably an outlier, I do advise any housesitters to have active medical records for all their animals. Unfortunately, Greta was not in the system yet so I could not take her to the vet had anything serious happen. Overall, the cats were great sweeties and super cuddly. They are very affectionate and will follow you everywhere. I also realized I am allergic to young kittens haha.
Marnie's home is semi-rural with great views which can be appreciated on her deck, enjoying a glass of wine! I met Marnie a month prior to the sit, and again at the end of the sit, and found her to be a warm and welcoming lady. She left comprehensive notes on her house, the garden and its watering requirements, and her lovely cat, Mini, which was most appreciated. Mini was easy to care for and love, spending most of the daytime outside, then on the bed at night. Because of the location, a car is essential for popping into Castlemaine for shopping/groceries, and if you want to explore all that Castlemaine and its surrounding area has to offer. It is a very peaceful and relaxing location to sit.

Absolutely great! Shargi took care of my dog Emmi for 10days while I was waiting for her paperwork to fly to Europe. I am always nervous to leave her with someone, but she was taken care of in the best way possible. Great trainer, my dog is now crate trained!! I was updated with often pictures and videos, and not for one second did I worry that Emmi was not in good hands. Just amazing, 5 starts any day for Trails for Tails!
Shragi took great care of my two dogs for three nights, especially with one of our rescues that is highly skittish around people. He was sensitive and thoughtful in how he approached her. I loved the updates that he sent while we were away, and he did door-to-door pick-up and drop off for our pups where we live in Westchester. He also did some training with our other dog, who has retained that training since we got him back. I recommend Shragi and his business and appreciated his flexibility when we had to extend our stay.

Paw Pals provided excellent care for Nala while I was away! Given that she's a working line German Shepherd, I was worried about meeting her mental and physical activity needs during boarding. However, Paw Pals kept her active, engaged, and stimulated with walks, puzzles, and playtime. Brittanie was incredibly responsive and reassuring when I checked in, even sending extra photos for my peace of mind. They continuously refine and improve their practices to be inclusive of all types of dogs, from their daycare program and individual enrichment activities to on-site training and even micro groups for selective dogs. I can not thank the Paw Pals team enough. We got our puppy in the middle of winter, so it was challenging to find ways to help him socialize with other dogs and people. I am so happy we found Paw Pals! Jet was nervous the first time he walked in, but after that, he always walked in with a smile and a wagging tail! They are very accommodating when we send him (3-4 times a month). We don’t send him often, but the few times he has attended daycare shows that it helped him feel comfortable around new dogs and people. We feel at ease knowing he is with kind professionals, exercising and socializing, and the pictures they send us make our day. I can tell the owner is diligent with whom she hires and is a kind and caring professional. Their website is straightforward and easy to navigate. Paw Pals is the best - our dogs love to go there. The last time we boarded them, Paw Pals literally saved our summer vacation - one of our dogs needed a visit to the vet while we were away (non serious but needed to go) and the owner took her for us so we didn’t have to disappoint our kids and cut our trip short. They always take great care of our babies and go above and beyond.

Paw pals exceeded our expectations! This was our first experience boarding our extremely nervous dog and the entire staff took such good care of our dog and our family! They sent two report cards a day with a written and picture update and made us feel so at ease while we were away on our vacation. I’m so relieved to have found them! They helped us out in a pinch early on in my puppy’s life and now they are our go to. We had to use another place one weekend that our dog hated so much that he wouldn’t get in the car for the next trip. Once we arrived at Dan’s place (instead of the other) my puppy was visibly relieved and charged for the entrance. He LOVES it here. Cameras are a nice touch. Staff is excellent. 10/10

Pampered Paws is the best! I can’t say enough nice things about Dan and his crew. They are amazing. They offer grooming, boarding, and doggie daycare. Each service is exceptional! We are thrilled to have a place that is so clean and everyone is nice and caring. Our dog Franny absolutely loves going there. No goodbyes or sad faces when we drop her off, she’s like “see-ya later” and leaves us while she is running inside. This makes my heart happy. Most importantly, I know Franny is safe, happy and gets lots of love there. She comes home from daycare and boarding relaxed and content. I know that when Franny is at Pampered Paws she is getting the best care and love. Period. Thank you Dan, Shannon, Marcos and other team members! Franny loves you guys!
I sent my puppy there for the first time this weekend. they were so nice such good people, my dog loved it, I was a little worried since my dog didn't get along with other dogs so well. but wonders ever since I picked him up he's a new puppy so friendly and fun I take him to the parks and he loves playing with other dogs now. he is such a different and better dog. I definitely recommend this place as #1 they're so good with the dogs and the dogs loves it,
The best compliment is that Murphy loves it As soon as I turn the corner he wants to jump out the car. This is Murphy’s weekend spot. The staff is amazing they are so nice and professional and Dan is absolutely amazing best groomer in Rockland he caught an ear infection early on and saved me a costly vet bill Dan is caring, compassionate and runs a great day. Care/kennel/grooming. Again if Murphy is happy that speaks volumes!!!!!!😍
Pampered Paws is an outstanding place! I have a dog that gets nervous about grooming but Dan and his staff make my dog feel comfortable. He always comes back happy and looking perfect! Thankfully, Dan noticed an issue with my dog's back leg recently which led us right to the vet. A diagnosis of Anaplasma (a tick born disease) was treated with antibiotics. Dan noticed it before anyone in my family did. Dan pays tremendous attention to all of the dogs and was instrumental in keeping my dog healthy. Thank you Dan!!! There is no one better!!!

