Dog Sitters in Mont Vernon, NH

Koreena was a nice person and good house sitter. I appreciated the time she spent with the cqts they were happy upon my return and i got almost daily photos and check in which was great. The house was clean upon return and she even washed my towels and sheets which I didn’t expect and appreciated. She was able to give my cats medicine and monitor their health, which was great. She monitored the cats well and would update me. The only small thing is she saw improvement and made the decision to stop a medication my cat was getting without discussing it with me (because she saw improvement in his eating and stool). I expressed disappointment, and she apologized however my cat regressed in improvement as a result. I would have handled it differently and kept him on the med or alternated days and just wish she would have run it by me before making that decision for my cat. Besides that I would definitely use her again and feel overall very happy with her care.

Lori and John were great sitters, they communicated well and were tidy. We were grateful they were able to meet us the day before the stay started since we have a special needs kitty (insulin shots and bg testing req'd). We felt comfortable and confident our kitties were in good hands. We'd have Lori and John sit for us again in a heartbeat.

Happy to have Heather stay at ours while we were away! Turned out our friends took wee Jet while we were gone, but we wanted to still be able to offer heather a place to stay, lovely person through and through! Look forward to staying in touch and having paths cross again. X

Laura was amazing! Great communicator. Incredibly tidy. And it was clear my dogs loved her. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter!

Jessica was a great dog- and house-sitter. She made sure to know and understand the expectations and routines, which put our minds at ease (we’re always worried about leaving the dogs!) It was nice to meet with her for a short while before we left to do a smooth handoff and get to know her a bit. She even sent cute pictures of the dogs that showed how well she was caring for them (for example, pics of them tucked into blankets on the couch next to her) We certainly hope she had as nice and easy a time sitting for us as we had hosting her, because we’d love to have her back!

We were thrilled to have Dan and Lana back for a second home/pet stay. Our first experience with them last year left quite an impression on us for so many reasons. They are incredibly attuned to our dogs' unique behaviors. Both are storied rescues. They have their antics and quirks and will push boundaries when given the opportunity. This second go round with our pups, Dan and Lana deepened their relationship with both. They strike a beautiful balance between being playful and working with each dog. As an example, Rupa often wakes up quite early and with unbridled exuberance. Dan and Lana find positive and effective ways to diffuse this energy so that all can move into the day more calmly. This same approach was used for meal time. They ask Freya to wait outside the kitchen as they prepare their meals. Rupa also waits for her food with less cattle dog drama! Dan and Lana are truly gifted when it comes to canine communication. Just as was true with their first stay with us, they shared dinner with us when we got home and relayed invaluable training tips as well as observations they made while walking the trails, playing fetch, etc. These are people we have complete trust in, making our travels completely worry free. They leave our home clean and well ordered making our return a breeze. Beyond their capacity to work with our dogs, they're wonderful people who we now consider friends. We feel honored and very fortuntate to have this relationship and will definitely call them back when next we travel.

This was our second time having Samantha as a sitter, both times for several weeks. She’s absolutely excellent! Very responsible with all of the pet and home care tasks, helpful on any unexpected house-related issue, very proactive, and amazingly loving and caring for our doggo. Samantha has our trust 100% and we would have her at our home anytime. Lego already misses you, Samantha!

I am so grateful for Laura and Dan. Not only did they leave my house in beautiful condition, but they stayed in contact with me. They sent me darling pictures of my beloved cat snuggled on their laps and purring. He was clearly loving the affection he was getting. I could not be happier than I am with Laura and Dan. I would not hesitate to recommend them, and will certainly use them again if they are available.

We did not get a chance to meet Janet but she was a lovely sitter. She seemed to genuinely enjoy hanging out with our dogs and sent great photos and video. Communication was excellent and house was very clean. Highly recommended!

This is the second time Janet housesat for us, and we just have to rave about how wonderful she has been. I'm embarrassed to say that we forgot to leave a copy of our house sitter instructions and there were a few days when we were camping and were unexpectedly "off the grid". Janet soldiered on despite a few minor issues when she showed initiative and took care of the issues. The pets love her and she sends us pictures every few days that we enjoy. So we'll look forward to future house sit opportunities if they arise.

Taury was AMAZING with our dogs. She took them for several fun hikes and walks every day, played with them and gave them the love that we would have if we were here. We were soooo happy with the way she took care of our two energetic, big lovable girls! We would love to have her back!

The cats were well taken care off. The house was spotless upon our return. Melissa is welcome to return anytime!
