Peter was very responsive and thorough in making sure he had all the information to effectively care for my 2 cats. Unfortunately, the week of his arrival I tested positive for Covid. Peter was extremely understanding and told me to hold off booking him a hotel as a backup in case I ended up being able to recover in time for my flight. I kept him updated on my recovery and ultimately ended up booking him a hotel as I didn’t recover in time. His support through this uncertainty meant so much! On our video call leading up to his stay (before I got sick), Peter asked questions I don’t even know about my rental apartment, like where the water shut off is. He’s obviously a responsible homeowner! After our video call, I had complete confidence in him and was excited for him to meet my cats. This is unusual for me as I’m normally very anxious to leave my cats with anyone. I would definitely recommend Peter as a sitter or have him sit for me in the future!
This was the third time we've been lucky enough to have Marjorie look after our cats, Evie and Jones. As previously, Marjorie was marvellous. She is extremely organised and reliable. All the arrangements were made simply and she kept us informed regularly during her sit. She is very self-sufficient and seemed to enjoy walks and visits around the Peak District during her stay. The house was immaculate on our return and the cats happy and content. We hope she returns in the future.