Dan and his staff took the time and had endless patience to deal with his seperation issues and fear of other dogs. They went above and beyond to ensure he was settled in, calm and safe. They never gave up on him. Lionel and I are incredibly grateful for their obvious love and dedication to the dogs under their care.
Best place ever!! I'm usually skeptical about where I leave my dog but she had the best time and they took really good care of her so I can go to the yankee game. My favorite hotel allows dogs and now I know she don't have to be lonely. I will definitely come back and I recommend this lovely place to everyone. Just leave me a space.
The staff is SO amazing, the place is very clean.Our puppy had the most incredible time!! Super trustworthy and Just the best!! Highly recommend! I had a 3 month old puppy and had to go away. I was very nervous. Dan the owner completely put me at ease. He was so accommodating. He always texted me right back. There were web cameras in facility so I could monitor my baby. I was sent little videos to ensure his well-being. I even got to face time him. The facility was also convenient and easy to find. There are woods and a trail behind the center for walks. Also, because I had to leave him a few days I received a free wash and nail clipping. Cannot recommend enough! I will definitely use again!!!
Absolute best place! They have caring people taking care of your loving pet! My dog loves being there and loves hanging out with the staff all day. Only a few months after a total hip replacement I trusted them with my dog and they took great care of him. I will always use them!
We had a really exceptional experience at Best Friends. I just boarded our dog Misha for a couple of days, and included a bath and "trim" in the package. They were careful to tell me that the trim wasn't really full grooming -- that was fine with me. Misha has tangled, matted fur that I find nearly impossible to take care of, so any help was welcome. I mean, I'm embarrassed to admit he even had little twigs and pieces of leaves embedded in his fur! Anyway, I didn't expect Best Friends to be able to do much beyond giving him a bath and maybe brushing out a little excess dog hair. But, when I picked him up last night -- unbelievable! He was beautifully trimmed and bathed. I don't know how the person (or people) who bathed him managed to do it, but the results were really really impressive, and way beyond my expectations. I should also extend my compliments to the rest of the staff. My dog is anxious and doesn't like being boarded, but this place has such a good vibe, he was as calm as I've ever seen him at a kennel. The people working the front desk when I dropped him off and when I picked him up really knew how to talk to him and calm him down.
Very caring staff. They take good care of the Peace4Paws dogs. They are very helpful to our volunteers as well. They have helped facilitate adoptions. They care about the rescue dogs and the client dogs very much!
I have been using Best Friends for many years. I used them with my sweet dog Lucy and now with my new dog Hazel. At Best Friends they are friendly, patient and accommodating. I know when I bring Hazel there for an extended period of time she is in good hands. I can see her play on the dog camera, and I watch her socialize with the other dogs. When I pick her up, I know she had fun, and she is extremely exhausted from all the excitement and activities. One day, I plan on taking her to the doggy day care so she can have fun when I am at work. Oh, and one last thing they also have grooming so when I pick her up, she is soft and clean.
We have been taking our dog Daisy to Best Friends in Chestnut Ridge for about 3 yrs for both day care and boarding since she was a puppy. John and all of the staff there are so caring and show her so much love. I know that she is very well cared for when she is there because she gets very excited when we drop her off and comes home very happy and content. The grooming services are great too. Daisy always comes home smelling fresh and clean. The staff is also very accommodating and helpful. I'm thankful we have a place that we trust to care for Daisy!
Having been using Best Friends for the last 3-4 years for our elderly morkie. She is always taken care of when we go away. They also have cameras where you can check in during the day. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

He gets SO excited when he walks in but particularly when he sees Jackie & Victoria too! I love that all the staff truly care and make you feel they love your pup just as much as you do! I always feel better knowing the BF team are taking care of my lil guy! I highly recommend the day camp & Jackie’s baths. Both are affordable rates & I always make sure to tip for the bathing AND the staff .. you can do both separately which I think is great!
When I picked up Luna from her 2 night stay she was clean and didn't seem to want to leave lol. I am happy I found this place because I feel like I can actually trust that she'll be okay while we're away.
Best Friends is the only boarding facility I found in the area that has real fenced-in grassy areas and takes the dogs out each morning and afternoon for potty breaks. The other boarding facilities advertise "all day play" to hide the fact that the dogs there never seen sunlight or fresh grass. I trust Best Friends with my pup and will continue to use Best Friends in the future!

We recently moved to the area and needed a trustworthy boarding place for our pup. Mike and staff at Dog Rock are absolutely phenomenal. At our prior boarding place, our dog would come home fairly dirty and have a few behaviors that were atypical. Here, she came home SO happy and just had such positive happy energy. The staff threw her a birthday party during her stay as well, which was the cutest thing ever. We got daily pictures. They were very good about updates and I truly trust them with everything. Highly recommend 11/10.
Great place. Dogs are well cared for and they love coming here for day care and overnight boarding. One of my dogs does not like playing with other dogs. Instead he stays in his room and staff come and play with him throughout the day. My other dog loves playing with other dogs and enjoys playtime and visits with his brother. Great place, very clean. Would definitely recommend

For most people, their pets are a party of the family. Finding a place to leave your pet for the day, or board for an extended time, is not an easy decision. It is sometimes made harder when there are other considerations. We have a fairly timid dog that has high energy when playing with other dogs. Although he is still a puppy, he is 60 lbs. In addition to that, he is not neutered yet at 1 year, which means he is not allowed to play with the other dogs. When he was a bit younger, we kept him with a woman that boards in her house, but he proved to be too much for her and the other dogs there. After that we spent a bit of time looking for other facilities to use while we were away on a trip. Mike and the staff at Dog Rock were very understanding of our situation and accomodated a number of visits, emails and phone calls to help make us, including our dog, feel comfortable. Of all the boarding facilities in the area, Dog Rock has the highest amount of one on one time for a dog mostly confined to an enclosure. In addition to that, Dog Rock has has the biggest enclosures. You may so, “So what? My dog won’t be in an enclosure all day”. Well, it is so much more than that. While we were away, we got many email and text updates from the team letting us know how our pup was doing. They made us feel very comfortable about our decision. They are a top notch facilities with a very caring staff. Not to mention, the facility is beautiful and clean.
Dog Rock Resorts is like no other doggie day care/boarding place that I have been to.... and we have been to a few in the area. I was excited watching the place being built and seeing the design and detail difference from all the others. When you walk in it seems like a very well thought out upscale hotel. My dog Rusty is a great dog that does has some health issues with his hind legs. I have to say that the staff gave him such special care and kindness which made me so very relieved. They even sent some photos which indicated how happy he was. As an extra added bonus it is conveniently located right across from his vet. I could not recommend Dog Rock Resort more!!
Dog Rock takes doggie care to a whole new level. I just scoped it out yesterday to see if I could trust them with my shih tzu, and I was completely wowed. This is true puppy luxury. The boarding "suites", and they really are "suites", are awesome, and the amount of human interaction the staff provides for the dogs is better than any other option I have ever seen. They even send you texts with pictures and videos of your dog throughout the stay. Definitely recommend checking this place out.

Have had a good experience here , the groomers appear friendly and my dog always seems happy when she comes out. We always discuss the look prior to getting her haircut. Only taking 1 star off because my poodle was not really given the haircut agreed upon prior to the groom. Usually they’re pretty good, but this time around, they trimmed all the hair off the ears. Just hope next time they let me know if the decision was made because she was too matted or needed the trim. I also don’t like that they don’t brush their teeth. Overall good experience with these groomers and seem like they care to treat the dogs well.
Madison Dog Resort is amazing! The staff is so caring, and the facility is spotless and thoughtfully designed. Our French Bulldog loves it here and always comes home happy. We especially appreciate the updates and photos they send. Highly recommend for top-notch pet care!
Picked up my dog from this place and he was dirty and had a mark on his face didn’t think much of it until after we washed him we noticed he had a bite mark on his face that looked like they had cleaned up well. After bringing the dog to the vet it turned out to be a dog bite and the spa never said anything about it but definitely knew about it . Needless to say I won’t be using there facility . again after barely being able to stand how bad the smell is inside and not disclosing my dog was injured and felt like they were waiting for us to notice if we saw the bite but it didn’t start to show until we cleaned him .
My dog loves going to the Madison (or the "bark bark" as he knows it). Whenever I mention that we're going to the bark bark, he gets so excited and is ready to bolt out the door. I know he plays hard and has a great time because he takes a big nap on the ride home. The humans at the Madison are great, too! They also do grooming, which is so convenient and my little guy gets to have some playtime before he gets his haircut. Definitely recommend!
We absolutely LOVE the Madison! We board our Boxer puppy here when we go away. The owner Ryan went above and beyond for us ..being the first time we were so nervous to leave her. Highly highly recommend the Madison for your pup! Great experience overall!
I am so thrilled to have found the Madison for my dog, Bowie! This was my first time boarding him since rescuing him last year, and I was more nervous than he was! When I picked him up, he was clean from his bath, well cared for, and had an absolute blast playing with his new doggie friends! I can’t recommend this enough for any dog owner. I love the Madison - it has been a Godsend when my dog is full of energy and I don't have time for a long walk, or if I am out for the day - so much nicer for them to be with other dogs and people. They supervise the dogs and give helpful feedback. It is clean and the people who work there are consistently friendly and not a lot of turnover so they are familiar faces and really get to know your dog. Kelly and the grooming staff are also really great - one of my dogs is really difficult to handle for baths but Kelly is always able to do it and never complains about her! Victor who runs The Madison is a really great person - cares very much about the business!
I absolutely LOVE the Madison! The staff is wonderful and caring! I feel completely confident in their dedication and love for dogs. The facility is clean and the staff is always taking such great care of the dogs. My dog gets so excited when we turn the corner heading to doggie daycare at the Madison! They have become like family!
Absolutely love The Madison! My dog has been going since he was old enough. He’s grown up at The Madison and enjoys his time there. The staff treats him like their own. They are so nice and very knowledgeable. I’ve learned so much from them . Being a first time dog owner, they have been a huge help . I recommend The Madison to everyone I know . We had a great experience with sending our dog to The Madison in Hawthorne. The staff took great care of him! There is always someone with the dogs and make sure they are playing appropriately. They offer grooming which we took advantage of a few times. We mainly used it for care while both my husband and I were at work. One thing to note is that our dog had issues with his paws getting worn down on the floors causing us to not be able to bring him there as often as we would have liked. Overall I would highly suggest using The Madison for your needs.
We've had a great experience with Fetch! I don't like sending my pup to a kennel, I prefer to send her to a home. Diane with Fetch has kept her for us a few times now and it's always been a very positive experience. Zelda comes home happy, calm and relaxed every time.
We have been using Fetch for over 10 years now and have not had a single bad experience. We have used several sitters and all have been wonderful. Fetch makes boarding your dog a treat for the owners and the pups. Recommend this service very highly.
Had a last minute and unusual pet sitting situation. Owner was extremely responsive, called me to discuss the situation and made arrangements catering to our needs. Very good communication, reliable and made us feel very comfortable. Will continue to use them in the future! Highly recommend.
We have been using Mike as our dog walker. He is the best!! He is great with our 2 dogs. They absolutely love him!! He gives me daily updates on how they did on their walks. We also have a few cats and one had surgery and when Mike came to walk our dogs he would also give a little extra love to him and also let me know how he was doing when he was there. Fetch is awesome!! I would recommend them to anyone.
I have been using Fetch pet care for many years and I could not say enough about how helpful and flexible they have been. On occasion I have called for a scheduled dog walk last minute for later that day and they have always been able to accommodate me. They have terrific staff that stay in my home when I travel and keep in touch with me while I’m gone. I have used Fetch in Boise, Idaho and Burbank, California and was very impressed with the quality of the pet sitters in each city. Then I used Fetch in Ridgewood and was not disappointed! The pet sitters were easy to work with but, most of all, they treated my dog like their own. When I picked up my dog, Buddy, from an overnight with Amy, I knew she passed the test with flying colors because as I held my dog and was saying goodbye, he leaned over and licked Amy right on the nose. Better than the Good Housekeeping seal of approval!!
Fetch really is the best. We've used them for almost 2 years now and I'm so glad that our neighbor recommended them to us. They are always there when we need them, even when it has been last minute. I'm always amazed at how quickly they respond to emails and texts when I need a last minute walk or visit. Our primary sitter is amazing with our dog and on the very rare occasion when she is not available they have a backup team (who our dog got to know in advance) that is equally fantastic. Can't say enough nice things and I honestly don't know what we'd do without them.
Fetch Pet Care made sure my cat was well attended while I was on vacation. This was my first time using a pet care service and Janice answered all my questions and put me at ease. Nicole did a great job and was very reliable. I will definitely be using them again in the future!
Dealing with Janice at Fetch and Debbie our sitter/walker that was assigned to us was one of the more enjoyable encounters we've had with outside contractors. And when it comes to leaving your dog's care in the hands of others, its not always the best experience. Dealing with Fetch was the exception, they were Super Great!
